OP was this the part we shout testimony time, Blessing time cheesy

On a serious note,.. what u described is the definition of marrying your best friend and soulmate...No dull moment...Also the fact that u were an introvert helps the waka waka reduction...

I am happy for you especially making out time to attend birthday parties and other functions... keep it up man...

It least for once since this December we have seen someone enjoying his marriage and not all the complaint of I mistakenly slap my husband what should I do?.., my wife is cheating on me I need your advice...., My nephew stole a phone is he a thief?,.. my mother-in-law slapped her father in law what should I do,.. My wife doesn't want my mother to come for baby sitting, is she wicked? etc.. grin

How did she get hold of your girl friend's number....There are so many loopholes in this story though

Family › Re: . by Richy4(m): 12:52am On Dec 30, 2021
<<<Being an introvert is not a death sentence....Some times it's better to stay on your own and have your self worth and dignity in tact...Some times the humiliations and insults the extroverts takes on daily basis, u might not endure it...

<<<However, You have to try and get out of your comfort zone... and meet with people, this is because your future husband can never see you for the first time inside your room, except u were into online dating... u have to go out and meet him...

<<<Your self esteem issues, I don't know if you know former late first lady called Mrs Stella Obasanjo... she wasn't tall then but the way she carried herself like she was 7ft when she was alive, graceful, elegant and class... U can also do that.. your height got nothing to do with anything...what matters is your confidence...

<<<In terms of getting yourself out there, Start with the baby step.. Good manners will take u places u can never dream of...learn how to say hello...Practice it with old women,,, greet them and mean it.......{Not the waka pass kinda greeting if the person responds or not u don't care}remember u were learning to speak with genuine interest...

<<<You didn't say if you were into religion... I would have said ushering in the church would have been another step to take you out of your comfort zone...Any volunteering group can basically help too... like once in a week @ motherless babies homes...Homes for the needy or Nursing homes for the elderly...If u are not doing this, then start it; learn how to boldly and confidently go to school cafeteria to buy coke.. sit there alone and drink while checking on your phone/ killing time while waiting for your next lectures(this could be ones in a month thing)A prince might come up for a chat..

<<<Please while u were trying to get yourself out there be careful about Foxes and Wolves... the fact that you want to eat meat does not mean that you should bow down to a cow...Good Luck
Family › Re: My Fiancée Uses Too Much Salt.. How Do I Correct Her? by Richy4(m):
@ Onepointfiveodds, the worst thing u can do in life is to end up with someone that is not teachable or someone that feels he/she is above being corrected...Even organizations finds those kind of people exhausting......

It might seem minor now but later, U will understand how trying it can be...I'm every glad u were not blinded with those Rose spectacles couples wear when in love....This is the best time to take a rain check..... Find out if u can tolerate this attitude...Good Luck buddy...

By the way, The good book says U are the "SALT" of the earth...Your woman may have recognized that and decided to add excess smiley

Does taking the dish to the kitchen means he should wash it? If he does it isn't a crime. It is disrespectful to leave your plates on the dining table. You should clean up after yourself which means when you are done eating, just take the dish to the appropriate place it should be and not create a litter.
Honestly there's nothing disrespectful and offensive about a wife that removed a plate that the husband used in eating....Many stay at home mums and wives will gladly do it...That does not make anyone inferior or superior... It is called helping with love which u clearly can't understand...
Every efficient stay at home wife will help in making sure that the husband goes to work on time....Removing a plate that the husband used in eating inclusive ...Maybe u got another definition of disrespect that I wasn't getting.....

What I don't understand is how from January to maybe August that she coincided this want nipped in the bud. How does she go to shop from 10am to 3pm? Is she selling nursery school children snacks?

You also have your fault. As an adult you can't eat breakfast and leave the plates on the dining table to go to work. That is disrespectful and not a clean behavior which could have fueled her behavior to mess up the home as well.
shocked Are you for real? as in really?
Look buddy, If u are looking for a reason to hang the OP, there are many based on his foresight challenges... but this definitely is not included ...were u insinuating that a wife will be at home watching movies, OP will finish his breakfast and start washing the dishes before he goes to work? haba!!! If he wants to invite guests he is free to do so but he should drop the secrecy he should tell my Dad he is inviting a friend over and make it official, not acting like a kidnapper, I think he wouldn't have dared bring her over if he wasn't staying in my Uncle's house...

And to be honest I don't like the girl, she isn't pretty she isn't interesting, she likes acting holier than thou, she's even 6 years younger than him, which makes the whole thing worse.
I don't know why I find this quote interesting smiley...
<<<U sounded like the last child/ born in the family, are you?... smiley
My brother, I guess u are young that is why u were sounding this way... But take this like an elder Bro's advice..

<<<This attitude you were exhibiting is the type that brews cold war between siblings forever.. especially when it's as minor as this... and when it lingers longer than necessary, if anyone asks what the problem is, they can't even place when, how and where it all started....Please drop it now..

<<< Your brother likes the girl in question...U were not in his heart.. U don't dictate whom he should be friends with..

<<< When u have your own friend and starts swimming into the ocean of love, he will have no right as well to tell you whom to love.. because it's a matter of the heart...

<<< The girl's physical appearance/ attitude is irrelevant to you at the moment because u were not the person dating her... But u as a brother can only point it out to your brother when eventually he asked for your opinion or when the relationship gets serious...but he still has the final say ..

<<< Anytime your brother is ready for serious commitment, he will officially approach your father... He can't bring in any Tom, Dick and Harry to your dad... If he does that, u guys might loose counts...

<<< Any time u gets an unpleasant message from her, tell her that u were not the one dating her, hence your opinion doesn't count.. she should concentrate on your brother and why she was there and leave U out of it ..

<<< When u do not want to do what siblings does best anymore which is covering for each other, please tell him u were done, u don't feel like doing it any more, he should count u out of that... That is your choice and right buddy...

<<< Please be happy, it's holidays season.. don't let little thing ruin it for you... Cheers smiley

Shadow225:
Definitely this
Haba!!! Do u know the reason or conditions stipulated to him by your uncle before he moved in?

There are certain behaviours/ things one can do in their father's house and can never try that in someone else's house... That is why people always say.." do u think you are in your father's house.."

Not trying to be the devil's advocate but what u were trying to make him do is not right... What if he wasn't staying in your uncle's house? What then...

If u have issues with him having a girlfriend or a girl u don't like, that is understandable but having issues that he invites guest to his father's house is just.. I don't even know what to say..but let me make it 100% clear, u have no right buddy to tell him where to entertain his guest.. u all have an equal rights in that house to invite any guests that u wishes...
Family › Re: How Can I Be Matured About This? by Richy4(m):
I'm glad that people that understands the issue have told you what to do...
But could U explain further to someone like me that is slow to understand.. What is your headache in all these?
<<<Was it that your brother is under aged and should not be involved with a girl at the moment? OR

<<< Was it that u were angry that she brings a girl home instead of taking her to your uncle's house where he's living? ( Was it a one bedroom house) OR

<<< Was it that they were consuming the food you provided and he wasn't contributing anything even when she brings a girl regularly?

I just hope that the few days relaxation that Liverpool had will help us..

The laziness was there when u were courting her but u failed to see it because as I always say, when people wears those Rose plated spectacles that was covered with love, they can't see... Even when giant red flags that were flying on fullmast were standing in front of them, they can't see it.. but now, I guess it's getting clearer, u can now see grin

<<<Here is what I think man...

<<< There's no need saying that the business u opened for her will not crumble... It will, because the lady incharge doesn't care much... Do not open another one if it crumbles...The wife u have is better off in an office where there's time schedule, project to run that needs deadline..
<<<She will sit up when she has a demanding boss... Her personality cannot handle a business of her own sorry... Except u have a lot of money that u will be injecting into a business that will never yield profit...Let her starts submitting her CV in organisations immediately she puts to bed ...

<<< U should get a maid..She doesn't like to cook, or clean and she doesn't want a house help..who does that?... what did she tell u that made you to agree to her terms? What kind of unreasonable expectations does she want from you?... That u should come back from work, cook and clean while she sit and raises her legs on the couch and watch TV? Did u agree to her terms because she is pregnant and will be giving birth to Messiah? angry

Am going to cut this story really short.
Am the only child of my dad, all though he is not married to my mum and he lost his wife last three years without having a child from her. to cut the story short I don't follow with him like our spirit don't align at all. maybe its cos of the fact that he is not married to my mum? maybe I can't tell.. and moreover he tells me he can't marry my mum. and the mummy she is talking about self has already moved on in her life
@ bold is the problem man.... it is resentment... You feel that your mum was the side chick... U see that status as distasteful.. u are not finding it funny....

I will suggest that you let your mum fight her battle...You did not know the agreement they had before they gave birth to you... do not get involved...It is not compulsory that all relationship must end in marriage.. try and be civil with him... Cheers buddy

All this preaching about protection, U clearly didn't get it right? even in this 21st century... People still go raw..not minding HIV?

Besides, the way u were not forthcoming about serious commitment to her is also the same way she doesn't want to put all her eggs in one basket...

Oh!! So u think u were the only one?..I'm even curious to know.. on what grounds were u fighting for...Was it on the grounds that you were the only man capable of impregnating a lady in your neighborhood or that u have checked her in and out and she doesn't have anyone except you while you guys were doing what u were doing?

Please man, do not destroy someone's home because u were looking for something that was not there..
