To all the people that have lost their hybrid so sorry to hear this, I remember not long ago we discussed this predicament and what will be the way forward....is axpert clone brand not solid enough.

Don't scare people off tubular batteries maintenance is a breeze. What is difficult in adding distilled water once a while. It is not has if you are boling egg or yam that the whole distilled water will disappear

Tubular is great, indians get sense.when buying tubular buy the ones that each cells has a floating guage, always check the guage. you don't top up tubular everytime you are not boling egg.
Besides the only time you bring your batteries to near boil is during equalization, which is according to your battery spec. Some is monthly, others every 3 months.

And distilled water no cost.

alright then switch leave the old bank with day time and new bank with night time. temporary. your panels can only delay or postpone judgement day. eventually the whole bank will need to be changed .

then don't mix the old batteries with the new ones. when you mix such, the old batteries pull down the new ones to their weak state. get a different battery bank if you can make it bigger than the old one. use the new one for day time loads tv fridge.while old one for night time (low watts fan)...

plan b better option, you did not state how long you been using the existing banks. don't mix old batteries with new batteries. recipe for disaster.
design a different bank and enjoy, I have similar setups multiple banks. day time load is on the bigger bank. by 10pm I switch to another bank till morning.. you eventually don't on genetors for months and your nepa bill is less.

It's a storey building, the CC and batteries are on the ground floor and panels on the roof. Distance between panel and CC can be around 8 mtrs not sure though

Before you do 4s2p on your panels, how many volts are the panels itself. If it is 24volts each don't do 4s2p, you will end up frying your cc . I think your cc is capped at 150v.

Two hours can never charge a lead-acid battery enough.
If you set your charging current too high to refill the battery in time, you'll kill it.
If you set it at optimum charging current, it won't even be half filled.

What you stated is not what the man has now, I also did not have the experience then. .what I always advice people always have a minimum of 2 battery banks. Whether the banks is massive or not. It pays to invest in multiple banks.

He should get a very good or big amp external charger to assist his inverter or say bye bye in a short while.

According to my knowledge
Charging large amount of batteries of higher amp will not cause any harm to the charger.
Charging 1000amp with a 30amp for example will only take a longer period of time to full charge if it sees regular supply of power supply without connecting load to it. Most connect load to it after few hours of charging, thereby depleting the already stored current.

Am current Charging 600amp with two chargers. But d client mostly discharge dem few hours later.

To get best results, charge without depletion
Wait till it full charges.

When the batteries are that big the inverter will output all the amps at a regular basis, just to make the batteries happy. But the inverter cannot make the batteries happy. Inverters do pack up if overworked. I have lost similar batteries in such situations.. I started solar journey with 2v500amps 6 units and a 1.2kva inverter that alone will never charge the batteries full. Even the installer brought a small external charger lost those batteries within 2 years painful... the charger first pack up, then inverter.

Like was said earlier the inverters is grossly inadequate to charge those batteries, and external charger added to the inverter will reduce the charging time because utility light is limited.

Also your new 12v inverter can you confirm amperage it pushes out to your batteries, try and get a gclamp this will give amperes that enter your battery whether it is sufficient to charge your batteries when there is utility...
