You're a criminal, a petty thief to be precise.

Don't worry, I will contact you and get the necessary agencies to track you and your cohorts down. You and your accomplices within CAC and Ministry of Trade and Investment will be fished out. You can bet on it.

Ordinary Nigerians are suffering because of the criminal activities of idiots like you.
I wish the individual could look for a way to pick you up and have you behind bars. How is she a 'criminal' and 'petty thief'? Because she is offering a service some wouldn't want to go through its stress to fulfill and adds her fee?

Did she put a gun to your head to patronise her? Is it a crime for her to charge for her effort? She is not racketeering in any way and whatever pepper soup law you think you know will blow up in your face within seconds when law enforcement agencies get wind of it.

Directly in front of the CAC office in Alausa are folks who charge you more exorbitant fees to help you out. Despite online registration for passport applications and renewals, hundreds of thousands of passport holders still do not fill theirs online but rather pay exorbitant fees to immigration officers in order to just capture while the officers run around on their behalf. The same applies to civil wedding registration in Ikoyi. Some ended up paying 40k+ to officials in Ikoyi for a 15k online fee.

The earlier you realise there are no laws set against these the better for you. Just because you think someone charges exorbitant fees for whatever you think is cheap is not enough to slap unprintable names over her. Shoprite, Super Savers, Adide and other super marts all sell items and products at ridiculous prices while traditional markets sell cheaper. Guess what? People still patronise these super marts because they know they are paying for comfort.

If you have the sugar, energy and time to run around, by all means, go ahead and run around yourself. Some don't have the time and you are clearly not her target. Look on and stop throwing tantrums like a child whose tasty time was taken from him.

Kobojunkie:
I am afraid you are here the one who missed the point. God did not set any of those prerequisites before you.... Men did so by their traditions and ways, in there attempts at adding/appending their own laws and ideas to God's Law - none of them sanctioned by God. undecided

So it is up to you to decide whether you will do it as God commands - Genesis 2 vs 24 & Matthew 19 vs 3 - 5 & Mark 10 vs 5 - 9. - or according to the doctrines and traditions of men instead. Basically, "choose you this day whom you will serve....". undecided
How does a woman leave his father and mother to marry if not by parental consent? What does the 4th commandment say? If none is sanctioned by God, how then is a woman supposed to leave? Get forcefully taken or leave inappropriately? Who determines a man and a woman is married; man or God? At what point is sex 'proper' in marriage and what point is it fornication? Who determines it is fornication and who determines it isn't?

Children were no more allowed to free themselves from the authority of others than were slaves, unless they had their parents consent. That very reality proclaims that this was fair and honourable, since, according to God, children owed their being to their parents, and hence they were counted among their parents’ goods on far better grounds than any slave or subject who was under their dominion or was bought at a price.

It is totally okay to not have an understanding of consent and how it works in tandem with God's word. What you shouldn't do is brandish a half baked idea.

Mercychen:
And you are calling it church wedding?

Anyways I don't see anything wrong with it.
It's also the way the white man shoved down education in our throats and we are benefiting from it today.
Isn't it called church wedding?

This is religion. It is not the same as education. Plus, the white men introduced education and not 'shove it down our throats'. I don't know where you got this narrative from.

The question is church wedding important? The simple answer is NO. Of the three, it is the most insignificant and has no scriptural backing. It is okay if you want to have one but don't put up dogma just because indoctrination has eaten deep.

Omor see queestion.

Are you not a Christian?
If you dont believe and cant perform the rites and traditions of the church you claim to worship in, why then are you attending it?

Hm.. 21st century Christians and confusion be like 5&6.
Church wedding started with Queen Victoria. King Henry VIII added a twist to it and forced it down the throat of the then Catholic church.

Church or white weddings are unscriptural. They have no Biblical roots/origin.

God sanctioned none of your weddings in His Law.... traditional rituals, Court rituals, church rituals etc., have absolutely nothing to do with what God commands but instead the traditions and ways of men. undecided

When it comes to marriage, God left it simple for us - Genesis 2 vs 24 & Matthew 19 vs 3 - 5 & Mark 10 vs 5 - 9. That is marriage as far as God is concerned. undecided
You miss the point. There is a prerequisite for leaving and cleaving, particularly for a woman in every human society. In the African society and other highly traditional societies, you have to fulfill some rites. That part is also in the scripture when Abraham sent his servant to find Isaac a wife and he charged the servant to go with gifts and cattle.

Likewise, for men who don't have the resources to bring these gifts, they must work several years as agreed by the bride's father. Example is that of Jacob and Laban. While this was the only recorded because of the character of Jacob, it was a thing among Hebrews at the time.

As much as God instituted marriage, parental consent is key as that is the sign that they permitted it. Whatever it takes to get their consent is the fulfillment of the rite of the wedding, according to tradition.

Yes, I do. Because according to the email, the seller claimed a refund is impossible. Let the law get weigh in and let it become a public affair.

Someone I don't know sent me a long email this morning about how he had an awfully sour deal with a popular seller on here and it is almost becoming a police case. I was wondering how he got my email until he admitted I once dropped it on here. He sent me a video as well alongside chat shots. According to him, I influenced his decision into reaching out to the seller.

For the record, I have never endorsed any seller on here and I think it will be fair to say I have emphasised the 'do your due diligence' mantra more than any other person on here.

I have advised that the person makes the issue public and he has agreed to create an account. It seems he has been using the forum as an unregistered user. My prayer is that they don't resolve it amicably. There is a major takeaway from the epistle he sent me which I'd want everyone, particularly buyers to learn from.

Until then, ciao!

You get it wrong. No one is saying u buy things for sex but the idea is making her happy. That is y I emphasized on cheap things. Imagine those guys buying car as birthday gift for their wife, have they ever complained of sex starvation?
Isn't sex supposed to be what couples should anticipate? Isn't sex supposed to make people bond and couples happier? Cheap or expensive, buying is buying, that's all I'm saying. There are couples who don't buy gifts or bribe their way around... Pray tell, their sex lives are a mess?

Bottom line is, sex most importantly between couples should not be transactional. Even religious heads hammer this repeatedly for a reason.

Bro, u are not alone. I beg my wife all the time for sex.

Sometimes she said I always ask at the wrong always, she is tired, etc

I have accepted my faith but what I do to get her now is doing somethings she is supposed to do like washing the toilet, I take professional exams, show her result I passed, when she is happy I asked for sex as the reward.

I buy very cheap things that make her happy and ask for sex as reward. I said cheap things like bolé and groundnut, corn, watermelon etc

Just find a spicing point, I feel they need a little tickle
Apologies o but if you need to buy your wife something, no matter how little then it is no different from what call girls do. What happens the day you don't buy? No show? Buying stuff as a married man just to have sex with your own wife is a bad idea. Sooner or later, you might need to have that conversation.

All on free transfer. He's acquiring players without even spending a penny and they all want to be part of the army Xavi is building.

2008 - 2012 era of total football and dominance is coming back. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
It looks ideal but only on a short term. Out of contract players mostly are often at the end of their journey. Barcelona shouldn't expect to bounce back immediately. It is only wiser to build from the scratch, live with the humiliation for now but make a long lasting impact.

It is a disaster for Barcelona to build on free transfer players. Aged players led them to where they are now and it would be idiotic to have a repeat of the same.

Don't just protect loan debtors , also protect the creditors...
Pay the loan owed by defaulters to the loan companies...

And moreover before loan are disbursed, the debtors accepted terms and conditions as well permission to breach data
Creditors will only be protected ONLY if they are licensed and registered by the appropriate bodies. I agree that Nigerians can be difficult but data breach is something that shouldn't be toyed with. Online publishers are mandated by Google to put up GDPR notices in order to explain to their visitors how their data are used or protected.

Reckless data breach is as sensitive as murder but worse, all of your life's activities and dealings and made public without your consent. It is a grave crime whether or not users are bound by those terms of use.

CaptainZubi:
You just dey talk tomb of u known soldier. You know even talk how it came about or what brought about it.
The tomb is a symbol of sort. It represents American soldiers who died in the Wars 1&2 and the Korean war. There was a claim at some point that the actual 'unknown soldier' fell during the World War I and his body was transported to Washington from France. It was not exactly known what he did and why he was hallowed that much but DNA testing would later reveal him to be Air Force 1st Lt. Michael Joseph Blassie. The World War I unknown was later joined by the unidentified remains of soldiers from America’s other major 20th century wars and the tomb was put under permanent guard by special military sentinels.

Much later, the remains of Air Force Lieutenant Michael Blassie was returned to his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, and was buried with military honours, including an F-15 jet “missing man” flyover and a lone bugler sounding taps.

While the use 'Unknown Soldier', on the tomb, it actually refers to several others who were drafted into the military and later fell and remained unidentified, even in death.

Since 1925?

Nigeria needs to learn the importance of the preservation of history. They should stop acting like Hannibal the brute, abandoning important cultural monuments and laying them to waste
The Nigeria Armed Forces are a disgrace both in deeds and in action. Their loyalty is to whoever is president and not the country, which makes it quite difficult for most Nigerians to believe we have an Armed Forces that is worth celebrating.

The monument is significant in the sense that the 'Unknown soldier' isn't actually one but several American soldiers that died during the World War I, World War II, and the Korean War in defense of their country's integrity, honour, and peace.

Our own are either inviting bandits to raid their base, violate and dehumanise the people they are sworn to protect and serve and to sell military weapons to terrorists while their Chiefs are buying luxury properties in Dubai and making billions of Dollars meant for weapons disappear.

I’m not being funny but women born after 1990 should not have this stupid olden day mentality of the “kitchen belongs to me only”. It’s weird and stupid. The Kitchen does not belong to the wife of the house, if someone is hungry and they want to cook, let them cook. If someone wants to bath will they ask for permission before using the bathroom? What nonsense.
I am territorial even as a male and I protect my kitchen far more than I'll ever protect my personal toilet.

Since you are or the wobe generation, you probably may never understand that the space of married couples is 100% theirs save they give you permission to use it, be it the kitchen, bathroom or toilet. That you live with them does not give you the right to encroach and trespass, save you are asked to freely use the space. Even at that, the 'freely' comes with some level of unspoken rules. In the case of the OP, he cooked for himself which makes it worse. You don't go to people's spaces and cook for yourself. Two major 'visitation sins' there!

If you don't like it, simply leave.
