Education / Re: Meet Young Nigerian Who Is A CEO With Four Patents (photo) by Sard(m): 6:11am On Oct 03, 2017 |
Even before opening the thread, I was certain he couldn't be staying in Nigeria. If he was staying in Nigeria, the topic would probably be "Young Nigerian designed a wingless aeroplane with bamboo trees". 8 Likes 1 Share |
Business / Re: EXCLUSIVE : How To Make Level 2 Seller On Fiverr In A Month As A Nigerian Seller by Sard(m): 5:54am On Oct 03, 2017 |
headboyprince: This particular account is for writing white papers, articles, and web contents. I've been on Fiverr for more than a year, so that probably explains why I've sold so much to a single buyer. He's an American who buys at premium price regularly. Sometimes, he wouldn't buy anything for up to 2 months, only to return and start buying again. The quality of your delivery and the service you offer will affect the repetitiveness of buyers. If you write only résumés, for instance, it'll be a bit hard to get a repeat buyer who buys every time because people don't need new résumés every month. 3 Likes |

ojasweb:This is my most consistent buyer with 69 orders. The highest he ordered was $165; however, most of the orders should be around $50. The only issue I've with him is that he rarely gives 'tip', even despite all his good reviews. 1 Like

I'm a Christian, but your points are just wrapped around religion, Christianity to be specific. The thread should have been created under Religion section, not General section. Anyway, you made some good points. |

Mmttsssewww. All these not-so-funny comedians seff.. There's nothing funny here; just childish display of grownups who're trying too hard to be funny. An epic failure at being funny. |
Crime / Re: Elephant Tusks Intercepted By Customs In Kebbi Along Nigeria/Benin Border (Pics) by Sard(m): 2:06pm On Sep 28, 2017 |
Folaoni: They're often used for many things. Here are some of the discriminate uses of ivories: (Copied directly from Quora) A lot of the smuggled ivory is used to make carvings. Some are also, more rarely used in scrimshaw, which is usually done on whale ivory. And of course, all the usual jewellery that people love, like necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, amulets etc. Before the 1930s, the white keys on most pianos used to be made from ivory, or which one source was ivory from elephant tusks. This is because ivory is able to absorb perspiration well, so the keys tend not to stick to fingers when a person plays for long hours. You'll be relieved to know that most piano companies have long discontinued this practice of using ivory- piano keys today are usually made of plastic instead. The ancients had more practical uses for ivory and used it to make objects for daily use. For example, combs, horns (the kind that you can blow), and spear tips. https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-uses-of-elephant-tusks 1 Like |
Car Talk / Re: Pictures Of A Fulani Nairalander On Dinner Date With Her Cars by Sard(m): 7:15am On Sep 28, 2017 |
But why are y'all hating on her Nairaland has turned many people into tribal bigots, so it's not like she has done something most of you haven't done. But I guess being a woman from an infamous tribe with little online presence makes her more vulnerable. 8 Likes |

Bleaching should not be condoned, but she looks good in both the before and after pictures. Personally, I would rather have her as the black beauty though. |
Business / Re: What Can I Do With 200k Pls Advice by Sard(m): 1:02pm On Sep 26, 2017 |
While I understand your stance on betting, you don't seem to justify your reasons for avoiding online stuffs. Does Islam prohibit making money online legitimately? That 200k seems a bit small, but you can look around you ro see the things that are lacking in your area and supply them. |

This one is not loud-mouthed like that cuppy. But the man sef get plenty girls sha, but he seems contented with what he has. That's the power of education and knowledge. An ignorant poor man would probably still be looking for more males he would leave his "nothingness" for when he's dead. 14 Likes 2 Shares |
