FamilyRe: My Husband Or My Figure? by Sapphic: 7:48pm On Feb 05, 2009
sara j:
I have been married to my husband 4 yrs. In the last year I have lost a bit of weight. I used to be size 16. I'm now a size 10. I am very happy with my new figure however he is not. He said he won't sleep with me because he hates my new figure and now he has found a big woman outside to sleep with. She is bigger than I was before I lost the weight, I'v seen her. He says he won't leave her unless I add weight or else I can forget about the marriage. What am I going to do? I am very happy with my current size and at the same time I don't want the marriage to end.
sara j:
Hi. I'd just like to say why would I make up something as stupid as that if it weren't true. Sadly enough it is true. He dosen't think I know but I have found lots of porn dvds hidden all over the house and the women in these are chubby (not that I've looked at them, all I had to do was look at the cover if the dvds') He has also registered with an adult dating site. I saw it on our computers history. On his profile on this website he states that he's looking for women and transexuals and that he's into fetish, group sex etc, etc. I would love my husband to change and be the person he was when I married him but I can't change him. It's up to him to change. I am not going for a divorce either, thats out of the question! I'll just keep out of his way for as long as it takes.
Though I am one of the doubters as to the validity of the combined tales told, I must say that if your stories are true but you are nevertheless determined to hang on to a pathetic excuse of a husband who (1) Has traded you in for a fatter model; (2) Trawls the internet in search of sexual partners; and (3) Has overtly indicated that he wants to shag other males (whether or not dressed as women), you need much more help with your self esteem than dropping a few dress sizes has done for you.
Do you for a minute think that even if you were to blow up to a size 20 that your husband would lose interest in the trannies and other women? You better go looking for a good man who would treat you with the love and respect that a woman should receive.

arramyjay:
I dont see anything thing foolish in all she said, read the complete interview.
I did indeed read the interview, and it still does not take away from the fact that she is a Arrow. Okay, she does not like them comparing her to the Jacksons, that is no reason to go adding the bit that the Jackson parents used their kids. That was jus plain unnecessary.

Raymond88:
You make her seem like an amateur singer, Beyonce is going to be remembered along with the best in the business, and that's a fact!
No one is calling her an amateur, but the fact is that like many talented singers before her, she would be barely remembered. Ask how many 8 to 15 year olds remember Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Aretha Franklin (Before the Obama inauguration), Marvin Gaye, Billie Holliday, Judy Garland, Nat "King" Cole, Bing Crosby etc. Some of them are still alive and many of them were bigger in their day than Beyonce is today. Obviously they all have their places in history, but do not think that Beyonce would take on some "Elvis" status, because even now at the height of her fame, she does not dwarf all the competition. The Jacksons (especially Michael) would always occupy a more prominent place in history due to their strategic positioning and relevance to bringing "black" music into the main stream.

I do hope you are alright. You can live a long and fulfilled life if you take care of yourself and ensure u use the right drugs. Christianity EtcRe: Race Or Religion: Which Is More Important by Sapphic: 4:17am On Feb 05, 2009
For many black people (and I guess other races too), race does not become an issue worthy of major discussion until you live/visit/interact in societies which predominantly consist of races that are different from yours. The market woman in Oshodi will not give a damn about race issues, but she will about religion. On the other hand, there are many Westerners, who do not believe in any religion and in fact scorn every form of religion, and so to them, race is more important. So it will vary from person to person and place to place.

[quote author=nay_low link=topic=12604.msg900428#msg900428 date=1171911880]Here we go with the ignorant Nigerian mentality o! There is speaking in tongues and speaking gibberish and Nigerians have mistaken incoherent babble for the language of the holy ghost.

I remember watching the most false of prophets called Anwuzia (Zoe Ministries) some years ago on TV where he went into one 'iski ribababa bobobo' and I thought he was joking until a cousin said he was speaking in tongues. I coud not believe it. But then in a land of gullibles little wonder Nigerians and there money are easily parted.

HeatFusion:
And what makes you now think otherwise?
Anywhere in my post where I implied that "I AM NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THE ENVIROMENT"?
As much as this is an issue for you, the thread is not about the people in the US or the kyoto protocol, but about what YOU do, concerning the 3 Rs.

Or am I to assume that you're waiting on the ppl in US before you sstart recycling, reusing, and reducing, to save some money in your pocket during this bad economy?
While you have not stated that you are "Not" concerned about the environment, it is clear that your thread is driven my plain economics as opposed to environmental considerations. And FYI, in Europe generally, we are light years ahead in the 3Rs game and it is not majorly driven by pocket considerations.

Im not SURPRISED by the responses is all. wink I dont expect people who dont really want kids to see public breastfeeding as anything other than "gross"
LOL. Do bear in mind that it is the breast exposure and not the kids that bother us (or me). Though I must also add that I always feel like strangling those children who bawl like there is no tomorrow (I am always well chuffed when any wedding I will be attending will not have kids. I am not a big wedding fan and a barely tolerable ceremony is almost always ruined by screaming brats. At last one of my Naija mates who got wed last year saw sense and vetoed any and all children from attending. Now that was a perfect wedding wink LOL).

Don't know about rapist but there is a lot of credit in comparison, based on deviancy/perversion, of homosexuality with incest, bestiality, cross-dressing, transgender, paedophilia, necrophilics etc. The arguments for accepting homosexuality and the strange behaviours/desire/traits are similar or can be easily applied across these other deviants.
Oh Puhleeze. What evidence do you have to support your preposterous postulations? People who are biased find all kind of ludicrous reasons to justify their bias. Evidence more than amply support the fact that the preponderance of acts of insest, bestiality and necrophilia is actually conducted by one sex against the other (i.e. heterosexual sex acts) and not homosexual. How many girls have you ever heard say their mothers sexually abused them? And what is the ratio of guys who say they were sexually abused by their fathers in comparison with girls who make the same claims? (Almost negligible if you can find it).

It's okay if gay people are not your cup of tea, but there is no excuse for making wild unfounded claims in a bid to justify your bias especially when in actual fact, the opposite is true.

Oh! It makes perfect sense. No be our admin. And when I think back to 2005 when the guy was almost practically cap in hand bending over backwards to get people using his forum. Someone needs to start some other better forum. Something along the lines of Yahoo chat where Naija people and Africans generally can meet up and have fun. To be honest, I was more than taken aback when he banned you after that script writing thingy. I was like a lone voice in the wilderness back then (well not lone). I remember the brouhaha we had over plagiarism and copyright. Anyway, Que sera sera. undecided

Secondly, you can't be left out because you are his SON! even if you are a barstard, and he's been taking care of you right from childhood, you would still get something, so IT IS DEFINITE YOU WOULD GET SOMETHING.
Says who? Are you his father's lawyer?

@ Poster, go and work hard and be "stupidly rich" yourself. Right now, you sound like a no good layabout who can't wait for his father to kick the bucket just so he can lay his greedy paws on the inheritance. And there is definitely a reason you will be considered the black sheep of the family. Your dad might be stupidly rich, but I am sure he did not become so by being stupid.

Bottom line = GO AND WORK FOR YOUR OWN MONEY (then you can waste it and gamble it away all you like. If i am your dad, you won't receive anything. Well maybe a simple allowance for the rest of your life).

LOL. Your original "offence" must have been grevious. What is it they say about power and corruption again? undecided Is it him who put Sisikill has been banned on that profile? And is there any reason why you wanted to get back to that ID and stop using this one? And to think of all the support you gave him when he was doing his script writing competition.
