I am being candid, I have no reason to lie I tell you. I did narrate the story of me approaching a dangerously handsome American guy a couple of years back and did say I would approach a guy if I saw one that seemed "worthy", I really wanted to know what guys here think of being approached because we know NL is a different world,

Old topic but I will add my 2 cents anyway,

I don't see anything wrong with marrying a man with a child, whether I have one or not, there are a lot of blended families with the high rate of divorce going on nowadays, surely that does not mean the divorced partners do not deserve a second chance at love, surely! Is a young widow expected to go through life alone just because her husband died too young? That does not sound fair to me at all!

I will not even look in the direction of a man who does not like my child but claims to love me, how can he love me and not love what I come with, my blood, my child

But check this out; People upgrade all the time, but there are qualities that one can't possess, no matter what. If I see those rare qualities in any lady, no matter her social status, then I'm not letting go, well that's just me.

I am with you on people upgrading all the time so I will not rule anyone out but let's not be planets apart, to me that is a recipe for disaster right from the beginning, not to say stranger things haven't happened!

A vivid pic of a haenna mounting a lion comes to mind but it is true what you said, some guys are chancers of note, unbelievable! I currently have a guy at the traffic lights calling me all sorts of names (sweet ones) selling fruit thinking he and I can actually be an item, he wants my number and wants to come to my place, Dude is cool though, just not enough to be my man!

@ Rheinmetal - I personally wouldn't step up to a guy I didn't think I had a chance of attracting or captivating for at least 5 mins, if dude is out of my league, I would admire and move along, on the flip side, why do some guys think they can get any chick they want even when it is evident the two are worlds apart? I can never get that!

Broke men make things a little difficult but is nice for a woman to also work for herself so whatever she gets from her man is just to add on to what she already has, not expecting the man to do it ALL because then she becomes a BURDEN!
