sylve11:Not sure our people sold Igbos as slaves but the Ijaw people did that. Itsekiri, Bini and Ijaw primarily traded Igbos as slaves. |
And every Igbo leader of thought have either distanced themselves from Kanu or claim they have no hand in his arrest. The earlier Igbos and Ohaneze wake up to reject Kanu's trial the better for them. |
Romanoff:Most are Christians with little or no understanding of the Scripture. There is the office of the Evangelist (Ephesians 4:11) and there is the Great Commission. What does this mean? |
akanke79:We all have a history. Blacks were originally foods for the whites to feast on; sell, use and discard as common items. It does not define us even though it is a part of our history. The idea that Igbos of old were taken as slaves by the Old Bini Kingdom does not change or mean anything. The Old Bini was formidable and vast. It does not necessarily make them cowards. |
JubrilBuhari:Those BMC cretins know the truth but hunger won't make them admit it. The fact that hunger has been weaponised from time immemorial but became enhanced under a serial failure as Buhari says everything. BMCs are directed on who/what to attack by those who hand them their allowance in order to look formidable. For the most part, notice how they avoid every thread highlighting Buhari's ever inadequacies and failures and how they move in droves to occupy threads of Igboho and how his apprehension will automatically make N1 equal to the Dollar. |
The earlier we realise that Buhari and his Fulani cohorts are on a mission to destroy Nigeria, the better. Igboho's angst started with the Fulani killings in Igangan. Self actualisation and determination is not a crime in Nigeria. I haven't seen where Igboho called for arms, asked his followers to attack security officials OR kill Fulanis. He only asked them to leave since they can't coexist peacefully but seeing that a COAS failure as Buratai could write two letters to the Beninoise government, describing a man who has had enough with killing of his own people in their land as a 'terrorist' and a 'murderer' says a lot about this unfortunate Fulani government. Nigeria isn't working. The earlier the country disintegrate peacefully, the better it is for all of us. It is only a name and the North enjoys the name more than the South. Gumi walks free but Igboho who prevented further casualty in Oyo State is a killer and a murderer. Anyways, before people get too excited, the The Beninoise government didn't say it won't extradite Sunday to Nigeria but said it won't without first trying him for entering the country with a fake passport. The Beninoise government said it won't handle a request for extradition without first trying him for the local offense he was arrested for, sources told SaharaReporters Thursday morning. |
SEGLIZ:Sense is far from you sir. Nigeria needs international embarrassment at this point. The girls are training to play a novelty match for Buhari's wife, a woman who had spent a decent amount of time in government doing nothing but enjoy her fantasies and splurge the country's commonwealth. God bless that dude on the bus! If Nigerians abroad can do consistently, we won't have any representatives flying the country's flag abroad in the name of sports and that is the ultimate protest. |
tsmat:Heaven forbid I have a relative as a pastor? What are they looking for, the money or lack of job? Sense is always far from religious people like you. With your huge eyeballs like that of an orphaned cat. |
Sammy07:The purpose evangelism to one's church is mostly for the money. We don't have to mince words. Most pastors don't care about the souls. Numerical strength often translate to higher monthly returns, which for them is good enough. |
I know how pentecostal churches function quite well. If you have issues with the church, IT WILL BE SPELT IN YOUR LETTER OF DISMISSAL but nowhere in that letter did the church state that the pastors left their primary places of assignments. Plus, full time pastors rely solely on the monthly earning from the church. IF THE PASTORS WERE ASSIGNED THEN IT MEANS THEY WERE ON THE CHURCH'S PAYROLL. The letter below took them up on GROWTH INDEX and not negligence. I have seen these things up close TOO MANY TIMES. Yes, pastors have KPIs, as surprising as it is and it is what is used in determining their performance. Interestingly, RETURNS is the summary of their KPIs. A sign your church is doing well is the number of MONTHLY RETURNS and sign that it is not is the LOW RETURNS. I have seen pastors queried, redeployed and even demoted FOR NOT GROWING THEIR CHURCH. All these explanations are just excuses on behalf of the modus operandi of Pentecostalism in Nigeria. The model is American and it is a disgusting one.

Anyone have an idea of the recent rate for Webmoney? A range will be better. Thanks. |
Oyiboman69:Her relationship, not herself. |
For anyone that is too lazy to read, Barcelona used Ronaldo's second COVID-19 news headline that saw him miss out on the match against Barcelona to warn their own players about protecting themselves against COVID-19. It's petty that an entire club will stoop low in this manner. Well, I guess Ronaldo lives rent free in Catalan even after departing Madrid well over two years ago. |
I strongly disagree. I have seen these things upclose way too many times to know the key indicators used in measuring pastors. While I am tempted to detail the whole thing, I'd rather stay quiet. My disposition on this over the years remains the same. |
@tolor, a lawyer can't help you. After a recent topic about them made front page, I went in search of their "TERMS" and found out these things are well spelt out and choosing to use them means you consented to their terms of use. |
Eliazejike:All of the problems you highlighted are false. I have been using KUDA since November last year and it has become my main bank. Had my device changed recently and the switch was seamless. You obviously forgot your password and could have used their support email option but you didn't. Kuda's voice support is perhaps unavailable because they have no physical office (until recently), which I quite understand. If you claim you chose to reset your password and the email to reset your password did not arrive, then it also means it probably means the account never belonged to you. Kuda's notification feature is swift and faster than most conventional banks around. Yes, Kuda is licensed by the CBN and it uses a microfinance bank license for obvious reasons. Kuda isn't 100% perfect but the one thing they would never do is lock you out of your account if your details are indeed yours. |
PrimadonnaO:And that is actually where the problem lies. Maybe we will learn the man is a 10 seconds man. |
pocohantas:True. She is actually a very expressive being. The emboldened is the war ![]() |
engrchykae:Nothing is wrong with a divorcee who is sold out to the idea of love. And I don't recall Tonto Dikeh coming at men for whatever reason. That she did doesn't and shouldn't make any gender special because it actually points to the fact that we really need people, friends or a partner in the end. |
Tonto Dikeh still hasn't learnt a thing from her previous marriage. I get that she loves love but this constant desperation of telling the world how sweet her man is looks vindictive; like she is trying to get at someone. She is probably an expressive being but people with such nature suck at handling breakups. I mean, she went on about Churchill for over a year to the point that people called her unprintable names. She really needs a breather and enjoy her love life away from social media. |
pocohantas:It really is. The concept of today's church is what some now describe as "corporate Christianity". Branches, Parishes, Zones, Districts or whatever names they are called are similar to business branches and Pastors-in-Charge are similar to Branch Managers. Most of them are on the church's payroll and the focus is always money. Regardless of the amount they make, a sizeable part of it goes to "National", or "Headquarter Church" while the revenue-generating church is to keep a tiny fraction of the generated funds. God help you as pastor if your tithe and offering is nothing to write home about. |
I know of pastors who were recalled for not being "productive" enough. Tithes and offerings were low and the HQ was financing most of the affairs of the church. The churches were suspended but later "re-launched" several months after. |
odimbannamdi:The emboldened is everything. I recall when I engaged someone on this thread to buy a laptop late last year. I loved the laptop immediately after the seller did a 20 seconds video on WhatsApp. I wasn't even in Lagos at the time and I pleaded with him to reserve it as I will be in Lagos on Friday and we can close the deal on Saturday. The dude respectfully told me he can't and I am the second person asking him to reserve the laptop. He claimed the first person asked him to reserve it for one week and after one week, he reminded the fellow only for the fellow to ghost before blocking him. He said he couldn't advertise around the time the potential buyer asked him to reserve it only for the deal to turn sour. I was forced to send someone to meet him up the following day to conclude the deal. Sellers are humans. We must all remember that. |
odimbannamdi:I didn't want to comment on this particular issue because I don't have the strength but sellers on this thread should develop the habit of revealing handles of potential buyers who put them through so much stress and end up blocking them for no just cause. It seems absurd but the idea of buying and selling/inspection/meeting up in strategic locations is food for shades of horrible people including kidnappers and common criminals. And then there are common window shoppers who engage sellers repeatedly only to waste their time. People who genuinely want to patronise you won't block you or go mum for no reason. I have bought a couple of things on here and I have backed out on some deals because I just wasn't comfortable either seeing other pictures of the item or distance. However, I communicated to these sellers why I am backing out and that's it. As much as there is a need to protect buyers owing to recent sharp practices by some sellers, there is also a need to protect sellers by putting up either the sobriquets of these so-called buyers whose intention might not actually be to buy in the first place. I had a first-hand experience on Jiji and I made sure to have his account blocked by reporting the seller for standing me up. Reporting someone who claims to be a buyer but act terribly either by blocking you or disappearing for no reason will force them to give their own account and warn other sellers who are diligent enough to run a search on phone numbers before dealing with them. Modified Can't tell whether I was wide awake or half asleep when I typed this. So many errors ![]() |
How do you react in such a manner? You've been sleeping with his supposed best friend. He said it publicly and you're hoping like a grasshopper. What did you think will happen? |
Candidlady:A curse? No. A disorder? Yes. I'd like to add that sexual addiction can be responsible. As a matter of fact, there is no line between nymphomania and a female that is sexually addicted. There is also the case of girls being exposed at a tender age either through abuse or pressure. I have seen cases of girls who got violated growing up and couldn't keep themselves. Why, I can never tell. I believe SOME nymphomaniacs tend to be the way they are because of their make up; POSSIBLY a mammoth-sized oxytocin and neuro-transmitters on overdrive. I don't necessarily align with the psychological part of it. |
A note of warning - NEVER CLICK ON ANY LINK WITHIN A SUSPECTED SCAM MAIL AS THE OP ADVISED! The idea behind the email in the first place is to click through and phish your details. The OP might have been lucky that the link they added to the email is genuine. In most cases, it is never genuine - cybersquatted sites are often used in masking their fraud and phishing is often the endgame! |
Mysticwebb:The said Mohammed was never a god sef. He was basically like any man. The difference was that he cooked up so many religious jargons the world is suffering today. |
obiekunie01:What are you talking about? MultiChoice offer the same Pay as you go in some African countries. Why can't they do the same in Nigeria? |
sunnysunny:Is this proper? I recall a similar topic made front page and out of curiosity had to dig out the thread only to realize you quoted someone's material verbatim. |
Arrewa:According to you, Israel has WON A COUPLE which counts for something. Nigeria has only won just one and it was done through starvation. A country that can't defeat local bandits and terror groups in the President's own region is as useless as the 'P' in Psychology. |
