. Both illegal refining and the various oil and gas flow stations accross the state, but majorly from illegal refining and our governor isn't even concerned. He is only interested in building flyovers and collecting huge cuts on inflated contracts. I thought that with the way and speed he took soldiers down to Obigbo to kill Igbos there, that he would use same energy to run the illegal bunkering criminals out of town. But no. He allowed them to continue because such will not generate much funds for private pockets. Nonsense.
stopping illegal bunkering In rivers state is like stopping drug trafficking in Mexico. The security personnels responsible in curbing bunkering are actively involved in it.

His Excellency, Gov. Wike, You can do something about this. Please do something. We do not have to wait till people start to drop dead on the road.
Horllamideh:
The FG did go hard on the illegal refiners some years back (2016/2017), both ground operations and shooting boats conveying fuel from helicopters (so many videos online) but the operation wasn't getting public support cos people felt torching illegal refineries and arresting those running it is not the way to go. Hard way is the only way in this Nigeria..... 4 years later, we are back and it's even more serious cos illegal refineries contributes 85% of these black soots if not more.
the state govt excuse is that illegal bunkering as lead to a decline of kidnapping and cult violence in rivers state

How much did they pay you for this. Maybe you all are not demanding enough.

Edited: The indigenes of port Harcourt get paid lots of money for all these pollution thing. If you are from Port Harcourt it means you've been paid a certain amount of money for this pollution.

So my question is how much did they pay you?
Were you not paid?
Did you not collect the money? Why are you now crying.

This is what i meant that you aren't demanding enough from the FG.

I forgive those who misunderstood me. I believe the op knows what I'm talking about but feigning ignorance.

This woman is lying. Why would a mother suddenly stop giving her baby breast milk when she's not sick or something. When did it become your duty to employ a nurse paying her 30k per month to take care of your employee's baby? How much were you paying your employee? By the time Nigerian police do you something, u will sing more than a bird. She never know she'll be charged with murder

These rebels look so much like south sudanese people. The Bernard levy guy is known for war journalism. The helicopter video has nothing to do with Nigeria.

wirinet:
But she went to the police after the baby dues despite how the police work. Stop defending the wayward teen. Why not ask who is responsible for her pregnancy and what about her actual family, where are they in all these. Why put the burden of feeding and caring for your baby on complete strangers who have a baby of their own?
I doubt she is even 19. She must be younger than 18.
I watched the video though..both parties are at fault.

Aguodo:
I don't just blame the Tina, I wholly blame the 19 year old fool mother of the baby. How could go to bed and sleep well for even 1 week without knowing about the welfare of your child. What does the woman tell you about your child that keeps you comfortable even without seeing your baby? Don't you have voice to shout, can't you complain to people, can't you be aggressive about It. You are just a Bleep mother. My pity is on this innocent baby that the two of you have unmatched wickedness. Goddam
she must have gone to the police, but you don't know how Nigeria police work, the stereotype surrounding Nigeria police must have giving her no hope. She has no money what do you expect.

Inside fuel depots you can also spot the "no phone" warning post. So definitely not a good idea making calls close to a leaked fuel pump. OP You can try it yourself and come back with a result.
