It seems the Op doesn't know the games being played by so called Foreign investors to 3rd world country it's usually extractive companies to exploit raw materials hardly finished products ...If they happen to produce finished products it's usually consumer goods like biscuits, plastics, Beverages, Chickens, Milk, Pampers and Pharmaceutical products...and repatriate the money back to their countries while they get Tax incentives for employing Nigerians ...

Japa is not for everybody.

But realize that those that are coming are taking advantage of the climate in Nigeria the lawlessness and get away free card that exist , the insecurity, no tax. etc.

China and Indian have billions of people that need to find work so they come to Nigeria. Where they put their people to work here nepotism and deny Nigerians job opportunities. Where they can sleep around with our ladies for Pennies just because they can.
As for Lebanese - I’ll always hate the one with whom I shared a girl friend with simply because he was her boss.
Nigeria has been on a backward slide since 1985 when “ Andrew don’t check out ads” filled the air ways. Instead of fixing stuff we migrate and adapt . Instead of fixing epileptic power supply - we engineer solar and inverters and generators.

Roads are in deplorable state we just migrate to Lekki and Ikoyi and VI areas and abandoned people. Or buy Jeep and trucks .

Refinery last worked in 2000 or so yet we export oil . Just crazy crazy crazy . So for 23 years no government could take on the challenge of bringing the money maker back on line.

I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend
For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..

Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty .
but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows.
I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.


I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..

I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me .
This is my sweat, something I have work for ...

For the past one four months ?
How can someone be disciplined yet owe you salary ?

I don’t understand the governors of Lagos and OgunState.
You can employee over 2000 with road construction and maintenance.
Award contracts to reputable companies and let them sub contract this to local companies. Employee those that will dig, weld and construct gutters and survey the road. Local supplies for sand cement and gravel . And procure asphalt . There are thousands of roads that need attention in that Abule Egba , Agbado Ijaiye, Area .

Something happened in my church yesterday and its so strange to me.

Yesterday was the youth anniversary so the youth president has been soliciting for funds and yes people complied and myself also. it was time for thanksgiving and all youth danced to the altar then the pastor openly reject the money contributed by the youth to the amount of 50k in the sense that its too small and also making reference to 2years ago when the youth as at that time bought the church drum set to the amount of 250k. he rejected the money and prayed for us.

This is has been disturbing my mind since yesterday and i am just wondering how a pastor will openly reject amount contributed by people.

note this is not mandatory donations and a man of God reject 50k in this economy of Tinubu? i am just having a mix feelings and its disturbing. what your view on this

I try to refrain from saying anything negative about an ordained POG ( man /woman of God) .

You are right to feel somewhat . There are two ways to look at this

1. No matter the economy and situation Christians SHOULD strive in any economy. The bible is filled with examples of men of faith excelling contrary to what the signs say. Was everyone heart in the giving ? Could someone have done more but yet held back ? The rejection could have been a direct message to those that refused to give for whatsoever reason.

2. If you recall there was an offering taken in the temple and Jesus was looking at how people where donating - the moral of the story to me is that you genuinely give from what you have. Someone who gave N100 from N1000 gave more than someone who gave N10,000 from N1m.

I would discuss with an elder or two your feelings regarding the whole thing. Talk it out and talk it through . It could also be a learning opportunity for the man of God. No one is above mistake.

It's so funny when you try to be a nice guy to ladies but end up heartbroken by same lady. This is someone that will call me on phone at 2am to profess her love for me, to tell me how good our future is, to encourage me to be courageous so we can get married soon. The girl is so manipulative, cunning and crafty. Same girl that went to the university, spent 7yrs for a five years course and still hasn't been able to graduate due to excessive carryovers. She's a complete dullard, has heart issues & was told she could die at any time. But I still loved this lady. She told me I'm every woman's dream Man.
