For me, if I would have to drink sachet water (pure water), I'd rinse the whole body first before opening. Let's say I have two; one would be for rinsing the other.

Honestly I don't see anything in couples having their own names on their properties so far it wasn't jointly purchased. So far money isn't contributed by both partners to purchase a "family property" or "joint property" I see no big deal in it.

I don't expect my husband to buy "his" properties in my name neither should my husband expect me to buy "my" properties in his name.

I put my MEN on a verrrrrry loooooooong leash to “piss around”, but when I “blow that whistle”. . . . Dog MUST enter house ke. I too love to “waka”, so wetin consine me? First to taya, please gerrrrrrAT!

I keep only very FEW male friends. I don’t keep “female friends” because I don’t do “emotional baggage”, gossip-clubs or unnecessary competition. I love to MIND my business! My eyes RARELY see tears even when in pain. With females, it is EXTREMELY difficult to find ladies who relate on the same intellectual/emotional frequency as I do. No, not talking about being superior. All about compatibility.

If you CARRY A BIBLE, KORAN or ANY FORM OF RELIGIOUS BOOK you hypocritically tout around in your life, we can’t be “friends”. I am very allergic to chauvinists, misogynists, anti-feminists and traditionalists. I only associate with FREE-THINKERS like myself.

In the final analysis, OF WHAT UTILITY-VALUE is a person or group of persons on or offline to my life that I have to care about what they think or how they feel about me?

When we first fall in love, we fall in love with the image of the person, which is 80% the making of our fantasy because we don't know know the person yet and don't have the full true picture of them. In marriage, the wives don’t have the option of withholding their monies. Especially not in our Nigeria where a greater percentage of population struggles to make ends meet.
They may not be giving it to their men in terms of “here have some pocket change”. But they are financially involved in making sure the home does not lack.
Will they regret it?
How could one regret helping feed her children, provide shelter, provide education, provide healthcare etc? You’re a parent first and making sure your family doesn’t lack brings happiness rather than regret.

Nairaland, evidently has its many benefits, however, it is addictive. It feels like there is more life vibrating on here than on the outside real world.

It's taking me much sacrifice to break free from the addictiveness of NL and WhatsApp. But, I am seeing the benefits already gradually.
