If you can try to find extra motivation, complete your study. Just to make your mum happy. Don't worry about the grades. Find two good guys in your class that could motivate you and help with some assignments. Appreciate those guys once in a while by giving them gifts. To be honest, your parents are just typical Nigerian Parents. They won't understand why you needed to drop out.

Some guys are just not made for a structured academic system; go to class, write exams, etc. Like myself, I performed better when I am not under pressure of any exams or tests. I enjoy the pressure I put on myself.
