Declaring her intention yesterday to dump her former party, Olubukola said, the Atiku/Okowa Campaign for the realization of 2023 presidency is a must achieved, warning Nigerians not to be swayed by empty promises from politicians who believed the number one seat in Nigeria is a souvenir they can take turn to get even in the face of what she called monumental failure of the present Federal Government in addressing the primary purpose of governance.

South-West based socio-political group, Afenifere, has refuted claims that it endorsed former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu or any aspirant for the 2023 presidential election.
African examiner reports that the leader of South West Agenda, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, in a statement on Monday stated that the group had endorsed the candidate of the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during a visit to Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
However, Afenifere in a statement by its Director of Communications, Sola Lawal on Monday refuted endorsing any candidate.
According to Lawal, the group is still mourning the death of its Publicity Secretary, Yinka Odumakin, saying that all engagements were also suspended in honour of the deceased”.
He stated that 96-year-old Pa Fasoranti had taken a “deserved rest when he formally handed over to Chief Ayo Adebanjo and the former couldn’t have spoken for Afenifere during their visit to his Akure home.

felixawe: A lottery company, Green Lotto, has explained its decision not to pay one Sunday Nwachukwu his winning claim of N72.7 million after playing one of its games.
The lottery firm said the decision was hinged on the fact that the claimant allegedly engaged in irregularities, hence he does not deserve the money in question, adding that the matter was already before a court of law, hence it will not join issues with Nwachukwu.
It would be recalled that Green Lotto was dragged before the Lagos State High Court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square over its refusal to pay Nwachukwu his winning sum of N72,200,000.
Green Lotto is organised by a company, Brentwood Multiservices Global Limited based in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The complainant, who testified before Justice Modupe Nicol-Clay, last Thursday, told the court that on January 29, 2021, he played a game with N330,000 and when the result came out, he won the game, but the defendants refused to pay him the winning sum.
But, reacting to the accusation of Nwachukwu yesterday, the management of Green Lotto in a statement by its Head, Brand and Marketing Communications, Imoudu Asekhame, said the company does not pay fraudulent winners or encourage cheating and fraud in gaming.

There’s a very unfair reality we men live in, we are expected to be superheroes. joy4news: A support group under the aegis of Kosofe Collabo for Obi-Datti has launched a door-to-door campaign for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
The group’s coordinator, John Nnorom disclosed this during the inauguration of Kosofe Labour Party executives last weekend.
Kosofe Collabo is the umbrella of members of the Labour Party in Kosofe rooting for Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti as the next president and vice president of Nigeria in 2023.
Nnorom, who spoke to journalists shortly after the event, said the group adopted a door-to-door campaign strategy for effective results.
