Ocoraj:
Goodafternoon guys, please I have a question, just want to be sure. Am about to start my 28days statement. On my passport my name's are arranged lemme say A B C, A been my surname, B and C been My given names. But my bank account, the account name is A C B.
Pls note......B is my first name and C my other name.
So my question is does the arrangement pattern of names on my passport and Bank account matter, even though all the names appear in both?
Thanks for your prompt replies
It doesn’t matter. I used three bank accounts, and all three arranged my names differently. Even the third one only wrote the initial of my middle name. As long as there are no misspellings, arrangement of names typically don’t matter.

For those who keep asking about COVID labs, here are NCDC-approved labs that you can take your tests from.

Government labs: https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/laboratory/
Private labs: https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/privatelabs/
Corporate labs (owned by multinational businesses): https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/corporatelabs/

It's important to note that you're most definitely not going to get your result within 72 hours in government labs (even though they are free), they take up to 5 days to release results. So you're better off with the two other options... unless, of course you have connection in the government labs to get you your result on time.

Guys... please use NCDC approved labs to do your COVID tests. Do it and get your certificate. This is so straightforward, I don't know why anyone would choose to be buying test certificates at the airport. I heard around 500 students were deported from UK over the weekend because of fake covid test certificates. Nawa.

Yes, I think? I have attached a portion of my application form. Kindly assist me if there is an issue. Below is the fee for better understanding

My total tuition is £24,300
My discounted tuition is £17,300
I have paid £7,600
Balance is £9,700
Ah. This must have been where the confusion came from. You should have written your total fees as the amount that remains after the deduction of the discount. At least that's how I wrote mine. Still pursue the admin review if you have time though. What you wrote isn't wrong afterall. The visa officer just didn't take his time to properly assess your application.

Dear Nairalanders,

I need your urgent advice. I did my biometrics on 1st Feb and paid for a priority service. On the 4th of Feb, I got a mail that my student visa application has been refused. The reason stated was that I did not provide sufficient funds as my total fees (tuition and living) is £25k and I provided £19k. Immediately I realised that the difference is my tuition discount (7k scholarship). This scholarship was stated on my CAS and I am disappointed that my application was refused.

I am eligible for an application review. I have done that (Feb5) pointing out the issue backed with additional evidence. I have followed the thread and realised that the review can take up to 3months which gets me upset the more. My question is, will my priority service be considered for the review. Also, I have not gotten a mail to pick up my passport. Will I be contacted for it or until after the review?
These guys are starting to become grossly incompetent. Errors and mistakes everywhere! What's all these na? Ah!

Yes. Hope it makes sense now or do I need to buttress ?

It’s PTA for my mum...
Why don't you just let your mum land in the UK and then you can give her the money physically... instead of this money changing gymnastics? Well... the deed is already done sha.

That's why I'm get an income call log history attached with my review and the emails I have made, this not my fault and knowing it's Nigeria he should have at least try to contact me by email, they made a mistake with time but I corrected them days before the interview, I mailed 3 hours after I didn't get the call I expected them to mail saying we could get to you provide a new details I guess, but I guess the escalation I made spooked him or her up with the letter, I'm just confused and sad
First of all... don’t admit fault to yourself or “Nigerian network provider”. The fault might as well be from UKVI or their own network. It might even be that they were calling the wrong number (there’s a situation I know where this was the case). You didn’t get the call, period! That’s as much as you know. Attach your official call history to buttress it (you can request this from your network provider, like bank statement).

You shouldn’t take the fall for anything that isn’t your fault. Apply for administrative review if you have time. Remember again, never admit fault or blame it on anything you don’t know about. Don’t assume any Nigerian situation caused it. Just affirm on what you’re sure of... which is YOU DIDN’T GET ANY CALLS. Explanation on why that is the case is not your business.

Dear guys,

I just got wedded last year December. Is it advisable to declare marriage status while applying for my visa because, am only going for a BSc top up course.

If i state been married as any effect?

Advice please.
So if marriage has an effect, what would you do? Lie that you’re not married? This shouldn’t be a question, fill your forms truthfully. That should be the ideal. Don’t complicate simple things for yourself.

Leave your money with zenith. CBN just issued funds for form A. So they’d treat your request soon.

Thank you for your response. I was thinking the UKVI might want to call to confirm if the money is still in the account. I just want to be careful so I don't mess things up.
Well if they do, they’d also see on your CAS database that you’ve paid additional tuition that is equivalent to what’s missing in your account.

Good afternoon,

Please I have a question.

After making payment for my IHS and Visa Payment, I discovered I put my *Given Names* as Family Name and *Family Name* as Given Name.

I input my Wife and Child names correctly as expected except for my own.

I cannot edit the info again at this stage and I want ask if I can go ahead with this particular application or I am expected to fill another new application to avoid any issue for my Wife and Child whenever they will applying to come and join me.
Tell them on biometric day and they’d fix it for you.

Good morning Gurus in the house.

Please who has paid school fees with form A recently or versed in this area that can recommend a reliable and quick bank where my brother can apply. Thanks
Go to the bank first thing tomorrow (any bank) and get it done. I’m saying this cos my account officer notified me on Friday that CBN has released funds for Form A. So better go grab before it finishes again.

Good morning gurus in the house, I want to apply for MSc at the University of Chester for September intake. I would really appreciate if anybody can give me highlightts about the school, how organised and fast their processing is and their relationship with their future students etc. Thanks
It’s not an organized school. You’d even thank your stars, if you ever get a feedback on your application. I’d say apply (It’s free afterall), but apply to other schools as well so you won’t waste your time.

Keystone (4 - 5 days), Sterling (5-6 days), eco bank (7 days) and standard chartered (3-4 days).
From personal experience o,up to 30th December. Don't have an idea what's the current situation now.
Thank you! These correspond with the estimate I'm being given at stanbic. I guess I might as well just follow through with that, if this is the general timeline.

SeunOL:
I don’t know of other banks but sterling is 48hours, cause I paid mine with them, and I’ll advice you to go to their head office I think it’s at Maryland.
Please when did you make this payment? This January?
