Do not date such a guy!
Do not let people mislead you. Yes, the guy actually loved you all these years , however you made a serious blunder thinking he just wants to be friends. Some guys do not know how to ask ladies out and him getting close at the initial stage and doing all sorts is his own way of asking you out.
The problem is you have told him so much and you are now to exposed. Especailly, the fact that he probably knows your body count amd other guys that have slept with you.
Believe me, when you give in. relaity will also set in for him. Sometimes, sex clears guys head more on how they feel about a lady.
He loves you? Yes, but no guy wants to know other guys that have slept with a lady while he stuck around being the good guy.
He is introverted and most introverts are very calculative and can be manipulative too. I guess he just do not want to leave school without having sex with you. He came out because his time is almost over at school.
Believe me, he has figured out you do not love him after the first year on his own. Because, if you were aa close as you claimed, you must have slept with guys that did not do 5% of what he has done for you.
Move on dear. This is life and it is not perfect.
He will not like that much after the rejection but that is normal. |

omotodun1: Her altruism, dedication, loyalty, and devotion. I have never loved anyone like I did her and I am afraid I may never love in this fashion. We were perfect for each other, a match made in heaven. But she was a Muslim and I was a Christian, so our families did not approve. In fact, she was an American Lebanese Arab who wore an hijab and she was very devout.
My Christian family were against the relationship. They referenced the famous scriptures about "not being unequally yoked with unbelievers" and her people were vehemently against our relationship, claiming that it was Haram and against the will of Allah.
It was a very interesting situation, in that religious folks were using their Holy Books to support the breakdown of a relationship between two people who deeply loved each other. My faith is still intact, but I no longer associate with bigots who use religion to separate people.
Ultimately, her family gave her a choice: me or them. And she chose them. I have never felt this type of pain. I did not intentionally seek out an Arab Muslim. IT JUST HAPPENED! Notice that I did not say anything about her looks. In fact, this was the very first time that a woman's looks meant nothing to me. It was completely about her character and devotion. Anyway, I am rambling. I should leave now! This right here is very rare. Your feelings are not superficial ,and the relationship could have stood every other kind of test except the religious one that tore you guys apart. |

wirinet: Nigeria's major problem is religion. It is the the main cause of poor and ineffective leadership. It promotes prayers over work, it promote subservience over accountability. It promotes division, hatred and nepotism. Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!! Their comments devoid of logic and critical thinking. Typical of majority of religious folks. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Glory Dome: Dunamis 100,000 Seater Church Auditorium Gallops Towards Completion by rman: 1:11pm On Aug 08, 2018 |
wirinet: Wrong analogy. The alleged $16billion was wasted due to bad management, planning and execution, which is the bane of the whole sub Saharan Africa. We just do not possess high level technical and managerial manpower. $16 might be huge for a private organization like a church, but it is nothing to a government.
You pay tax? now that is a lie. Most Nigerians do not pay tax, and for those that pay, most of the money does not get to government coffers.
And how is the "voluntary tax" to the churches improve your standard of living? It advances the cause of Christ (which is equal to the cause of the pastors that own the church), but how does it advance the cause of the members paying this "voluntary tax"?
The same way govenment chop our money is the same way Pastors chop your money. The difference is, we can complain when government chop our money, but you cannot even ask questions when pastors chop your money. You worship our own oppressors but turn around and complain government is not giving you good hospitals, roads, food, etc., when you prefer to pay tithes and offerings than tax.
poor analogy. Aregbe would manage winners chapel as well as Oyedepo if not better and Oyedepo would be very poor in the management of Osun state. Aregbe does not have sole ownership of Osun state, he is not the general overseer of Osun state. He has to report to the national assembly and has to beg the people before he is elected and re-elected. He has only a definite time to govern osun. He cannot spend Osun money alone.
Winners on the other hand is absolute monarchy. The finances of Winners is the same thing as the finances of Oyedepo. He can decide to spend the money anyhow he likes. He does not report or is responsible to anybody. His word is law.
With the tithes and offerings that enters winners account every week, Oyedepo will continue to be richer no matter what happens in the general economy. Thank you! Some of the posters fail to factor in the fact that GOs are demi gods. No one questions them, they can do whatever they like and the followers 100% comply. Totally different from being part of a government at different levels. Even the president have polices and procedures governing him. |

DookShop: Don't get it all twisted. Governance is simple. Requires commitment and hard work but it is simple. At its simplest form, it is service and nothing more. That Nigeria is filled with visionless rulers doesn't change that fact. There is nothing twisted there, building church auditoriums by GOs whose followers see them as demi gods and barely question them is completely different from governing a complex society like Nigeria. There is really no correlation sef. Religious houses/settings is devoid of logic. To assume pastors or Imams will be better political leaders using their achievement in religious environment is ludicrous |

HigherEd: If the quality of people governing our churches were able to govern our nation then Nigeria might just be glorious.
Enenche: Medical doctor became pastor Adeboye: First class Mathematician abandoned academia for the clergy Oyedepo: Architect turn pastor Olukoya: First class scientist turn pastor Faith Oyedepo: First class graduate turn pastor Kumuyi: First class graduate turn pastor And the list goes on...
Yet you wonder why the Churches are growing in leaps and bound yet the nation is struggling. It seems the best of the best of university graduates are manning the churches while those with dubious qualifications are manning the govt, yet some thoughtless, senseless and directionless people would attack pastors for doing what pastors are meant to do - grow the church! They aren't meant to grow your economy or your education sector but the mandate of the church(whatever that means to them)
When they build universities they build the best! Majority of them don't take loans despite having a less rigid source of income yet they complete projects in record time. Most of their 'cities' are electrified 24/7. Many of them are now building huge sustainable cities for their members.
Show me anyone in your presidency with the Adminstrative prowress of Oyedepo, or anyone in your National assembly with the Integrity of Kumuyi.
But no keep blaming churches for your troubles! Let's see where that would take you all eventually.
Congratulations to Dunamis!

In other words, this girl is saying she can easily play igbo men but it’s not easy to play Yoruba men. I perfectly understand her frustration. If you can read between the lines, you will understand that she didn’t insult Yoruba men, she’s just venting her frustrations in not being able to control, play or deceive them for long. Yoruba men always expose hoes like her. Yoruba men are bad market for street sluts and olosho girls. This is just another personal ‘Diary of frustrated runs girl playa.’ Perfect! God bless you. |

Oyerinde16: You talk from the perspective of an outsider now listen to this, Mtn paid its CCR roughly #80-90k as at 2007-2010 when it contracted it call center n some processes to a company CNSS... for 5yrs this company paid around 63-65k with 13th month d contract expired in 2015 and Mtn gave the contract to ISON BPO for 5yr from 2015-2020 they started paying 46k later recruitment paid 34k with very stringent working conditions, will Mtn claim they are not aware of the poor remuneration and working conditions of Ison staffs, is this not a deliberate effort to exploit, Ison may and cannot do more than what Mtn pays, Mtn pays the piper and dictates virtually everything that goes on in Ison bpo, there are many companies hiding under they are not our staff but working for us, who do u want to complain to when the answer you get is simply resign there are thousands looking for your job. Mtn will always hide but they at complicit and part of the matter. I will write a story soon ISON BPO and others like CNSSL bided for the contact, ISON offered a lower cost to deliver the services, if they feel human resources cost can be optimized, that is still not MTN. It is the Nigerian situation of massive unemployment that makes graduates work in call centers, it is a job meant for High school leavers. Forget sentiments, you cannot force an employer to pay more from your own perspective alone. When telecos were cutting prices of calls and other services, eventually, some cost will be optimized, that is business. And yes, people that think they deserve more should be bold enough to leave. That is the most profound statement underpaid employees can make. I am more involved than you know and still is. I am talking from a management and business owner position. Worked in telecom's sector for more than 11yrs.... There will always be perspective of employees, employers and business owners. We need to balance both. |

Oyerinde16: check my reply no where I mentioned Mtn staff, all I said is they work for Mtn via an outsourcing company, those who come to me do not enquire about my company, its Mtn products people who come don't see me as ISON BPO they see me as MTN rep, I was trained by Mtn, work with all their ACCESSES, One question I have for you is who job are we doing, MTN job outsourced out, direct Mtn staffs earn well good working conditions, while they outsourced staff are slaves, MTN knows nothing about it ryt, now they know some outsourced people working with Mtn accesses and processes are badly treated what are they doing about it or it's still not their concern, and Mtn be telling us bout information security and it an offense to give out info, I blame NLC they should have locked ISON BPO premises for 1hr and watch how MTN will go on it knees when traffic build and no one to resolve or attend to them. by d way halogen or whatever if parent company says close by 6pm n bank says close by 10pm, if parent company say sit at the gate and bank send you as errand boy in uniform using u outside your purview what do u do when no union to speak 4 u Now you are speaking some truths. MTN cannot be compelled to to alter HR policies of independent organizations that render service. What NLC should have done is shut down ISON BPO which in turns affects MTN, then MTN will be asked not to do business with organizations with low HR standards. It is that simple. NLC talked about MTN staff in all their claims, and you and I know MTN pays and treats her employees well..is that not deliberate misinformation if everyone keeps shouting MTN. In your example above, if you were been asked to do a task that is really outside your scope or overtime without compensation, that must be reported to your parent company. And by the way, MTN pays overtime for every hour worked outside normal working time. Why must MTN be in fore front of an issue that has to do with independent companies. If Julius Beger does not pay well and they are doing construction work for FG. Is it ministry of works that you will shut down or Julius berger? Are you a FG staff because all the projects you have been on in Julius Berger are FG projects? So many examples abound. The underlying issue here is Nigerians herd mentality. MTN and its staffs are not complaining and there will be no headway with companies like ISON BPO if they are not talked to directly. NLC is also eager to do this because of their own pockets. If you think they are fighting for workers right, then we are on a long thing. I can give you 1000 companies that are even worse than ISON BPO, because they bribe NLC, no one hears anything. If we want to fight for better working conditions, we must target the real culprits not the guys we think will give us more money. |

This brought me in very close relationships with staff of all the telecoms companies apart from the Nigerian one. ALL of them are talked ABOUT unwritten HR policy frowning against unionism. Oyerinde16: His wife may not directly be employed by mtn however, an outsourcing company employed you to work for mtn, you work with Mtn accesses, work on Mtn processes activate n deactivate services on Mtn lines, resolve queries on Mtn. who am I working for You are still not working for mtn. Your employment letter has nothing to do with mtn. The fact that your company renders service to mtn does not make you mtn staff. A lot of other company render outsourced service, all cannot be claiming mtn staff. Computer warehouse (CWG) is a good example. NLC should picket those companies directly not mtn. FYI, some oursourced vendors actually pay their staff better than mtn does. We need to let people know the issues correctly so a solution can be found to all anomally. Real mtn staff are not the ones complaining and this NLC needs to know. It like saying all Halogen security people we see in banks are the banks staff when we all know the banks juat approached a security company to provide a service. If Halogen is not paying well, are you going to shut down the banks or Halogen security ? |
