Bronzedigger: Good day house and all the gurus.. please I need enlightenment on this issue... I am currently in Nigeria and hoping to relocate to the UK God's willing next year.. I came across a youtube channel on study and work abroad wherein I contacted the owner and the he told me its possible to take masters in SOCIAL WORK as it has lots of opportunities or the PRE REGISTRATION MASTERS in Nursing programme with specialtyin mental health and after which I can get a job very easily even when my first degree is not in nursing... I currently have a BSC in mechanical engineering... how feasible is this considering I will be switching field and I starting a new career in a country I've never had any form of experience...... what are the factors to consider, school to apply, cost of programme and building professional work experience if I intend to go through this path.. I need advice as well as suggestions... GURUS IN D HOUSE, DOCTORS, NURSES.. your inestimable response is highly very needed... Thanks in anticipation Engineering is also on the shortage list. Why don’t you just further your education in that instead? |

faithugo64: IELTS academic I know it is academic. There’s a normal IELTS and there’s one called IELTS for UKVI (which is not done at all IELTS centres in Nigeria). That’s what I’m asking about. |

icon8: Double your hustle, bro. That is the poverty mentality in you speaking. If God blesses your hustle, taking a very good care of your 2 children won’t seem a DIE affair to you, with or without a wife. What does it cost to properly raise a child in the UK per annum? Is that worth sacrificing one’s life or peace of mind over? If you double your hustle, the child support also doubles. No winning . |

Hi everyone, please I have a question on behalf of a family member in Nigeria wanting to immigrate to the UK as a nurse. Is the IELTS required for this journey the UKVI IELTS or the normal one is just fine? |

Lexusgs430: Are funds already invested or on etoro debit card ..........
What happened to your salary account..........
Is your salary account overdrawn ............
An account balance of £1,000,000, is not required to proof funds ........
Running the account on usual activities + a positive balance, is more important than silver or gold ...... Wawu. You asked me so many questions without answering the one question I asked . But the funds are mostly invested. |

Hi everyone… please I have a question. Can statement from eToro be submitted as proof of funds to the British embassy when sponsoring someone’s trip from Nigeria? That’s practically where all my money is being housed right now. Only self-sustenance funds stay in my savings account. |

Pls has anyone experienced this before in Chester or elsewhere Let the university know about your situation, they are in the best position to answer you. Vooom: MY people good evening.
Please I need suggestions. I am a Nurse in the NHS currently on a long duration online Masters
I need ideas on other organizations I could fit into The NHS is not giving me the much desired happiness and sense of satisfaction
Looking towards NON CLINICAL job roles where i could still get a Tier 2 sponsorship
I do not mind having to do some training just to fit in better
Ideas and suggestions would be appreciated Hello! If you don’t mind, can you please give first hand experience of what you feel? I have a family member who is a nurse and just started the process to immigrate to the UK. Would be nice to hear the “dark side” of things in NHS. |

TheGuyFromHR: If I remember clearly, the only way to send money from a naira account outside the country as an individual is when the transaction is within the permitted categories - paying for tangible goods (imports) and services (medical bills, school fees/support), and repatriation of proceeds for multinationals, foreign portfolio investors and I think diplomats.
It's been a while since I was up to speed with all that, but I think that as an individual you can't receive foreign exchange at official rates for remittance outside Nigeria outside the permitted categories and will have to use the domiciliary account/informal process. The rule has gotten relaxed and now there’s a wide range of categories bank would grant a transfer for. Read about it several weeks back - now you can get FX for a lot of so many other legitimate reasons. If I find the link again, I’d share it here. |

NomzyJust: Why not get someone here that will sell pounds to you and you give naira. Omopapa and mamatukwas are here. Speak to them. Why would he choose to sell his naira on the black market though, when he seems to have an option that would give him official rate? Just saying… |

My account officer mentioned something about international funds transfer but does not know the specific exchange rate until the transaction is done. Has anyone tried this or knows any method? Any transfer processed by your bank would use a rate similar to that of CBN |

humblemoi: Hello all. I’m just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation as we’re trying to find some more information about this. My wife who is a British citizen and also holds a Nigerian passport has now changed her name to her married name on her Nigerian passport. She has an indefinite leave visa which is still in her maiden name. Does anyone know if she needs to get the name on the visa changed before she can change the name on her British passport to her married name? She found information that she needed to change the name on her Nigerian passport first before the British one which is what we’ve done but we’re struggling to find anything about the indefinite leave visa. Thank you all for your help in advance. Wetin concern British citizen with ILR? If she is already a citizen, the job of her previous ILR visa is done and that document is no longer relevant na. |

KOVIC19COVID20: Flying from London Heathrow to Abuja, Nigeria.
1. Pre -Departure PCR test (less than 72 hours): Check
2. Bags packed. Passports Ready. Chocolates purchased. Check.
Please, anyone with a very recent experience of travelling INTO Nigeria? Am I expected to book and pay for a PCR CoViD test in Nigeria before departure? If yes. How May I go about it please? I seem to have lost my way trying to get the required information. This is kinda urgent, please. Yes. You won’t be allowed to board if you don’t have it. The guide on how to go about it is in the pop up you’ll see when you get on NCDC COVID-19 portal: https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/Try to get this sorted as soon as possible, because there’s been several complaints that the online payment can take too long to reflect. |

icon8: It’s a thing for some. It’s okay to have a different lived experience. The same way you think peeing in the open is not a thing is the same way others would see eating with fingers as barbaric. It’s all about life experiences - and they vary. I was only saying you all should cut the poor man some slack. Peeing in the open was commonplace growing up in Nigeria - maybe not all parts, but it’s not unheard of like your reactions to his post suggested. Besides, he only misses his old life, which is acceptable. He however should not attempt it in this day, age, and environment. False equivalence. Eating with your hands affects no one. It’s your personal business and shouldn’t be anybody’s headache. Peeing in public on the other hand affects others in several ways, and it causes actual consequences to the public and the environment. |

I’m looking for someone here because of trust issues. Just being careful if you understand. I also have a Dorm account in Nigeria but that still not possible as only account owner can deposit into it and transfer isn’t allowed. Go to bank ATMs (bank ATMs because there are no fees) and use your dom ATM card to withdraw the amount you want. Simple and easy. You can also use your dom atm card to pay for things anywhere in the UK. |

Ogilinsaka: I've always wanted to ask this: I have never seen governors, senators or top individuals at the embassy doing biometrics. How do they go about it. Or are they exempted from biometrics? Please answer. Thanks
Cc justwise please help me with this question. Thanks I’ve seen lil kesh before at Canadian embassy. He walked pass the crowd in the main hall, along with his team clearing the way, and was led to a separate room. He never came out until I left, so I suppose he still followed the regular queue, just in a VIP section or something. I would imagine the same for other top people. However, a lot of top individuals already bought a second passport, so they mostly don’t have to apply for visas. Also, diplomatic passports for office holders, give visa-free privilege for many countries, many other countries also allow for online application or other VIP pecks like that for diplomatic passports. |

I asked because new arrivals are meant to be in quarantine...I understand the used test kits are to be submitted to either post offices or authorized courier agents of the test companies... Thanks in advance You drop them in the red priority boxes on the streets. All the instructions you need are included in the testing package. |

JIREN01: Please; can someone live on 500 pounds monthly in the UK as a student? If you're single and studying far from London, yes. I spend less than that. My rent is 350, and I spend around 80 pounds on groceries. I don't do any other major spending outside those two things. |

Lexusgs430: For us stock, etoro is very good......
Revolut, does not warehouse all US stock......
Stake, is also good for us stock. But funding stake (without premium level). It takes between 24/48 hours for funds reflecting....
With stake, if you use my referral code..... We both get a free share.... I love stake, because you just buy shares and warehouse, and watch them grow ..... https://hellostake.com/referral-program?referrer=oyedejij225
With etoro, once you fund your account, funds are available immediately to trade. You can also copy trades from experts...... Thank you bros! I will use your referrer code if I settle with stake . One more thing, do these platforms function like real stock markets? For example, do you receive dividends periodically, etc? And what do you mean by warehousing shares on stake? It doesn't allow one to trade or what? |
