Politics › Re: Shocking Before And After Transformation Of Nnamdi Kanu In Prison [PICS] by Sanchez01(m): 12:07pm On Dec 24, 2015
Goodluck Jonathan rubbished the Federal might by granting amnesty to criminals, thugs and terrorists who threatened the peace of Nigeria. NK must have forgotten that Jonathan was not in office any longer. I have never enjoyed reading the comments of some pro Biafran agitators on the forum who end up branding Nigeria as a "Zoo" but more than ever, Nigeria must live up to the expectation of Nnamdi Kanu and don the cow and monkey costume to deal with him. No one wins against any government, Federal to be precise. What many don't understand is that the government is the law. Since Nnamdi Kanu has eaten to his fill and thought of troubling the peace of Nigeria, then I say we're what he and his people call us. We're Zoogerians and we're proud of it. And a Zoogerian treatment he will get.

emaculate99:
I was called at about few minutes past eight about a missing student of the faculty of law for about 10 days now. The source also claimed that she is a part two student and only for me to put on my phone to discover that almost all law students were involved in the search. Had to join by sending BC both on bbm and whatsapp and as expected, headed to the faculty to confirm her student status. Here are a few points to doubt she is ifelaw.

1. The information from the members of llb 2 was that they've never seen the face beforehand which was also corroborated by the class governor when I called him. The database of the class didn't show she's a member so I had to appeal to faculty secretary to help in confirmation of the info on the school database which she was  unable to do due to poor network. I decided to approach a senior lecturer with all law students database linked to the admission office but futile was the respite despite the search from class to class.

2. I called the family to release any information which could be helpful and also the numbers of friends but the sister said none of these numbers were reachable. I later insisted on collecting them and particularly those in law according to them but she sent just one and was sent to the PLO to confirm the ownership of the line. The result was negative.

3. Don't forget the report was that a friend claimed to have seen her on the 12th of this month. I demanded for the number of the friend, had a long conversation with her and she made me realize thier friendship was just a month old and that she stays in sport while she stays in town (the friend). Issues became clearer when I asked her about some of the courses they offer and their contract lecturer. Her response was that she is not a law student but a student of mass communication at Obafemi Awolowo University. Guys! Hope we are together?

 4. Upon the demand of any of her identification document they could lay their hands on in the house, the sister was only able to send her pre-degree registration number and full name meaning they don't know her matric number which is not a crime. I later demanded for her username on Facebook which was sent immediately. Her profile claimed she's a student of our faculty and I further decided to check her pictures. After viewing over 500 pictures, I was only able to see one where she appeared on the regulation dress but it was of a Sunday. I further checked for her friends but none happened to be a law student which I know of.

The truth as it stands now is that someone somewhere is "missing" and we are this involved bcus she has been said to be part of our family but the truth is that she doesn't have at the moment, the qualifications of our family member. I await report from the center for distance learning which is a body in charge of the pre-degree program to confirm if she was there for the program and if yes, her final score and the admission offered. Her name and the predegree registration number have been sent to the center this afternoon for confirmation. The truth is that as large as we are, we are more united than termites in a termitarium. A member of us cannot exist outside our knowledge! !!!

Lets keep the search bcus no one can tell..... GOD BLESS LSS!

Lss president.
Please stop looking for the girl in question. It is not known to a lot of people that the course 'Mass Communication' is not being offered in OAU. People don't know this and it often comes as a shock when outsiders realize that "as big as OAU is, it does not offer Mass Comm". Language Arts is the only course that is similar to Mass Communication, and it is in the Faculty of Education. This girl is not missing. Perhaps she has gone to spend the season with some social medium boyfriend.

That's why dad n mum still warn us about those Bendel girls, even when there is no Bendel state anymore.
Every state and region has its stereotype. Bendel may have been the composition of Benin+Delta, it still does not take away the fact that they were targets of the Eastern region then.
This, I found on wikipedia;

During the Nigerian Civil War, the Biafran forces invaded the new Mid-Western state, en route to Lagos, in an attempt to force a quick end to the war. While under Biafran occupation, the state was declared the "Republic of Benin". As Nigerian forces retook the region, the republic collapsed only a day after the declaration when Nigerian troops captured Benin City.
Why Ogbemudia has come out to narrate his ordeal at this point in time is what I don't understandundecided

MTN should leave Nigeria if they cannot adhere to our rules and regulations. Funny how the law is everyone's haven when they have flouted rules they're not supposed to mess with.

I'm sure the judge they want to take their case to will consider himself a Nigerian before any other thing. It's quite unfortunate that an organisation milk and sometimes illegally extort Nigerians under the guise of illegal subscriptions and would in turn threaten to fight back when they have been penalized after flouting a simple rule.

If we say Jonathan is not only clueless but stûpid, some Ekpas would keenly contest it. You can imagine dashing neighbouring countries monies to buy weapons and vehicles when our soldiers were given water gun to confront Boko Haram! Jonathan had better come out publicly to talk so that the whole Nigeria would know how he and his cronies got so confused and chose to play with Nigeria's monies instead of playing with sands and feeding bottles.

And to those stùpid, annoying, slow walking peacocks who call themselves "Northern leadersl, they'd better sit in their mini-thrones with their under aged concubines while the law plays its part. So far, we're good with the way the scenes are playing out.

There would be no soft landing for any crook, not in this Nigeria. Just few weeks ago, a petty thief was sentenced to death for stealing 14,000 (fourteen thousand naira) and these ones who have single-handedly finished Nigeria want to get a soft landing. I sincerely want to believe whoever wrote this article was idle as at "press time" and chose to mess with the Nigerian populace.

Honestly, I'm not sure if most persons are surprised at this. Metuh can't be clean if the likes of Bode George is not. The beauty of the whole thing, as it stands is that this should not bother most people as it is an intra-party affair. Metuh misappropriated his oga's money, his oga vexed and hired a beautiful singer who could not guarantee him a return.

I'm still waiting for the spotlight to shine on Ayo Ortisejafor and Obanikoro.

Dasuki cannot survive this jail sentence when the EFCC and the FG is through with him. But first, we need more names and persons involved. People like Patience Jonathan, Femi Fani-Kayode, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Goodluck Jonathan and tons of other persons working under dim lights to milk Nigeria.

Meanwhile... Inmates in Kuje prison are calling for butt of Raymond Dokpesigrin

You people still don't understand
What is the essence of prison?
It's to reform and to deter!
Even if the prisoners are dangerous,
Don't they have a solitary or something where they can put him?
Putting him in that office is a big shame!
If you are the one will they accord you thesame treatment?
The law should never be seen as this obscenely selective!
Pangea, I understand where you're coming from but then again, we need to understand that he has not been sentenced yet but remanded and I'm sure you'd want to agree with me that they're not the same. Of a truth, a commoner would not be given the grace to enjoy an office like Dokpesi has been given. Don't be quick to point at the law here. The law played it's part, that some elements within the prison have deemed it fit to give him an office, does not make them the law.

Take it or leave it, Dokpesi is a known personality and should not be brought to the bearest minimum just because he's remanded. We're fasting and praying for a lenthy prison time for him by the time the EFCC is done with him.

I saw this coming and I'm not in any way surprised. Even the officials that have given him an office to sleep will soon complain and treat him as a common man when nobody comes forward to take his bail. It's only a matter of time.

Perhaps government officials within the prison section may visit Kuje today to verify if the claim is true and if it is, the head or whoever call the shots at Kuje would be made to answer. Let's not submit the butt of one high chief into the hands of unrepentant inmates to play with yet, at least not for now. It's only a matter of time.

Go and tell that to Benny madoff in jail for 150 years.
I'm sure if he is in nigeria, he would have been given an office in the prison to spend his 150yrs jail time.

Nigerians just love to excuse their looters.
And with this mindset, this country can never change, because the elite will never fear the justice system and the jail.
They know an office is waiting for them there!
Nonsense!
Madoff and Dokpesi are not the same yet, only a matter of time. He is only remanded and it's proper for him to be shielded since the inmates are calling for his butt-hole. To be candid, most of all would like to see Dokpesi and the other thieves suffer but I think it's better for us to just calm our frayed nerves and expect the worse for Dokpesigrin

Joseph was the head of all the slaves in the house of Potiphar, never made him special; he was still a slave. And that Dokpesi sleeps in an office in Kuje prison does not make him any special; he's still in prison.
Politics › Re: Dokpesi Shielded In Detention To Avert Assault By Inmates by Sanchez01(m): 4:48am On Dec 16, 2015
If at all this is true, then it's a shame on whoever is in charge at Kuje prison. But then again, we need to look at the situation with all fairness and sincerity of heart, Dopkesi may not survive the attack or assault from prison mates if put in there with them. And we're very much interested in getting to the root of this matter than having these thieves die at this point. The EFCC is not done with Dokpesi and he knows this, let them give him all the preferential treatment till thy kingdom come, it will still go down into the record books that Dokpesi was remanded in prison in the 2015, when Buhari thumped Jonathan and the PDP.

That Dokpesi is in prison is enough. Anywhere within the premises, and as long as he's not in the staff quarters (that's if they have one), then I'm comfortable.

Dokpesi may celebrate his Christmas in that prison with the bail conditions. I don't see him coming out easily.

The case of two shots-calling offices in Nigeria who went berserk. The case of an ATM and the PIN. Dasuki and Jonathan bled Nigeria by cutting her veins under the aegis of a re-election and bloody thirst for power. Heaven knows I'll relocate to Benin Republic if Dasuki goes scot-free at the end. Regardless, there's an 80% chance that he won't survive this.

Fayose has been mute; Okupe is pretending to be dead, Ayo Oritsejafor is no longer the offical priest of the Goodluck Jonathan National team; FFK, Olisa Metuh, Jim Nwobodo (the chronic thief) have all been quiet, something contrary to the operation of the PDP from time immemorial.

With the heavy allegations flying around like Jet Li, it's quite surprising that none of them have come out to refute the claims and allegations thrown at them.

And for the "Ekpas" (meaning fõols in Urhobo and perhaps other languages) as rightly stated by Keyamo, Nigeria and sane Nigerians are right behind prosecuting, castrating, blinding and public stoning of thieves who have enriched their own lives and pockets rather than the common man. Dasuki should open up on time and implicate the many Christian leaders unlce Jonah gave money to for special prayers.

Social media has been the undoing of many struggling and upcoming artistes. A talent worthy of note would not have time for "I bought these and I trashed it" stuffs. It explains why they don't "blow". How would he/they even blow when all they crave is sickly attentions instead of spending time "cooking" their next piecehuh I'm sure I know what would have become of Psquare if they had devoted their early moments in their career to "thrashing" and "trashing" what they bought instead of putting all their breath on their choreographies and songs. Politics › Gambia Declared Islamic Republic - BBC by Sanchez01(op): 1:26pm On Dec 12, 2015
Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has declared his Muslim-majority country an Islamic republic, saying the move marks a break with the colonial past.

Mr Jammeh told state TV the proclamation was in line with Gambia's "religious identity and values".

He added that no dress code would be imposed and citizens of other faiths would be allowed to practise freely.

Some 90% of Gambians are Muslim. The former British colony's economy relies heavily on tourism.

However, relations with the West have soured recently.
The European Union temporarily withheld aid money to Gambia last year over its poor human rights record.

Mr Jammeh has been president of the tiny West African country for 21 years.

"As Muslims are the majority in the country, the Gambia cannot afford to continue the colonial legacy," Mr Jammeh told state TV, explaining his decision to proclaim an Islamic republic.

Other Islamic republics include Iran, Pakistan and - in Africa, Mauritania.

Mr Jammeh withdrew Gambia from the Commonwealth in 2013, describing the organisation as neo-colonial.
In 2007, he claimed to have found a herbal cure for Aids.

This whole exercise is becoming tiring to be honest. If they want to do a thorough job, why not compare these spending against preceding governments.

Don't get me wrong, I am not holding forte for GEJ's administration, neither do I support needless waste of public funds Cum trust. But the fact remains that our past leaders have been nothing but some bunch of visionless and heartless looters.

This present exercise if pursued, will consume a lot of the present actors.
You don't need to compare to nail these thieves. Question is 'Is the office of the NSA a cash office that allows for dishing out funds?'

As it stands, Dasuki is doing very well opening up and those he transacted with are not doing bad in stating facts and figures. If you like, defend Jonathan to high heavens, if he's guilty at the end, he'll be judged and tried.
