Sanctions are to weaken Russia economy, a country facing attack from economy & military fonts from both her continent, UN & USA. It is a very dicey one for Russia. Putin putting nuclear weapons on alert is a sign of frustration. The war is yet to start & he is already making reference to his last resort? During the civil war, Nigeria had the support of almost all African countries & the world, yet we saw how Biafra resisted them. But in this case, it is the opposite for Russia. If it escalate more than this, they will fight this war by proxy & there is no way Russia is defeating EU, NATO & the US.

They are very good at proxy war.

@ second bold, cryptto seems to be the last hope for the average Russian right now. This is why govt hate cryptto, it is very difficult for them to control. We see the way they are placing sanctions on banks in Russia, but placing such sanctions on exchanges in Russia will seem fruitless. Alot of them still need to carry out international transactions, sending money to kids abroad, guess bitcoinn will be their best bet for now.
