I am very sure whoever posted those pictures has an axe to grind with the school authorities. Let's be fair and objective here, anyone could walk into any Nigerian University and take snap shots of places like the ones presented here. There is hardly any Nigerian University that does not have her own share of cesspits-be it Unilag or the overrated private schools. As for the quality of their graduate, the ones I have come across especially during my I.T programs at various times did prove to me they were getting their money's worth. Besides, their school fees is not in the region of 500k people should stop posting hokum. The poster is biased and obviously is out to discredit the school. Let him show us the good, the bad and the ugly sides of the school, not just an obviously malevolent pictures of the School's ugly sides. I have seen pictures of better places of the school, there is more to the poster's intent than meet the eyes.

I as well have always been vexed by the false sense of intelligence that our intellectually lazy journalist embelished that goon, IBB. Only Nigerian journalists see intelligence in one being cunning, crafty and crude in their dealings with others. As far as showing capacity to understand Nigeria's problem is concerned, he failed woefully, dude lacks the ability to make the right decisions, his style is crude and his only easy route is being evasive which only exposes his lack of depth. How the guy and geneius come begin share name baffle me sef. I ve watched many of his interviews on tv, the man is obviously not near intelligent let alone a genius whether evil or good. He is just crafty and evasive, period!!

I can't believe a person in his right frame of mind will have this kind of foolish thoughts. Seriously, our collective sense of decency in this country has been bastardized to the extent it is now a normal thing for people to accept crime and criminals as if they were the norm.
This is an all time low for Nigeria. I shudder at the thought that there are even more of such senators at our national assembly making excuses for criminals in the name of fattening the national purse. There is nothing rational about this suggestion both in theory and in practise.

The downfall of gadafi is as a result of curse placed on him. The end of boko haram has come watch it.
. . Seriously Dude, you need help!! It is high time government agencies snooped on the kind of preachings that go on in churches and mosques. Your Pastors are obviously fckin with your minds and heads, they ve literally created an imagery of their divinity in your feeble mind. I bet he also told you that Gaddafi died because he placed a curse on him, what a stoooopid assertion.
What you don't realize is that your Pastor is endangering the lives of both his members and other christians living in those far away hot spots where these bokoHaram boys are wrecking havoc. It is not acceptable for him to make inflamatory statements from the comfort of his pulpit in Ota that can spark further violence against christians that live in the north.
Instead of you, members telling him to exercise some restraint, you all are busy fuelling an already bad situation with him, talking about a pointless curse whose only effect will be further violence and bloodshed. May be you guys should hold more of such services in Maiduguri and brace up for what is to come, not leave others high and dry when the result of your curses begin to kill other christians in other places. Utter rubbish!!

Even though it is painful to see how these bokoHaram boys have been committing murder enmass and at their whims and caprices, I still don't think cursing them openly in public will solve anything. Rather it will embolden them and give them reasons to commit more of such acts against him and his church. His lack of restraint will only put the lives of members of his church that in great danger, at least, for their sake he should keep such outburst to himslf

Na only boys wey dey carried away by fashion brand go dey buy pants for 10K and above. For what na? It is way better to get the quality of the material you want and head straight to a very good tailor, everything should cost nothing more than 4k if na just one pant u wan sew but if e plenty like I always do both with troussers and shirts the cost should be way less. I think Aba has one of the best tailors when it comes to nicely fitted shirts and troussers both for formal occassions and casual outing. Why will I buy a shirt or pair of pants for such a ridiculous amount just because they are branded with the tags of known designers, rubbish!! Nigerians and their need to prove something sha. . .suddenly, nobody here wears pants or shirts that cost 1500 or 2k, or even the mass produced chinese and malaysian jeans that has flooded our market. Me I dey wear them very well and they look very good and fit fine. If dem no take my shape well, I give it to my tailor to amend it to my size. God forbid I go carry aka kporo 10k or 15k go buy troussers say wetin happen na?? Am I working just to wear over-hype and overpriced designer labelled clothes. . Scheeeew. , that is lack of creativity jor, I don't fancy designers, I am more into quality and fitting clothes not neccessarily who designed them. May be for wrist watches and shoes I could spend that much but for mere troussers and shirts I could easily copy their designs(i do that a lot. . Lol) and material quality and send it to my tailor in Aba, why waste so much moneyhuh

Quoting my comment on another thread out of context to prove what? That I am a tribalist? Far from it gurlfriend, I am an Igbo man to the core, and I have got huge pride in my Igboness. Even in that thread I challenged folks who did not agree with my post on that thread, which compared the divorce rate between Yoruba marriages and Igbo marriages to show me in the context of the questions raised by the O.P of that thread where I was uneccessarily bashing the the Yoruba tribe? Everything I said in that that post is a fact!! You may not like it but it is the truth. Yoruba men are very randy, many of them have extra-marital affairs, a sizeable bulk of illiterate and semi-illiterate Yoruba men do not show any serious sense of responsibilty towards their family and childrien, once a child is through with either primary or secondary education, they take their hands off such childrien and give them liberty to do as they please, leaving the work of training and sponsoring the child further to their wives that labour uneccessarily and age quickly. I personally know of cases where some Yoruba men in my work place who earn around 40k per month send #5000-#10,000 to each of their wives in far away home states for family upkeep while harbouring a girlfriend from inside the company. My Boss who is a very responsible Yoruba man by all standards & religiously pious to a fault secretly has a lover that oil his loins also from inside the company. These are not not just exceptional cases they are common with Yoruba men; this is not a case of tribal bashing or mudslinging. So, It is an act of desperation for anyone to quote a post I made in context of another thread in an entirely different thread is hitting below the belt and reeks of petty mindedness. Anyway, that's your own cup of tea, you are not any better and your senseless opinions do not count.
Regarding food and who has more, it is foolish arguing that with you cos every tom, Joystick and harry knows that in comparison, easterners, especially the Igbos have more varieties of both native soups and food, I repeat again, eastern cuisines will pale out any southwestern cuisine, go figure that out. I watched him yesterday with enthusiasm on AIT addressing Imilites about his 100days achievments, the man is a fire brand. He knows his onions like the back of his hands; this man did not need the aid of any written compilation to talk about his achievments, it was more like an intellectual discussion session. And when you think he wont address certain issues, right there he disappoints you; am talking about road construction and rehabilitation which some imolites think he is not giving enough attention. He told imolites that the reason his government has not taken it by the jugular was because of the raining season, however, there is already a program dedicated to road rehabilitation which they call Zero Pothole and from what my brother has said, it has been very successful especially in owerri. The controversial stipend to secondary and primary sch student was a gesture to promote attendance, it is not enuogh to force parents to enrole their childrien in school whether such childrien are willing or not. Incentives like the stipend (which students can only earn after it has been ascertained that they attended classes full in the months) have the positive effect of heightening attendance and creating enthusiasm in the child for education. He is not in denial that some people think that such unconventional policy is a waste as he has warned both teachers, aids and commissioners that should there be a case of corruption in the program, he will disgrace them out of office. He did not forget to warn his aids and commissioners who connive with traditional rulers to play politics, he told in strong words how he will deal ruthlessly with such elements when they are found out. He told the traditional rulers that they must not get involved in politics if they want to remain as traditional rulers. The man spoke with passion, oratory and charisma of a true leader, he knows the problem of the state and did not need any written aid to help him discuss it. Rochas Okorocha is my man!

Dere I:
There is nothing like "A right time" anymore. Another thing you have to know is, bringing up topics from your previous relationships is a real turn-off. Why not establish something both of you can adore rather than talk waste your time about things that have past? Hurtful things at that matter.

I know its hard sometimes with a new relationship. Trying to do everything to please your partner. But the major thing is, try not to displease yourself too. Say it out when you are hurt. Correct her politely when she is wrong. Pray with her, play with her. Be opened and make her understand that you also want her to be opened. No secrets.

I pray for you though that God should give you the wisdom on how to deal with this. But take it easy and dont be too hard on yourself.
you know I did not tell you we had very contrasting views about fashion & sex; she wont wear troussers or earrings, when it comes to sex, she does not entertain any discussion there at all. I have been patient with her anyway and believe with love she will tone down a bit especially her mode of fashion. I am a young man with a lot of life in me, while I advocate decency in dressing and sex being an integral part of a relationship, I realy find extremist opposition to them uncomfortable. Already, I ve told her that for now, I wont disturb her over these issues but over time, it will have to be trashed out. What I dont get is whether she misconstrued it to mean that I ve agreed that the relationship will never discuss sex or that I like the way she carries herself in her dressing style. How do I go about putting these things on the table without hurting her and pls understand my point, I am not basing my relationship on sex but I just don't see myself involved in a relationship with no prospect for sex. If I am going to be totally committed to her, she will have to understand that i ve blood flowing through my veins and don't want to ve to ask somebody else for that.

I am deeply sorry for what you are going thru. But like you said, you have to be opened with your partner. Why not let her know she hurts you with her nonchalant attitude? Why not let her know that appreciation for very little things counts? Try to fix a date convenient to both of you and discuss this issue now that its not late. I'm not a relationship expert rather am just like every other person. Everyone has his/her hard times in a relationship. But one thing i console myself with when i feel my relationship is not going well or when i am having some problems with my boyfriend, I remember that we've had better times and we will again.
the last time we fixed a date like that where we had a soul to soul discussion she cried profusely several times when we explored very sensitve subjects like sex, previous relationships, family background and relationship with both her siblings and her parents, so on & so on. I hate to see her cry, the other time we were listening a song by boyz2men, i think the track was on bended kneels; she started crying, when I asked why she was crying, she wont say but I suspect it had to do with her previous relationship.
That's why most time we just talk about non-issues and leave the real thing to be discused. We are so cautious about not hurting eachother feelings that it closes up all avenues of open discussion. I plan to do so anyway, am just looking for the right time.

This is a classic. Goes to show how sometimes when we complain of being bored with somebody, it is actually the things we ve overtime taken for granted, things we used to do before but for some inexplicable reasons stopped along the way. Loving somebody takes an effort, it does not end with just having feelings for the person cos when we resume activities of our former lives before we met, we might be caught up in a dilemma, you find out these activities are competing with the emotions-feelings of love that has brought the two of you togethet- in a way that you don't notice or realize until it gets to divorce or break-up stage. Intimacy is very important in any relationship, the moment it is achieved in a relationship, you find out such relationship can withstand anything.
Reading through this fine story, I realized something similar happening in my new found relationship. I notice we don't discuss certain aspect of our relationship that can foster intimacy, my girlfriend gets too emotional and refuses to talk about them. Sometimes, I fear that might be the genesis of the break-up that such attitude will bring. Just this morning she slightly angered me by choosing to rather spend time with her friend than coming over to my place as we had earlier planned. I reluctantly agreed to her sudden change of mind but was disappointed that she cared less that I felt a little turned off by it. A little call to cheer me up from her friend's would ve sufficed, little thoughfulness like that are things that even make you wanna love somebody more. Sometimes, I feel like I am in the relationship all by myself just to make her happy, we have strong feelings for eachother no doubt but at times I feel that is not enough to carry us on in the relationship. I feel she is too convenient in the slanted relationship(to me it is) that she takes little things for granted, as far as I am concerned, our intimacy is stagnant and it pains me a lot. I make efforts but for some inexplicable reasons she does not realize it. Last time I bought her a wrist watch and went through a lot of discomfort to keep up with the date i promised her i was going to give her the wrist watch. Do you know that until I gave her the wrist watch she did not show any enthusiasm or seriousness as to know how I went about it even though I told her that I almost missed going to work that day cos I wanted to make sure she had a good quality wrist watch. Non-chalance like that are what kills me inside when i think about it, she knows me very well when it comes to appreciating her efforts for things she has gone out her way to do for me, however small or non-relevant; I will praise her to high heavens, pet her to show I cared that she did that for me and all that. @Poster
Anyway, let me not bore you with my own story, by the way, did you write that yourself? Would love to get your advice on my relationship wahala. I almost cried reading the story, it is just what many relationships go through, be it a marriage or a mere boyfriend-girl friend relationship.

all4naija:
Hmmm,  I can see where you are coming from. You are wrong again, the accessement of CT Scan has proven that the brain and Chest are more accurate in interpreting than the abdomen. That I know from experience with a cousin of mine who had tumor and had gone for several abdominal CT Scans before it was ascertained.  I know you are being sentimental because I can see that from the tone of you resorting to black magic as the culprit, after failing to provide evidences that he actually possessed narcotic drugs in his body. I am among those who advocates for thorough scrutiny of his body and on the other way round CT Scan alone can not be a proof - there must be tangible evidences to proof the man is carry narcotic drugs. To your dismay you would find out that in developed world dogs(specially trained ones ) are employed to detect drugs and special injections are administered if there are ample evidences. Don't act as if you didn't know about errors emanating from CT Scan, even in the case of growths. Referring to white man in your comment only subject you more to why you failed to see the problem here - there are no proofs! White man is human and the machines can repeat the same thing due to what they are programmed to do - that is a fact.

I think the remaining two weeks were not reported because the NDLEA failed to find anything to support their errors. I for one would be very concerned if nothing is found in his body at the end, yet, the ability of the agency failing to understand that holding the man for more than the necessary time to assert their proofs has ruled out any thing trustworthy. Then, we know there is nothing to prove the man possessed the hard drugs - they could be other wrapped objects used by traditionalist(which I believe he is one of them). If I must addressed this issue, from a reasonable perspective, the agency should let him go and bear the consequences of the stigma. It could serve as an opportunity to review many things by them for future occurrences.

However, If black magic was to be the case, it would likely be right for every drugs peddlers to be using the black magic to escape the CT Scan. And again, the magic should have been potent enough for the CT Scan not to detect the objects at all at the airport. Please, spare me your incapable reasoning of knowing that the so called black magic is just trick which, if well scrutinized, you will see the underlining tricks.
I don't want to argue about this, there is no basis for the claims that abdominal CT scans are less accurate or that the CT scanner interpretes abdominal scans less than that of the brains and chest. I find it curious that only your cousin's case gave you such conclusions.
Whether we all like it or not, black magic and mysticism can't be ruled out in this case, I don't care what the white man tells you. If you think many of them are mere tricks then I implore you to go and challenge or test the efficacy of your beliefs or claims. You don't have to agree with gravitational laws, electrical laws and the likes but you get a first hand experience( that is if you surviveit) when you choose to ignore them and go against their laws; like wise is the case of blackmagic, what you choose to believe does not kill their existence.
That we have differing opinions on matter of metaphysics and mysticism does not make me or you any smarter than the other.
Besides, during the court proceedings, the man claimed he had been feeding himself in the most part; i.e that is they bring him food from home and all that, you go figure out what that means. I am certain as well that NDLEA operatives wont find anytging again on him but that does not mean he did not carry something on him. I refuse to believe that either the CT scans or the radiographers mader any errors.

That explains you don't know anything about CAT SCAN(CT scan). In my previous comment I tried to make jest of the NDLEA by laughing at their silly belief the man was using advanced Juju on them, when I said it must have been some talisman he swallowed. The truth is that the errors with CT Scan usually comes from those who interpret the results. If they ended up employing poor hands to help out with the result things usually turn out to be misinterpreted - that's what I think happened in the case of Baba Suwe. There is nothing like advanced Juju with CT Scan, the problems are usually from the people reading the results. The images of objects found in his body could be tumors or other cancerous growths. If I am the alleged person I would go for a thorough check to see if I am having some health problems(lymphoma, usually comes up at the armpit, neck and other part of the body- other growths are initially not painful), yet, they stay in the body for some times before having painful effect.

I still arguably believe the people who read the result should be blamed for their poor performances. CT Scan is usually accurate for brain and chest reports and less accurate in abdominal analysis. So, don't think the CT Scan can't be wrong. All along I am seeing a foul play in the interpretation of the CT Scan due to some evidence trying to make the man spend more than 48 hours without success and not releasing him - is a case where the NDLEA failed to understand that there could be errors somewhere. Smart agency would allow him to go but keep doing some reviews on where the errors  emanated from, for future occurrences.
your excuse beats common sense. If the radiologist employed at airport is quack as you want to paint it what about the one from LASUTH?
And where did you get that barefaced lie that abdominal CT scans are less acurate? What a lie? This is not your usual x-ray scans whose results can be subjected to further scanning using MRI and CAT scans.
I repeat, that Nigga is guilty as charged, I am not flustered by any medical sophistry to explain away what may have happened.
How come the radiologist all of a sudden became madiocre when it got to Baba Suwe's case. How many cases of such mis-interpretations have they had at the airport from thesame radiologist? Or is Baba Suwe is a special error case of seclusion? This is all BS!!! Niggur had sonething on him and that was why the officials of NDLEA were so confident to the extent of getting a court injunction to further hold him in custody for another 2weeks. How come during the remaining part of the two weeks nobody said anything about the content of his excreta? Abi is it still thesame old redundant claims of him eating one in 3days. As for those trying so hatd to sound more enlightened and whiter than the whiteman; are you all trying to say the use of juju is an irrelevant variable in this case. How many of you have seen real display of fetishism, I have been eye-witness to situation where somebody was macheted several times in a fight and nothing happened to him, not even a cut. If you guys know anything about mysticism and black magic you wont be in a hurry to want to sound smart and educated to the point of dismissing a strong possibility.
