There no is particular range for biochemistry graduates. It all depends on where you work. For you to get a good job with biochemisty, u most graduate with a good grade then polish your mathematical skills and presentation skills. With that you can go for any kind of firm, from oil n gas to maanufauturing firm to pharmaceutical firms.

I work with the lagest FMCG company in the country n with my degree in biochemisty, my pay at entry level was 6.0M/annum.

Please this is not to brag but to encourage the biochemstry students out there. I was really discouraged as a student.

Is not by those criteria you mentioned, Prostitution is an illegal business in Nigeria. Not being born with a silver spoon is no enough reasoon to take to crime. We all do have choices and the consequences of the choices we make, we are bound to bear.

In line of professionalism, when you're paid to do a particular job, it should not go beyond what you were paid to do. Because you're paid to serve as a secretary or Lawyer to a coy does not give the boss the impetus to ask you to clean his office or wash some things. WTF, like seriously, what are the cleaners paid to do?? In that wise, you can tell him that's not your job. If he fires you, there's a remedy in the court of law.

A subordinate once told me that, I did the job myself and when it came for outplacement, he was the first I pencilled down his name. He is the only person I ever sacked without feeling bad about it. My point is, there are better ways to present a matter.

From what I gathered from your post, you challenge is not the CV or cover letter, so on line application works. You challenge lies in getting hired after an interview. What you need do is keep polishing your presentation skills, read books about leadership, read books on management and place you self in that light. When you are being interviewed, be bold to present your self as the best man for the Job. Above all, prayerfully prepare for interviews and learn from all your previous unsuccessful interviews.
