I guess GEJ told OBJ to field Yaradua, a sick man. Perhaps, GEJ told US to start shale oil drilling.

Putin is good luck in Russia even with junk rubble and battered economy but GEJ is bad luck in Nigeria, tell me more.

Anyways, if Mbaka wants to be in bed with born-to-rule terror inclined jihadists who promised anarchy in 2011 and promptly delivered on their threat, he's welcomed to it. As for people like us this whole issue is already closed. Come Feb 14 Buhari, born-to-rule ideology will receive the final nail on its coffin and will forever remain dead and buried. The time for online gragra is long gone, this time is for men who have balls, resource, and the will to deploy them no matter who lives or dies. 2015 election isn't about the masses or the Nigerian nation, it's about interests. Therefore, whoever throws his hat in the ring must know he's not leaving the fight looking all nice and pretty. For the first time in a long time in this nation, Fulani supremacy and invincibility will be viciously and uncompromisingly tested to the full limit and if the nation breaks or buckles under pressure, it only means the nation is not meant to be. I urge folks who share similar belief to vote their conscience and leave the rest of the battle -this jig is already up.

The era of docility is over.

From the beginning I knew the war on BH was an unwinnable messy war. We all need to go back and read what prominent northerners said at the beginning of this war to understand why Nigeria's effort against BH is a waste of time and valuable resource.

Oh oh Sorry, buhari would have lost before my Orlando rendezvous.

Lol! Your nemesis is here, right? Nope! I have no time to spend on this Ihejirika issue. The general is doing his thing so let jokers have their field-day.

Ihejirika is a clown. If he is clean he should go to Australia and file his lawsuit there.

I suppose that is out of the question because of fear of the Hague.

With people like you I'm now certain that Arewa will never get it together.

Talk of chasing elusive mice while the roof is smoking.

Ihejirika should have sue for slander not libel, since the focus is on the broadcasting. The "lawyers" shld've known better, but they are probably nigerian trained, nobody in the world recognised the so called SAN or nigerian legal education. This Ibo bigot, that only promote his Ibo brothers in the army, just want money or try to make u think he is not culpable. I do not know the details, but he should have go to Australia to ask for relief. While jurisdiction make have long harm, but safe us the headache, go to Australia to file your case.

The post above is a typical example of what happens when students spend all week on facebook and Yahoo Entertainment News listening to Kanye West and checking out Kim Kardashian. They spend 4 years, 4 'facebook' years to be precise, in worthless high institutions after which they use their poor 'papa and mama' subsidized bandwidth to discuss legal technicalities here on NL. I'm wondering how folks actually discuss complex legal issues but can't correctly string two words together.

It's not like fellas were discussing ebola virus - I mean, if NLers were discussing a life or death situation perhaps we could look at the unfolding catastrophe and excuse the epic gibberish above based on the need to be heard.

I believe I'm not the only one who got stuck trying to understand what the writer was conveying.
Please folks, no one said all posts on NL must be in English. If you can't put your opinion across in English please do so in pidgin or in any of our beautiful Nigerian languages. But if you believe writing in English is non-negotiable then at the very least go to school and, for the most part, lay off facebook until you're done.

What exactly is South-South?

Is it the same people who are butchering themselves over the ownership of a small landmass called warri?

Ijaws despise Itsekiri, Isoko won't ever agree with Urhobo, Opobo curses the day he ended up on the same rock as Ikwerre.

You so called South-south people are clowns that can't even accept each other but are always quick to declare yourselves unique by mouthing off South-South at any given opportunity.

While I do not really care about the Biafran project until those who champion it's course become learned and intellectual lot who are quite versed in international laws of creating a nation and not okada riders and traders, I believe if it ever came to pass, the so called South-south would finish each other off due to the amount of animosity they harbour for each other prior to any phantom, dreaded Igbo group dominating them.

Igbos have been the most stable folk in this Nigerian entity for generations who have never waged war against each other even when the collective nationalism was non-existent and when Igbo groups lived autonomously and independent of each other and I do not see that changing.

One thing is certain, with the advance of the Hausa-Fulani onslaught coming, which has already begun, Igbos might end up being the last bastion of hope and defence for most of these smaller southern tribes that naively believe oil resources have suddenly made them political and ethnic juggernauts.

That is why I have totally become indifferent to this unanimous support of Jonathan by Igbos. I somehow secretly wish that the Coup-plotting, democracy-robbing Islamist win the upcoming polls so that this so called south-south would witness first hand their fate.

I want to respond to two issues you brought up. I'm constrained to state a few things regarding the caliber of people involved in Biafran project. One thing I can guarantee you is that the caliber of Igbos who're completely fed up with Nigeria, whose only hope for a true and working nation is Biafra, will surprise you. One thing for sure is that there's no huge single United body or organization working for the project, it's more like different cells using different ways and means to organize and work for the same goal. If you're nwafor living in the US and you seriously and genuinely want to know what's going on then you know what to do.

Just to give you a little lowdown, I stayed for 4 yrs in a school in the US without any idea that my right hand buddy who was working for Intel and at same time finishing his PhD in ECE department was neck deep in Biafran project. It was when I did a research on neuromorphic silicon with him that I got to find out how much involved the dude was. And guess what - he was not even born in Nigeria. His father escaped Nigeria's genocide to the US and gave the dude all the info. I guess that's enough for now.

At any rate don't let okada riders fool you. The so called okada riders are in a world of their own. Even uwazurike today can't completely tell the source of his organization's finance. Let fellas who want to run their mouths continue. One thing our people must realize is that we're surrounded by sharks and cunning wolves hence the need to be circumspect, vigilant, and more cunning. If you haven't read the art of war please do so.

The second is about Buhari. Quite frankly I'm beginning to consider switching my support from GEJ to GMB given the points you illuminated. Perhaps I need to sleep over it as well as digest it with some peeps. GEJ is a brother somehow but at this point it's seems like sacrificing him will worth more than saving him.

Then leave and stop forcing others to leave with you then.

Can't you see that with your mentality that you'd be worse than Nigeria? undecided

In your haste to sound intelligent you forgot that no one asked you to 'leave' with them. Did Biafra ask you to join?
Don't run your BP high on issues that have no need for you.

Those who're patriotic to Biafra are passionate and genuine lovers of their nation. If only half the number of you guys daily bashing Biafra have a tenth of Biafrans' passion and patriotism for your failed 'One Nigeria' - how great Nigeria would have been. But you fellas don't have it and as such have resorted to unwarranted hate on a another man's project.

If anyone needs a reason for Nigeria's emptiness today is his day.

This same greed was the main Achilles heels of Biafra.

You annexed the lands belonging to the minority people and you call them Biafrans - I'm even shocked that this same generation are hell bent on making the same mistake all over again with reckless abandon and foolish bravado. If they so much want to emancipate themselves from the one Nigeria project why don't just go alone or ask other ethnic minority groups if they have an interest instead of trying to force them to become united with you at all cost.
Unity by force is robbery

In other words you agree that our presence in Nigeria is a brazen robbery?

Okay I get you. If you will understand my position, I am in 100% support of self determination. I believe that any group or tribe that wishes to form a union shouldn't be stopped or discouraged. I recognise the Igbo-Ibibio/Annang etc relationship. I can only talk for Ijaw while the others make their decision. I believe you guys will do excellently and I wish you the best

Good luck in wherever you choose to be - Ijaw republic or Nigeria.

LogicPower:

1. These your emotional outbursts and misfiring of so many irrelevant points do not, in any way, contradict any of the main points of my post, hence strictly speaking, and purely in logical terms, there is no argument between you and me.

2. For instance, whether you, or anybody for that matter, cares or not about the Nigerian project does not in any way affect the validity of my observation, which is: the dual-track approach by the Igbos whereby they want to be part of Nigeria and at the same time they are seen as pursuing their Biafran secessionist agenda, is liable to be interpreted by OTHER NIGERIANS as indicating their (Igbos') lack of commitment to the Nigerian state. And whether it is a good thing or not does not matter here.

3. Again in purely logical terms, whether Nigeria will last forever or collapse tomorrow, and whether or not the county as presently constituted is good and fair to all, or any or none; and whether any, all or none of the constituting units is happy and willing to be part of it or not, does not affect the validity of my point that by pursuing the Nigerian and Biafran tracks simultaneously, the Igbos open themselves to the perception that they are not committed to the state of Nigeria.

4. All the other unrelated points you brought in, such as your reference to Shekau's parents, do not even make enough sense to merit a response. If anything, they only point to the extent of the logical incoherence of your post.

I have seen better blackmails than your initial post. You got more than appropriate response from the dose I administered to you, to which you termed 'emotional outburst.'

First off, you're not part of Biafra, so cut this intellectual sleight of hand each and every genocidal-minded hater of Biafra deploys when discussing Igbo or Biafra issues. It's only a fool that'll appreciate, and take kindly too, the children of men who murdered and aborted the will of millions of people for no other crime than their gumption to seek separation from rogue vipers. You see, I'm not sure you get it. I'm not sure most of you understand we don't need your backstabbing lectures. My rule of thumb is simple: never discuss others' businesses.

I do not pretend to know better than Ijaw or Yoruba in their individual or nationhood journeys in Nigeria. I do not care if they stay or leave the union and you should do so instead of poking your nose in Biafra's journey - a journey that has absolutely no interest whatsoever in you. So, you see, I have no interest in whether my response is emotional outburst or not, and quite frankly what do you expect after your fathers joined an unholy alliance that saw to the elimination of 20% of Igbos? Do you people actually realize 20% of my kinsmen went six feet under - most of whom were between the ages of 0 to 15? And I'm supposed to be your funny man? Call it outburst, trivialize it as much as you want to, it's your business not mine. As long as I'm breathing and as long as I'm concerned I shall not discuss Biafra with any man whose father joined in the killing frenzy of my brothers, sisters, parents, and uncles - they can keep their tainted logic. I admit you sound coherent but I believe it would do you more good to deploy and confine your coherence in non-Biafran matters. Leave Biafra for Biafrans.

You fellas want One Nigeria right? Enjoy!
