I have come to realise that the hungry attitude some ladies exhibit publicly was passed on to them by their parents. A common mistake that most men make is to marry an entitled woman who doesn't have a job. If your parents could be insensitive and stress the life out of a struggling man in the name of tradition, then tradition and the law of karma go hand in hand and it should be encouraged. Not like he is well to do o. He earns a paltry 70k and you in your warped mind expect him to send something to your parents because? Before he came along, how were they feeding? How does a man who earn 70k feed his immediately family with that, save and then send some to his darned in-laws? All these entitled and hungry families though. |
UyaiIncomparabl:So many contradiction in one tiny post. If you can only gift according to your capacity, which isn't actually a bad thing, you should also expect something based on your OWN capacity and not the other person's. I hate to be the person to join the "Nigerian girls" bandwagon but majority have one thing in common. They are always different and 'unique' until they ask and never stop asking because they know the dude is financially capable. Although I get that most of the girls are not buoyant financially but expecting a guy to go all out for you and spoil you silly when you can't replicate the same when the time comes should not be condoned. Gifting me a singlet/boxers and handkerchief like I am some chief priest isn't something to "awwwnnn" over. That's downright witchcraft. Date someone within your financial strength and get each other bras and singlets. Don't expect or hope to be with someone that is financially stronger while you crave the best of gifts from him only to make him feel worse when you want to get him gifts. |
investigator007:This app with terrible rating on PlayStore. You guys should attend to customers' complaints in the reviews section before marketing this. |
Lagbenjo: ![]() Mosobolaje was a Mr in my time as well. The man with his clean shave black head and annoying accent would come to class and explain literature like he was sleeping. Akande was notorious in my time. Brutal, as a matter of fact and hardly any fine girl was spared. The interesting part is that you'd never hear of those girls openly come out to say they were harassed before they gave in to them. I got into trouble with "Pastor" Dr. Ayoola without knowing it in Part 3. I failed EGL301 in the strangest of ways; my test slot read '0' and my exam '27'. I protested to my Part Adviser and we both visited Akande who was the course coordinator. Unfortunately, we didn't meet him. On our way out, we bumped into Ayoola who told me point blank that no Jupiter will spare me from not retaking the course. Poor me looked on in shock while my PA thanked him and asked us to leave. She went on to ask me in her office if I had an issue with our Pastor Dr. I told her 'no', only to find out much later that Ayoola was having an affair with my girlfriend. . I saw the signs but I ignored until I got burnt. |
TWLifestyle:I do not support or approve of men cheating or fathering kids outside of their marriage. And as a matter of fact, all of the paternity fraud stories that made it to the news all have one thing in common—and that is the fact that the men were gentle. Men in this category are often prone to paternity fraud. But somehow, you, a female, found it ideal to equate or draw a comparison similar to what some irresponsible men do rather than condemn this. This is not a gender war but you somewhat turned it on its head. If you are married, I pity the unfortunate individual you are married to. If you are not, here is one reason I advocate would-be partners should run social media checks on themselves as that is the only place where everyone is real and genuine these days. That said, you are morally bankrupt individual and it is noticeable from miles away. |
TWLifestyle:Not justifying what some men do but please have some dignity! The men do not impose the kids outside wedlock on their wife and home. A woman knows what she did and most likely the father but foists the pregnancy on another man to raise as his own. That is devilish! I believe most men won't bother if women give birth somewhere and the kids remain there. It is better a man knows he is incapable or yet to father any child instead imposing some bastards on him to raise as his own. Years of devotion, prioritising, providing and wasted joy for nothing just because a loose woman sneaked in a bastard. |
CSTRR:His move betrayed his own people, innit? Whether or not Buhari planted him is immaterial. So long he is a full-blooded Igbo man. It goes on to back up the saying that "an Igbo man can sell his father for the right amount". This one not only sold his father but his people and heritage. It's worse. |
This hit home. The stupid folks at the center must be reeling and fuming in anger on how best to get Ortom. They already promised to wait for him at the end of his tenure. Foolish people. |
I am a huge fan of fresh fishes and seafood but seeing a whole crab in the soup and I'm here wondering how someone is supposed to eat crabs with the carapace still intact; like the person is supposed to eat the wastes and dirt beneath the carapace just that? ![]() |
praiz2312:Nigeria failed as a state six years ago. What you are seeing now are just the symptoms of a failed states. The failure is overwhelming that it can't be hidden anymore. |
yarimo:I agree. Unfortunately, the bigger failure here is a man who failed in the 80s and is now failing terribly. I sincerely would be interested in Ortom's performance if the Federal government did not turn a blind eye while the people are being killed almost on a daily basis. |
"Yorubas are betrayers". Your own pulled out. |
MrReeseG:It's for cultists, at least for now. |
Christistruth00:Lai Mohammed |
Northerners are now suddenly realising that the werey of a president is a failure but BMCs are still hanging on and selling the 'darling daddy' narrative. I sure hope their N30,000 stipend is equal to $30 when they go to the market to buy stuff. |
Cowbell521:Some of you are just too poorly raised. I sincerely wish the Federal government could roll out a programme similar to that of the Lagos State government that would target poorly bred people and instead of correcting them, flog their parents for their children's anyhowness and their misdeeds. |
Patrioticman007:Kindly share 5 instances of your Muhammad solved crisis or problems without violence. |
Not Mosobolaje alone. Akande should also be added to this list and the so-called useless "Pastor Ayoola". |
geequ:Mbappe doesn't like Messi and it seems obvious. Probably as a result of playing style. Remaining at PSG with Messi means the team will adopt short ball playing styles to accommodate Messi and that will be at the detriment of a pacy Mbappe. Madrid on the other hand plays long football when which Mbappe will enjoy. Club philosophies aside, he had always wanted to play for Real Madrid. PSG is making the same mistakes Real Madrid of 2000s made—signing world class players who are aging. The buys are good and worth it but with more over 30s in the team, the project will see the club crashing within a year or two, no thanks to injury and limits. |
Lawrry:That's the idea. Mbappe is worth more and PSG has no choice than to accept whatever Madrid throws on the table as an offer to sign him. If they refuse, he'll leave next season and worse, for free. |
Most people do not like Buhari and his regime but this article is sensational. I get the cause and effect part of it but Yusuf wasn't responsible for this. |
nisai:Heaven knows I agree with you. Unfortunately, it is always the North vs South every eight years. I am hoping and praying the country disintegrates sooner than expected. That way, the North rules the North and South, the South. |
So Nigeria inducts aircraft? We can't produce, we can't manufacture. We rely on world powers to acquire military-grade aircraft and weapons and now we want to do 'party' for one Tucano... Who cursed this country this bad? |
It is interesting to think a group of empowered misfits can monitor and impose on others how they should live and how they shouldn't. This, as far as I know, will only push people away from the said religion and breed rebellion. Religion and illiteracy are the greatest disservices to humanity. Unfortunately, the North has both—far more than mineral or natural resources. |
This man's mindset is so archaic. It becomes interesting that he disguises under the umbrella of religion to sell his nonsense. |
JovialJune:Read my post but this time carefully. Read it with an open mind while at it. This isn't and shouldn't be a gender war. If you are trying to stoke one, you won't find one with me. |
AdeniyiA:You're blaming a woman whose husband allegedly got their maid pregnant? Sorry to ask—who raised you? |
She left the marriage and moved with her kids to the U.S. since March, if I am not mistaken. All her pictures on Instagram around this time suggests it was over as there was no wedding band on her. And then she did some embarked on some expensive trips in the name of 'vacation'. Paul himself liked some and then stopped. I am guessing that was when it was obvious to him that something wasn't right. Rumour mills claim a man bankrolled her trip and I don't doubt it one bit. Meanwhile, she left after Paul allegedly got their maid pregnant. She was already tired of the marriage before moving to the U.S. The subtle attack and counter attack in her petition might just confirm the rumour to be true after all—Paul seems to have a filed a petition first citing adultery. On her part, Anita counters with a barrage of allegations, while challenging Paul to deny them. For whatever reasons, this letter seems to have been made public by Anita's camp but the other parts of the petition, if released, might confirm the fact that she also got herself a 'distraction' which Paul refers as adultery. If the rumours are any way true and somewhat correlates with the letter, then it means Anita is guilty of cheating as well. Perhaps the court will take cause and effect into account, perhaps not. I would have loved that she ended the marriage peacefully before doing her thing. All of these are mere assumptions, regardless. Both camps have been unusually quiet and this mostly happen to people with serious legal battles and not the Mercy Aigbe vs Gentry type. |
VULCAN:We're talking marital dispute and you're citing a murder case as well as that of a sexual predator? How does it relate? Where is the sense in this ![]() |
DubaiLandLord1:The prenup is upheld. However, I doubt any educated Nigeria lady will sign that type of prenup with such a clause. |
Ishilove:Well, she already filed for divorce here in Nigeria but if they were both abroad or he refuses to honour the spousal settlement deal again, she can reinitiate it in the US, whether or not they got married in Nigeria. The way out is to prove in court that the other person has a connection to the country the divorce or legal fight will be initiated. Paul has properties in the United States which count for something. However, I am not sure this is enough. |
Fountainofyouth:The profit can't be shared if the court rules that the property be sold. Her lawyers will argue that the money be used to nurture the children since he failed to honour the spousal support. One way or another, he is doomed. I just hope the so called friend the estranged couple have will save him and cushion the effect in a way. |
