Funny enough, i studied Social work back in UNIBEN but guess what? it's a joke because social work isn't even institutionalized not to mention the fact that the welfare reform bill to allow social workers practice professionally hasn't been passed in the house of senate, And the last time it was eventually passed, Buhari knocked it off saying Nigeria already has a ministry for that under the women affairs and bla bla bla, prior to that i lost faith in the whole socal work thing.


It's a good thing to study the course though as opportunities are abound for you once you leave the shores of Nigeria. One reason am proud studying social work is because social work is an eclectic field of practice hence the ability to comform to cultural diversity while solving societal imbalance.

They still earn below USA and Canada. According to a research I just read, Luxembourg pays teachers better than any other country in the world.
