His unwillingness to act, his indecisiveness in the most critical moments of his presidency, are the main reasons why we are where we are today!

Jonathan didn't want anyone to die because of his political ambitions. So he surrendered the presidency to a bloodthirsty mujahideen. How many people have now died across the country as a result?

Wouldn't it have been better if he put his feet down and saved the country from the spiraling choas called Buharis presidency!?

A member of Yoruba Nation was abducted yesterday during a meeting, by the military and the Customs.

Members of the group have threatened to kill any military personnel if the abducted member is not released today unhurt.

The group, through their YouTube channel, Koiki Media, anchored by Mr. Koiki, warns that there would be consequences if the member is not released within 48 hours. He also calls on the state governor, Sanwoolu, to call the military to order and release the abducted member immediately.

The Department of State Security, DSS in collaboration with US soldiers have uncovered boxes of explosives, two pistols in an apartment rented by a terrorist in Trademore Estate located in Lugbe, Abuja.

The ASUU President, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke had in a recent interview noted that the lecturers had called off their action and returned to work but were challenged by the nonpayment of their eight months salaries which had posed a huge challenge for the lecturers to meet their daily needs and be able to discharge their responsibilities to the returning university students.

Mr. Odiir said the returning lecturers might not give their best because of the obvious challenge of lack of funds, “and that means that the universities would be reopened but teaching and learning might not take place because the lecturers are not motivated.


“So we are appealing to the Federal Government to fulfill its part of the bargain to effect the payment of the salaries of the returning lecturers to enable them fully resume work.

“There is no doubt that the lecturers would obey the court ruling and resume classes but they would certainly not be able to engage in lecturing if they don’t start getting their eight months salaries.


“That is why the Federal Government should pay them without further delay in the spirit of the agreement brokered by the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“We also appeal to the Speaker to do a follow up to the good work he initiated to have the lecturers call off the action by impressing on all the relevant authorities to have the salaries paid so that our public universities can roar back to life.

The coordinator, Northern Awareness Movement (NAM), Muhammed Inuwa, has berated the unrelenting verbal attacks on the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, by the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, describing his attacks as smear campaign against the entire Northern region of the country.



Inuwa, in a statement he signed Thursday in Abuja, reacting to the uncontrollable attacks of Wike against Atiku said that it has become imperative to call governor Wike to order and call his bluff before he sets the entire country on fire with his verbal diarrhoea.



Recall that the crisis started as a result of Wike’s failure to secure the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket. Efforts to pacify Wike’s camp has since been met with stiff resistance.



Muhammed Inuwa noted that since all attempts to pacify Wike and his camp has not been reciprocated, it is now important to note that there is an undertone to the whole cries.



“We have gotten credible intelligence that the entire crises is targeted at a particular section of the country, which is the North.



“We have it on good authority and evidences abounds with facts and figures at various times that Wike and his men have gone to press to disparage the North.



“We hereby conclude, without any iota of doubt, that Wike and his group have drawn the battle line with the North. The Northern Awareness Movement hereby call on every well-meaning and patriotic citizen of this country to prevail on Wike to put a stop to any attempt to undermine the North” Muhammed Inuwa said.



The group has equally made it clear that the Northern Awareness Movement and other sister Arewa groups will not hesitate to treat Wike and his cohorts as an enemy of the North, if they persist with their constant attack on the region.
