I dare not pack up a food she doesnt eat. Shed rather sleep off watching the plate and guarding it like her life depends on it. She wouldnt let someone else eat it either. She go cry till her eye swell. She won't eat it and won't let another have it. Unless u exchange it/with what she wants (trade by barter)

She doesn't eat spicy food so i don't offer it. On Christmas day I made fried rice and jollof and she requested for "fyied yice only" (she doesn't eat chicken or fish or egg yolk) gave her and she came back three times for more (after she had removed all the sweetcorn, liver and all) I also discovered she loves hotdogs. So I will be loading and slicing into every meal she eats.

Her garri comes with milk. In fact, she won't accept it if there's no milk. I pet her yesterday and asked her what food she likes very much and it was "fyied yice" so I guess I'll be making loads of that with plenty hot dogs from now

She usually doesn't take snacks. She's not a fan unless its ice cream and it's not all the time

Lol. These children will not kill person. My niece was like that but somehow they will be better, everything is a phase. Even my son who i used to cajole to eat, now he opens his mouth when he sees spoon. They will get better. Have you thought of healthy smoothies? Not as meals per se but to up their calorie intake. And mama, easy on the hot dogs, those things are packed with loooads of salt and preservatives. Well done

How do you know for certain that what you experienced was implantation? Based on what I've read, only a very few people experience implantation bleeding. Did you do a PT?

Good day mamas in the house, I went to circumsize my son on Saturday and the doctor said the ring will fall off between 5 and 7 days and that we shouldn't put any ointment, but to my amazement it fell off on the third day and some people suggests I should be rubbing penicillin ointment for it to heal fast, I don't know if it's safe because I noticed blood stain on it this morning

Apply penicillin generously and at intervels to enable it heal fast.

Oh no, sorry for the misinformation. I didnt look at the picture closely, i just did. There are two small buttons, one is to light up the oven as u said, the other is to light up the gas burners. Pls does your own have a temperature settings knob?

Please who is familiar with maxi cooker with oven? Which one is for grilling and which one is for baking? Cos there's one burner up and there's one down, as i indicated with the arrows

And whats the last button on the right for?

The oven is not electric , but uses fire for the burner so how do i regulate the temperature.

Top is for grilling, bottom is for baking. The button on the right is to light up the gas, instead of using a match stick or a lighter; you hold the button down, you will hear a cackling sound, then u turn your gas knob but it will be to be plugged to electricity b4 it will work. This doesnt work for the oven tho.

As per temperature, you will need to get an oven thermometer to know for sure but someome told me, she just preheats the oven on the highest, then turn it down when she is ready to grill or bake.

I'm sure it can be frozen. But i would suggest next time u put in the fridge, since you know you would be consuming the next day. How was the texture after reheating Foods can be frozen for up to a month and refrigerated up to 3days.

I use not too hot water for mine, I dissolve the milk first, then add the cereal in bits while stirring it..
And it doesn't have lumps.. The only days it has lumps is if I mistakenly pour plenty quantity at a time.

I use boiled water not hot water for cereals. I turn immediately as I pour.
I always pour the contents into an airtight container for easy use and to prevent air from entering it.

Alright. I have tried both hot and warm water, same ni. I usually mix the milk in the water first, then add d cereal and turn cos if i put milk later, it won't dissolve totally.

Not all cereal brands have cereals for 4months old. If you really want to start with cereals, ensure you get the one that's age appropriate, it will be stated for 4months. I know gerber has some. Why do you want to start cereal now?

Registering fresh,I thought kids are given immunization with a card already registered in a central register.
With your immunization card, you can be attended to in any part of country,it's just adjusting to their days or schedule.especially in govt.facilities.

Their immunization days varies,it will be stated on your card.I think you have to go and make enquiries before 24 to be on a safer side.You will have to register afresh since you didn't give birth there.I believe you won't regret registering with them though,it's a Federal government owned hospital but there facilities are second to non.Private hospital's in Abuja normally refer patients to General hospital.Don't worry you will know more about the hospital systems as time goes on.

Good day my beautiful mums and compliment of the season. My 6 months old girl has been having loose poop for over a week sometimes up to four times in a day and some times dry,I noticed her upper teeth is trying to come out.I want to know if I can give her teething drugs.
NOTE, She is not having any other symptoms except for the stooling.She is eating well,drinking a lot of water and suckling very normal.Please I need your advise as someone recommended zinc and flagyl to stop the stool.

I won't advice you to give flagyl to a 6month old. You can give zinc and ors for now. My pediatrician told me teething does not cause stooling, that babies easily ingest things due to them trying to scratch their gums with random things, hence d stooling.

Gudafternoon mama's, plz mamas,i don't understand what is wrong,.my son refuse to suck my breast for two days now, I don't know what is happening.although his take he can easily take expressed breast milk but he does not want to suck my breast.i am seriously worried cos I don't understand why he is behaving that way.plz has anybody in the house experienced it before? How old is he? You should know that some babies self wean i.e they just stop sucking breast all together.

Change the diaper.

I used molfix from birth till my boy started reacting to it. His was so bad it started turning to a gaping wound. (I had instructed the nannies to change every 1hr 30mins and it kept getting worse.

Just change the diaper first. Buy a new brand, get a small pack first and see how it goes.

I can attest to that. We have used molfix since birth, one day hubby brought one pack like that, was like handkerchief, maybe na fake sef. I used like 10 inside, if u see my boy's butt ehn, nobody told me to stop it. I ported to pampers premium and I'm loving it.

A better solution is to buy a digital temperature controller with a thermocouple, and connect it so it will regulate the oven in place of you.

It seems you can only use either up or down, going by the pic.
Cupcakes take 15mins, cakes in pans, I just wait till for about 20mins before checking it first then 5, 5 mins after.
When I used it for chicken, I didn't time it o. Just kept checking till e don. Sorry if I wasn't of much help.

Ok. Thank you very much. I'm used to my old electric oven with calibrated temperature settings and also has a timer too.

Snap the knob so we have an idea. Mine doesn't have temperature written. I put it in highest to heat up and take it to midway for baking.
Mine is both electric and gas so for drying meat, I put on both so it's faster.
