The exercise is a very key part of it, but it's only one part o. He should make sure he attends to the other key parts too, if not he'll discover at the D'day that it takes more than physical exercise. I admire their commitment to this Godly venture and hopes it turns out as expected at the end ![]() |
Actually the rate of divorce in Northern Nigeria is so high Nigeria would have been on the list above but this has balanced it out with a very low divorce rate in the Middle Belt and south. It's no surprise almost all the countries on the list are Muslim countries, cos Islamic divorce laws allows it to be done as much as possible. It's why a typical northerner might marry as many as more than 10 wives in his life time while not being married to more than 4 at a time |
Who want join military when bunkering and yahoo dey pay wella ![]() |
Exactly the way terrorists operate |

Wawelexy: ![]() Baba was a legend, his descendants said he lived this long because he was well taken care of while he did his job |
otipoju:He might enjoy some and might not enjoy some, it was actually a crime against humanity what they did to him. They treated him exactly the way you will treat your Poultry or other domestic animals for business purposes. Moreover, slaves had no choices or rights. Of course he knew what they were making him do but he had no rights whatsoever to object or resist unless he wanted to die On the whereabouts of his offspring it's been believed that his descendants make up about 30% of the inhabitants of some Brazilian communities ![]() |
GanagiBitrus:As a slave he was not entitled to any form of payment, he was just lucky that his job required that he should be strong, healthy and he might have enjoyed a lot of the times and his master didn't slack at it. He was Angolan I learnt, and as per Nigerians there are some enjoyments wey you go enjoy so tey you go tire e go come they pain you o ![]() |
jaeyking:Yes they made sure he was kept in optimum health condition, and the women were always well selected. You can say he chop better meat all his life because no be anyhow woman dem dey bring come for him to knack o . And they said he really fathered some very strong and healthy offspring fa. iT's why his oga compensated him well |
jaeyking:Well he didn't suffer physical hardships, but it was said that his masters controlled his desires such that he was required to mate not at his discretion or needs but that of his masters and that can be daunting you know. Imagine you are required to knack as work ![]() In the end it seemed he served his masters so well that he was compensated when slavery officially ended in Brazil |
The first photo is Pata Seca as a slave The second photo is Pata Seca in his old age The third photo is one of Pata Seca's granddaughters And the fourth photo has some of his descendants today in Brazil |
Slaves were known to be priced possessions of their owners who mainly were used for hard labour especially on farms and other labourous areas of enterprise. It's a known fact that slavery contributed significantly to the development of the Western nations and some of the upcoming developed countries like Brazil and the likes. While I will not waste time to take you on History class or lessons, stumbled on a name and story that looked like fiction yet a true life and historical figure in Brazil. Pata Seca was a black slave in Brazil in the late 1880s, while there are varying versions of his story and biography one thing remained constant. That Pata Seca was a slave who didn't work on any farm, factory or engaged in any hard labour through out his life but was groomed, pampered and given preferential treatment is an irony only explained by the reason for which it happened. The whole arrangement was a sinister one aimed as using Pata Seca as a breeder of slaves, just as dogs and other pet or domestic animals used to breed improved breeds, Pata Seca was the slave mater's breeding machine. His was a very tall black man, well built, athletic with big upper body and tall slender legs, it was believed then that such a person would easily produce very strong male offspring that would grow to be used on the farms. Pata Seca was made to have sex with several slave women every day with the sole aim of impregnating them to produce strong slave offspring for his slave master. It is believed that he fathered about 249 or more children during the period, that his master ensured that he was well fed, and his health and well being properly catered for so he will always be in good shape to have sex and impregnate the hundreds of equally well selected strong slave women. After the abolition of slavery, his master paid him off with a piece of land where he got married and gave birth to 9 children with his wife. he died in 1958 at the ripe age of 130 years. His descendants are still growing and can easily be found in Brazil. You can google his name to discover much more about the legend who I found also participated in the struggle for the abolition of slavery and contributed immensely to the liberalization of slaves back then. Cc; Seun Modes please kindly move this post to front page as it's also for educative purpose too.

jayAjoku:At least it's good to see you laughing instead of riling ![]() Nobody wants coup plotters or military rule, and for the records the man you love to hate never planned any coup And how is our nonsense democracy any better than the military rule. Take Buhari's rule for instance, would a military ruler not have been better than his disastrous 2 terms ![]() |
There was no way they could rig those places, and they made up for these losses by rigging the heck out of the other states If Tinubu can rig Rivers and Benue imagine what they could have done in the others especially those MW & NE states. They rigged them mercilessly |
jayAjoku:How I wish this your high level and extreme hatred can generate just a little energy enough to power your village you just might be able to receive some light to come out of your eerie dark and negative emotional incarceration. Trust me your hatred for Gowon will not remove a single strand of hair from him, unfortunately only you and your likes (in your region not all o) out of the entire world believe the nonsense theories you are peddling. Fortunately for me your insults will also not remove a single strand of hair from me, but you see ehn these your insults are actually multiplying your stress hormones which will have adverse effects on your vital organs leading to what I don't wish for you. Drop the hate and let love lead. Peace |
They could have easily held this retreat in Obudu Cattle Ranch but trust Nigerian politicians, if they don't waste money and resources they don't feel like they are governing |
I don't understand why children of perdition flooded this post to spew their hatred for Nigeria's good. Continue supporting your corrupt principals and ethnic and religious political affiliates and candidates in peace and leave those genuine humane politicians like PO that only wants the best for Nigerians which unfortunately you don't. You will rather let Nigeria rot and burst as long as it's your corrupt party and politicians are in government than for good people to govern for the betterment of all |
jayAjoku:Gowon was always a good man, use your hatred to develop your village if hatred is good. Moreover your hatred doesn't take away Gowon's goodwill globally. |
Is that the best response they could muster ![]() These polithiefcians are really vampires that thrive on sucking the blood of the masses Tufiakwa Allah wadarai |
FuckSilly:The most devilish hypocrites are the Northern Nigerian Muslims, you disrespect Christians like no one ever does and expect everyone else to respect you?! I have said before that "na see finish dey cause all these nonsense wey Muslims for North dey do" These things you are slashing your bodies about are actually the things you do most and even worse. |
Rolings:The only thing that makes Simon Ekpa relevant is the sit at home. So he pursues this project like his life depends on it |
It depends on why they're relocating back to the village to do. While so many Africans are killing themselves in the name of japa, many dieing and drowning in the process a lot of Americans especially African Americans are relocating to Africa. You may relocate back to the village to start smart farming which if managed well might turn you into a millionaire within few years of relocating. There are other thriving business opportunities in the villages that we all are refusing to see or acknowledge. If a man relocates to his village and becomes a nuisance or a burden or does nothing to better his lot, then that's what you call a failure |
Na see finish dey cause all these nonsense, the entitlement mentality of Northern Nigerian Muslims no get part 2. It's like Northern Nigerian Muslims feel they are the best Muslims in the world, cos I don't see why Muslims in other west African countries or Africa or even the entire world would not don't react to trivialities like the ones in Nigeria do. Haba na dem start Islam for the world ![]() |
Bauchi is not even a Hausa state, dem do pass themselves |

Who indebeli said the term "new cat" is derogatory, condescending or insulting ![]() As long as Davido came to limelight before Burna Boy he has the right to call him new, and I'm sure he didn't mean to sound demeaning to anyone he mentioned in the statement. He was rather acknowledging how they've come around after him and Wizkid to storm the world and doing great things. Make una chill abeg |
