I have about 3 of them living abroad that wants to marry me and I can dash you the 3 of them..one in US doing very well with his own personal house..another in Holland with houses all over Nigeria and another in Arab country doing so well too..you are still very dumb at your age for not knowing what you want in a husband rather than him living in the US.some Nigerian girls with their fish brains.

Good afternoon Nairalanders, Let me start talking about how we started, I have known this lady for a long time(Just Friends) but we started talking again few months ago after about 6 years without communicating, she is the type that I really love and want to make my wife, but an issue started coming up as a threat in between us lately. To start with, she was dating a guy when we started talking again and I was out of the country then. We got along very well and things started getting serious overtime, she told me she has a boyfriend then but she doesn't really go into much details at first, when I came back, I asked about her boyfriend issue and she told me he is a cool guy but things are getting bad between them because she has been having issues with the kind of friend he keeps, their lifestyle of smoking etc and he isn't serious with any life plans which was before she found out due to long distance relationship.
She ended the relationship after we met (she has always emphasize this to know how real I am about her), the problem now is that the Ex keeps resurfacing using different strategies like begging, crying and other childish act and was always like no one can take her from him, the worst that happened recently now is that the guy wanted to commit suicide, the mother and some of his family members had to call my girlfriend to please reverse her decision on the break up so that he wouldn't end his life etc. I need suggestion on how to resolve this issue once and for all. Its getting out of hand and I cant keep continuing like this, likewise herself too. All ideas, insults and suggestions are welcome.


Note: She has done all her part to persuade the guy stop the lifestyle and plan toward the future and stop keeping friends that are into smoking and all those lifestyle many times before I met her to no avail, thinking she cant leave him simply because he disvirgined her and has been the only guy she had known all of her life. I know all this details personally through a friend that attended same University with her, personal background check and her words too. No one is perfect but I don't see her as the lieing type and she open up to me on everything. Thanks

Well..being a smoker is not enough reason for her to leave him.he is probably still young and will stop with time..you can't force smokers to stop instead they will be doing it at your back.let the girl go back to her man..she practical left the guy because of you and for the fact that you came back from abroad because some of our fish brain girls feel once someone lives abroad the person sees Jesus..let's say you are a poor guy would she have left the guy for?you should be the one to dump this girl so she can go back to her man,dont let someone kill you because of a woman.you have been so in love in the past that you never wished for it to end but it ended after all and you did die so you will find someone else you will so love more than this girl.

Give love a chance again..open your heart to people you meet and stop doubting because that alone will discourage any girl.goodluck.

I actually gave up on churches even the one that I was born..I want to see churches help the needy more than buying all the expensive things in the world.this is what I like seeing and nothing more.i try them out and if the church is what my spirit has been looking for then I will make it my church for ever..I'm not looking for miracle but a churche where they care about the poor and needy.

This is one of the reasons that will make me go to a church..this is what God would do not the ones that want to buy private jet when people are hungry.let me go and follow them..maybe one day I will visit their church and see if they practice what they preach and they are not using this to do advert for new members.. So few days back my landlord asked me if I was going to vote for APC so he would help me get voter's card,that the connection was from the federal since the INEC officials don't come to the area from week to week and it's over a month now since they came last..what they do is to ask people to write down their names and come back but the INEC officials never ever come..so today there was an announcement that the INEC officials were on their way so people should come and get registered so I decided it was time to get my own because I have actually been preaching to people to get registered and vote this evil government out..
I went to the centre and wrote down my name,they said it was going to take the INEC officials about 30 minutes to get there so I decided to get something down the road..on my way back I saw some men alighting from a car with the green INEC bag,they were about four of them..we all gathered and one guy from the area started asking the only INEC man with the APC agents why the APC agents were the ones assigned to work with him and he said he doesn't know,that his his superior called him and sent him to our area and when he asked about the people he would be working with his superior gave him those APC agents to go and do the registration with and that is how trouble started,i told the APC agents that it was wrong for them to be working with INEC so one of the APC agent's asked me if he could explain how it happened and I told him I was not interested so he started explaining to the crown how they(APC agents)went to the INEC office and paid for them to come and register people in my area..I told him he was talking rubbish because I don't know when party Agen's started paying INEC officials to come do their job after how many billions was budgeted for this coming election?the slap the INEC official got from one of the area boy's from behind is not something to forget in a hurry.thats how the INEC official jumped into the car and ran for his dear life.
My point now is,INEC is working for APC so I wondering how are going to get these people out next year.APC/buhari/Adams oshomole and the Fulani herdsmen are all cows.

pardon my blunders.
I was aware she has a baby before we met but still continued the relationship because the baby is with the father. she told me it was a mistake and the guy's family doesn't support their relationship. so they went their different ways while the guy kept the baby.

when we started, I found out she's humble, hardworking and she's everything I ever wanted in a woman. so we got married 4 years ago and have a 3 year old son and 2 beautiful twins (just 3 months old).

now the problem started when she went to church and her ex brought her 7 years old daughter unannounced. that he's married now and can't continue taking Care of the girl.
she called me from church and told me. immediately I told her not to bring a child thats not mine to me. she now took the baby to her mom and came home to meet me with my kids.
she has been begging me since to allow the baby in our home because the mother gave her 3 days to come and take her baby from her.

nairalanders pls I need your advice on this. those it make sense that I take the baby while the father is out there enjoying his life.

Please for the sake of God let that child stay with you and treat her like your own child..it's only God that gives children..you don't know that God will protect your own children from any harm if you take care of that child?do it for God that gave you those children and has been protecting your kids from harm

My wife and her family members are driving me crazy. Their involvement in my home is becoming embarrassing. I may have to give my wife the red card asap. Her family poke noses into all my affairs. How I spent my money, who I give my money to, who I visit, and so on. All they want is to continue to expend money on them and live my life for them. I got their daughter a job, her salary isn't enough for them, how can I be taking care of able bodied men who have refused to work with their certificates, looking for jobs with good pays before they'll work, their pensioner father is not also helping matters, very difficult to please. I have made it known to my wife that our marriage contract did not include pleasing her family members but she won't listen then I worked my transfer from Lagos to Abuja, yet they're on my neck. My wife's younger brother is presently in Abuja without any clear cut mission other than to come and monitor my affairs. He called me around 7pm yesterday to tell me he's in Utako and that I should come and pick him from pack, I told him I didn't invite him to Abuja so why should I pick him up? I asked him if he didn't have a mission before coming and why he should get to Abuja before notifying me that he's coming to my place. I shunned him and switched off my phone. I switched on the phone now only to read 3 abusive text messages from my wife and one from her father threatening that if anything happens to his son, I'll be held responsible. My people, can you see my life? My pastor have been trying to broker peace between us before I left for Abuja to no avail, what I intended to do is to settle down here and get her relocated so that if she's a bit far from her family, things will work out. I'll instruct a lawyer to file divorce papers tomorrow, I can no longer take it.

Some people can be so stupid,so the brothers are not ashamed being taken care of by a fellow man?who even goes to someone's house unannounced?my kid sister always tells me she is coming when ever she wants to even though I'm not married,not because I will say no but because she needs to tell me.i have never asked my in-law who lives abroad money even when he asked me if I needed a particular car I said yes and never asked for it again because I'm actually not in need of it.and he talks about it to his friends that his wife's family never ask him for anything..he gives us gifts during Xmas and what ever it is we always call to thank him,big or small.
When I get married,my husband will respect my father and my father will respect my husband..if my father disrespects my husband and after speaking to him he doesn't change then he wouldn't see me in that house again and if my husband does same we will go home and trash it out.anybody that disrespects my husband will have to have to do without me forever.

Now you need to talk to your wife,if her mother or any of her relatives are staying with her they all need to go and that if you ever hear you family matter outside the marriage will come to an end..again none of her family members should ever ask you for money..just give her what you feel will be enough for her and the kids because she is working also and for about the brothers,let them go and get something doing before the important girls and you start taking care of them all.
What ever you say goes from now on and if she refuses then you send her out,what nonsense is that?if it means not going to her family house for years then so be it because that is where they will waiting for you to pay you back for all they feel you did to them..I want to commend you for not allowing the brother come to your house,when she finishes wondering in Abuja let him go back to where ever he came from.and even your wife should not come to Abuja because thesame thing that made you run away from Lagos will come u again.
