Although it's a one'sided story but it is troubling that she painted a picture of herself as psychotic, plagued with some strange illness and mentally unstable but you still went ahead by getting married to her on the condition that she'd suppress the devil harassing her. Sincerely, I'd advise you move on without the child. Her family and the woman might bring up things against you even though your narrative didn't say you did anything wrong, not even for a day. Sincerely, people today are the own enemies. You see signs there'll be trouble with an individual but you overestimate your strength and ignore all red flags only to fall apart in less than five years. Move on without the child and mother. Like someone mentioned, the child might come looking for you if she ever finds out the truth. |
RisenPhoenix:On point, the emboldened! A case of hoping to add weight after eating a meal that is cursed. |
RisenPhoenix:Sincerely, I don't expect him to pay up again. I moved past that episode already. I am quite active on WhatsApp and he sees my status updates regularly and the fact that I completely shut him out is enough. Fiancée is angry and she wants me to take the issue up as the money is weighty someone but I can't. The way I raged when we had a confrontation over what he owes made me realize most of those around me do so because I am non-challant about things. The clown told another of our friend he was surprised I could ask for the money. Money you borrowed to finance/support your business o. And it wasn't like I owe him for an act or something he did. I doubt he has been beneficial before. These days, I tell those around me who ask to lend them money that I wouldn't lend money to anyone. If you come to me hoping to lend 100k, I'll whole heartedly give you 10k. That way, I know I gave it rather than have my mind fixated on something that will ruin so many things later. |
vincentjk: ![]() Story of my life. Mine was super manipulative that he always apologized for not paying up the moment he saw me. I became the one who avoided him just so it wouldn't look like the money made us jam. ![]() |
dumo1:He's too close a friend. Took him as the brother I never had. The whole thing came with one huge blend of shock and disbelief. As much as I don't have the strength for wàhálà, I figured he preyed on my goodwill and I just couldn't get the police involved because the issue got to someone I respect deeply. Sadly, I was talked out of pushing for the money; that he'd pay on his own if he has sense. Maybe he'll pay tomorrow, I can't tell. |
We4all:You're missing the point. I wouldn't ask anyone to lend me a sum they can't part with, not because I wouldn't be able to pay them back but because I wouldn't do so. It's simple. It's the golden rule and that's all that matters. If I had brought the tale here then and sought counsel, I'm sure you'd have advised to be the help and save the day. It is over a year now and the clown has been sending repeated new year messages on WhatsApp. Someone who clearly told me to my face that I could do what I wanted because he doesn't have my money and he wouldn't kill himself. This is someone who used all of my debit cards when he wanted and would even ask him whether or not he needed to borrow to support his business. I have learnt the hard way and I know for a fact that emotions won't move a hair on me again. THE POINT HERE IS WHETHER OR NOT TO LEND SOMEONE A SUM YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO PART WITH. I CAN'T. NO SANE HUMAN SHOULD DO IT! |
We4all:What she stated is nothing but the Gospel truth. Relationships have been ruined just because a close friend borrowed money and couldn't pay back. Whether or not the person is dying the next minute or not is one thing but humans have proven to be the same over the years. Act like you are on the verge of dying, run around and take advantage of the goodwill of others then become comfortable and claim you don't have the money when the person comes calling. My personal experiences in this area alone has taught me a lot. The friendship today is no more and the money remains unreturned. You can lend to anyone but the line should be drawn the moment it becomes something you can't afford to part with. |
williams2600:Transsion Holdinds own Tecno, itel and Infinix. It is because of people like you that they introduced several options of the same company. It's like someone saying the Red Devils is better than Manchester United. |
Tinubu echoed the fear of the Presidency. The latter is scared because it is in a regional scale and that seems to worry Tinubu whom I perceive is tasked to quiet down that aspect and possibly cajole the South West governors to make it a state affair rather than a regional thing. Tinubu is indeed desperate that he is trying to be correctly politically. |
It is no longer news that the formation of Amotekun and its launch has greatly unsettled a tiny ethnic group in Nigeria, including Herdsmen which the government protects in a way, and the sudden silence of the FG over the southwestern security outfit suggest it's legal perspective is being weighed. While Malami has been quick to announce that Amotekun is illegal, he has been tutored on elementary law by Akeredolu and even Itse Sagay, Chairman, Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption and a staunch supporter of President have schooled the AGF on the same issue. I am no lawyer but a likely or possible scenarios will play out should the FG take on Amotekun in court: 1. Despite being a regional security outfit the SW governors will deny the outfit as parallel to the NPF and claim it is nothing but 'community policing', not too different from 'Neighbourhood Watch' outfits. 2. In a bid to shove, the governors might cite Hisbah as being parallel to the NPF in the North when it didn't pass through the fire of law. 3. Hisbah as an example would imply two things in court; A. That the SW can and should go ahead with its security network. B. That Hisbah is just as illegal as Amotekun and the two be scrapped. 4. Should part A above happen, the South East and the South South and the North Central might follow suit in a speedy manner, meaning the FG's loss will be monumental. 5. Should part B above happen, Hisbah will be scrapped just as Amotekun wouldn't see the light of day. And this means Sharia Law won't have enforcers in the North as there can be no parallel police which Hisbah has been ever since. 6. The possibility of Civilian JTF will be brought in and debated as well since civilians are permitted to bear arms and defend their lives and properties. Regardless of where the case turns, the North will lose one way or another. Akeredolu has stated that those who are not happy with the outfit should fix a date in court and as a SAN, I believe he has weighed not only the option of the South West but also believe the regional security outfit will fly. For fear of losing the case and motivating other regions to launch theirs, the Presidency might continue to use individuals and, it's elites and pressure groups such as the Miyetti Allah to continually issue warns and strike fear in the heart of people. |
uruba23:What went down wasn't protests but solidarity walks across the SW states. Plus, the SW governors can't challenge the AGF because neither has gone to court yet. So the question of 'challenging' the decision does not apply. The AGF is not the law but the government's lawyer. Simply put, he is only able to advise the government on legal matters and not interpret the law. And the fact that he rushed out only meant he was testing the water. The FG will shoot itself in the leg the moment Amotekun goes to court because the dust of Hisbah and civilian JTF will be raised and that means either of two things; Hisbah will be scrapped just as Amotekun will be scrapped, meaning Sharia will stand on one leg in the North as there won't be enforcers or that the SW governors will win in court which will trigger other regions to float theirs, meaning the excesses of Fulani activities will be curbed in full force. It is a calculated move against the FG and it is a win-win for democracy either way. |
themonk:I carefully saved this nonsense you called post and hoped to out it to use in the not too distant future. Interestingly, I didn't envisage it will be this close. |
Alexis11:The last paragraph is a carry over from another thread where the Buhari stooge likened IPOB to Amotekun. It wasn't just some random discussion. |
MedicH:The iidiot must be angry. He is paid to defend his paymasters on here and differing opinions, moves or ideas should irk him just as he does them. |
MANNABBQGR1LLS:And this is coming from a BMC nonentity who lives on 30k monthly? You are equally as stupiid as the totem pole in Aso Rock. And to think you could hump on my mention just because I mentioned your paymaster like some crazed zombie is somewhat hilarious. I can't tell whether or not you are claiming Igbo right now or your regular BMC. Either way, you've been noticed. Now, scoot. |
[s] CSTR2:[/s] Either you have comprehension issues or that you are confused. You likened Amotekun to IPOB only to turn around to say 'IPOB is a group of uncouth savages led by Kanu'. You are clown las las. |
CSTR2:Pray tell, what was the purpose of the Biafra 'Never Again' seminar? Lol. You think people don't follow these things? Buhari said Amotekun is illegal but Hisbah and Fulani Herdsmen are not despite being ranked as the fourth most deadliest militia in the world. Buhari has always been stupiid and this is but an open secret. What else? |
Amotekun records success in Ekiti and Ibadan. The presence and creation of Amotekun have greatly destabilize the plans of fulanization so much that one Fulani hersdman at a time show up on Channels to either wail like a baby robbed of his candy or condemn Amotekun. CSTR2, come see how the DSS provided heavy cover for Amotekun protesters. And the likes of you compared Amotekun to IPOB? I laugh in tongues. |
A cleric and key members of hunters as well as members of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), among other stakeholders were part of the solidarity rally held in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Tuesday in support of ‘Amotekun’https://www.google.com/amp/s/tribuneonlineng.com/amotekun-cleric-hunters-opc-others-lead-solidarity-rally-in-ekiti/amp/

CSTR2:I quite understand you have to feign ignorance to drive home your non-existent point. When Kanu referred to Imo and Anambra ladies as prostitutes, I'm sure it was IPOB who said the same? When Kanu honoured Jack and but failed to mention the names of those who allegedly died in his father's, I'm sure it was IPOB who honoured Jack and didn't do the same for those who died? Amotekun wasn't created or hijacked by a university dropout who thought to cash out on it from the UK. |
CSTR2:IPOB does not support Amotekun, Kanu did and we all know he did it for clout and cheap fame. That said, the difference between Amotekun and IPOB is wide. While the SE governors send police to hunt down IPOB youths in their states, Amotekun was formed by SW governors, which means it is an endorsed regional formation. Amotekun is a security outfit while IPOB is a faction of the many seperatist groups in the SE. No way you can compare the two and should mention them in one breath. |
baby124:This should be framed! |
Guestuser:I'd say they are uninformed. It doesn't make sense that they'll wail that much because of a governor who was kicked out of office. You only see wailing of this level when at a burial of someone that died in a super painful way. These women are no doubt hired or professional wailers. |
Oma307:Bride price has been paid. |
Iamgrey5:I wouldn't refer to Tinubu as a collaborator as it is purely political for him. Seyi Makinde and Akeredolu are not in way close to Tinubu and Akeredolu being a driver of the initiative is a SAN. One thing I'm certain of is that Tinubu will either remain silent or align with the initiative. However, knowing Tinubu isn't the type to align with ideas as he is primarily fond of birthing them, I strongly believe he'll remain quiet over this. |
lomprico:The same Nnamdi Kanu that referred to Anambra and Imo women as prostitutes or which? Paranoia is one thing. Seeing ready signs is another. |
macof:I think it is way more beyond just enemies. These guys seem to be hatching a plan and the presence of Amotekun seems to be threatening whatever it is they are planning. |
Never have I seen the Presidency, the ACF and Miyetti Allah, alongside some of their elders consistently come out to condemn someone or something as they have done Amotekun ever since the security outfit was launched. The presidency, through its AGF didn't waste any time to claim that the Amotekun initiative is illegal. The same has never for once condemned the activities of killer herdsmen running riots across states in Nigeria. The Arewa Consultative Forum didn't waste time either to claim that the presence of Amotekun will threaten the unity of Nigeria and I've been wondering how their claim could materialize. As if that isn't enough, a dying Ibrahim Babangida suddenly found his voice to campaign against the newly launched outfit in the South West. Miyetti Allah, for the first time, has shown great signs of fear by sending its influential people out to announce that Amotekun is not only illegal but primarily set up to target the Fulanis in Nigeria. Furthermore, their supposed head in Oyo 'demanded' to have Fulanis as members of the security outfit and I am left to think whether or not these guys think at all. In a bid to drive home their points, a cattle rearing organization as the Miyetti Allah suddenly has the power to dangle the ticket of the presidency before the South East. The same who said the SE stood no chance in Nigeria suddenly become the one claiming the South West has destroyed its chances of landing the presidential ticket and as such, the worthy region now is the South East. The Game Prior to the launch of Amotekun, Northern elites and key figures had been coming out to hint that the North will hold on to power in 2023 because its initial eight years under Yar'Adua was never completed because Jonathan failed to honour the gentleman agreement. After the launch of Amotekun, there seems to have been a sudden turn-around and the stance has changed from 'we're keeping the seat' to 'the South West have destroyed her chances, therefore the South East should have it'. The Hypocrisy Hisbah is not only a security outfit but also a Northern Police outfit. They were reported to have arrested a police officer in Kaduna or Kano recently just because the officer was found with a prostitute. The AGF never came out to announce that Hisbah is illegal, neither did the ACF announce that the presence of Hisbah threatens the unity of the country. A dying Babangida didn't come out to criticize Hisbah and neither did any God-forsaken retired police IG come out to criticize the rag-tag-like group. The Agenda The South West is the only region in Nigeria that conveniently house and accommodate every tribe, creed and religion in Nigeria, far more than other regions. So I'm wondering; of all ethnic groups, and tribes in the South West, none have come out to claim the set up of Amotekun is targeted at them but the Fulanis. The question is 'WHY'?? Why are the Fulanis worried? Why are Northern elders jittery and coming out one after another to cry? Who equipped Miyetti Allah with the power to dangle the presidency ticket before the South East and the South West? What is the Presidency, the ACF and Miyetti Allah afraid of? Sanchez01 |
GuestLog:Ric Hassani, TJan, Johnny Drille, Cobhams, Darey and Mosa... I sincerely wonder what you guys listen to. There's no way on planet earth that you'll hear these guys and not say what they do isn't music. |

Smithkafors:How would you not know the nature of the compound? Did you not read that it is a poultry's? Let's face it,a modern-sized shoe factory size (visualizing) in my head) shouldn't take more than 500k to clear, and I'm talking the use of machines in doing so. How much does it cost to rent a mower that would work on the land, say for three days tops and how much does it cost to get an operator to operate it? Note, I am not referring to a dredger but a MOWER. Whether or not Ihedioha fainted at the entrance of an abandoned shoe factory isn't the issue. The Bush in question is a poultry's and the money was request TO COMPLETE the clearing, meaning monies have gone in before now, possibly N5m or more. However you want to look at it, this is a smooth crime. |
Ihedioha the smooth criminal. The fact that the N3.5m is to COMPLETE the clearing means more millions had been spent ahead before this. I so want Ihedioha to be bullied and thrown around a while before his kinsmen will come out and beg on his behalf. In the end, Nigerian politicians, irrespective of their political parties, are the same. Their goal is to loot through whatever avenue is available while the supposed people they lead bleed and die over which party has a larger halo around its head. |
