@ Emperoh,
TKB and Eastbay need temper management. . . . . . . .They must be the worst knee-jerking United fans i have ever met. What is so wrong with SAF's formation against Villa? Had Rooney taken his chances, we won't be here discussing whether this formation worked or not. United had all the possession, created many chances but the players let Fergie down with their atrocious passing of the ball and terrible decision-making in the final third.
Berbatov had his surgery barely 2 weeks ago so leaving him on the bench is understandable. He was also on the bench against West Ham. He missed the games against Chelsea and Pompey. Michael Owen played 90 mins against Wolfsburg away from home and he is 29 so his exclusion fron the first team is also justified.
United played a lone striker when we demolished Arsenal 4-0 at OT some seasons ago. I did not see tkb417 here complaining about the result. United played with a lone striker against Liverpool when we tonked em 4-0 at OT in 2007/8. . Eastbay did not complain about the formation then but now(with the benefit of their blurry hindsight) they are talking bollocks.
@ No2Atheism,
Berbatov is a striker but he is the deep-lying kinda striker a la Totti, Bergkamp and Kanu Nwankwo. Their greatest strength is to link the play, hold the ball and play in their team mates to open up chances. He is not the poacher type a la Owen, Eduardo, Ruud or Etoo. |

Siena: He was never British - he didn't take the neccessary steps to become a citizen. If you remain married to a Brit for 50 years, and don't apply for citizenship, you don't automatically become British on the strength of being married to a Brit. I think that is where these people are missing the point. They think once you are in the country for more than 10 years. . . . .A British passport will just fly from the Home Office into their cribs and bang. . .they become a British citizen. |

Siena: A prolific offender, driving without a licence after being disqualified, is a potential killer. The fact no one was hurt is irrelevant. Or do you suggest the law waits till he kills, or maims someone before they take action?
DUI is a criminal offence. Driving offences are often civil. Driving whilst disqualified, under the influence, or without a valid insurance certificate converts civil to criminal. No half measures. Why would he show a blatant disregard for the law, just because he won 5 gold medals? The law is no respecter of status in the UK, which I think our country Nigeria needs to emulate.
A criminal conviction can trigger deportation, that's the way it is. Thanks for your post, man. . . . . Nigerians can be too thick to grasp basic things. What has staying in 12 years in Britain gotta do with this? Wasn't Snoop Dogg deported from Heathrow and was told never to return to the UK again? |

vislabraye: British Laws must be ridiculous, I just imagine whether it's the same in US. If for instance Obama commits a heinous crime after he leaves office, that means he can be deported back to Kenya. Or let's say Arnold Schwarzenegger commits murder, then he should be sent back to Austria. I really don't understand the Brits. Obama carries an American passport. . . . . . .This Naija man does not own one. The fact that he has spent 40000000 years in the UK does not make him a British citizen. |

gongo aso: @eldee and co It's apparent some people will never understand what the LAW really is. Aeons of breaking traffic laws and rules in Nigeria has sunken into their existence they see no need to obey simple law. The man broke a law, he's facing the music, country of origin or previous exploits will not help him out. We are only crying foul cos he's a Nigerian. . . . he's represented them b4. . . so. . . he can drive when he was told not to You can't but wonder how some peeps reason so crappily I think i just have to follow your advice. These noise-makers cannot patch on ma wavelength. They believe one can only become a criminal when he carries a gun to rob. |
Romance › Re: Me,my Homeboy And This Chick by Sauron1: 2:13am On Dec 15, 2009 |
rhymz: Hey Wats Up playaz, It's your Boy rhymz.Well homies,I am in a kinda mixed up situation here,i mean this is like a kinda drama going on btw these three characters,Me,My very close homeboy and a Chick! Lemme dish dis out in bits and pieces. There's is this chick who has been falling helplessly for my homeboy,I fink they started out at their place of work.Initially my homie wasn't that serious wif the gal may be becoz of the age difference,so he was always giving her the impression of a bigbrother instead of a lover. But this chic even though young didn't mind, she kept on giving my homie signs, the other day she sent him some very salacious txt msgs, infact,it has become her modus operandi lately. Meanwhile,my homie has a gal who is a bit uptight abt s*x but he's serious wif her. However,my homie has a problem when it comes to expressing his feelings to a chic, this is where I come in. My Homie had once introduced me to this gal when I dropped by his office for some biz, coincidentally this gal stays in my Hood. . . We got talking but nothing happened,I decided to respect my guy and stopped at talking. Then one day my homie & I were in the company of other friends in the neighborhood and then she suddenly appeared & greeted everyone before she left. Then came the gists. One of em guyz gave us a blow to blow account of how dis chick has had flings that culminated to some raunchy sex and stuf, and there I was looking at my homeboy, his countenance didn't xpres any surprise or shock. Then I decided to probe him further by throwing at him a quizzical look, there and then he admitted to having knowledge of it. . .I was like Geeez. . .homie!! Are U sure U ve got blood rolling in & outta ya sugarstick??All he said was yeah yeah but U know am not that kinda guy & I was like whatever,I don't see nothing wrong getting a little bump 'n' grind. Then I told him I would like to get a lil piece of the action with d gal. . .He was like no problem niggi & even gave me some tips then I set out for work.I collected her number & invited her to the house, she said no poo,all these went on right in front of ma homie,he was like cool niggi,U go dawg!! On D day,she came over,we had a lil chit-chat,then I went out to get her sth to drink, unluckily for me,my homie had just arrived 4rm work and just went in straight up.By the time I came in,I noticed she became a lil uneasy & my homeboy just resigned himself to ma room.I tried everything to get her relaxed but it just didn't work, then I decided to call my homeboy to the parlour probably to douse her uneasiness,my homeboy even worsened the situation with his very unusual & unnatural reticence,i just had to give up men! After then,I decided to change strategy and acted like I wasn't interested anymore. Now I fink there's another chance to strike,I ve just invited her over under the pretext that I wanted us to do biz she came over dis nyt,saw my homie & acted indifferent likewise my homie, there seem to be some kinda misunderstanding btw em both. . . . And am finking should I strike now,I mean should I take advantage of the situation,it is not like my homie is her boo but one thing that strikes me in all these is my homie's ambivelence and caprices towards the gal.One minute he's acting like he wants to get her laid & the next minute he's acting like he doest give 2 fckz abt her. This has made me question his honesty towards giving me his approval. Now am finking whether to go on & perfect my own agenda without his knowledge coz I know the gal in question is read to roll ballz wif me if I play my cards right. But I do not want to hurt my homie's feelings or undermine his chances wif the gal but again he aint sure abt what he wants to do wif the gal. . . . Guyz what do U fink?? Should I go on and do what a playa has got to do. . .he's already told me to go on if I want but his ambivalence tells me he means the opposite. . .he might even see this thread coz he is a NLander as well but is usually in the auto& computer section. What's your take fellow Playerz. NB: playa haterz can as well drop their shyt too as long as it aint oozing much. . .lol You have queered your own pitch. . . . . Once your homie agreed you can go ahead and nail this babe. . . . . . . .The plans, strategy and plot should be entirely yours and none of em should be getting to your homie. U can tell him about it AFTER your escapades and NOT before it. Women love their privacy and each time this babe shows up in your crib. . . . .BANG, your homie is there. What do you expect? U want her to open her legs when she's conscious a 3rd party is there lying in wait to pounce on her after you are done? How old are you? 12?? |

honeric01: so he's now a nigerian but when he was winning trophies for them, he was a Briton. to hell with them all As if this will stop his deportation. ok, lets say you don't need that to buy a car but they were still the same person that gave him the license when they knew he was disabled and might be a problem to the public driving. He might have gotten the driving license before he became disabled. U are not sure of what actually transpired so don't speculate. like i said before, he's no longer a Briton after he has been 100% exploited. good point Mr Briton. It was his fault he allowed himself to be expoloited. He musta been the one that dragged himself to where they were screening athletes. Coaches don't go into people's house to beg em to come and do screening. yes, a traffic offense, didn't kill anyone, don't use the word "CRIME" like he killed someone or despoiled someone, all the offense outlined on the article and traffic related so is deportation the capital punishment for traffic offense? U don't have to KILL to be a criminal. The laws are spelt out boldly. . . . . .U cannot drive without a driving license and if you do and you get caught. . . . .be prepared to do the time. |

honeric01: so it's okay if they twist their law and even international law and do as they please with a foreigner they exploited just to satisfy themselves? Stop being difficult and listen attentively. If a foreigner commits a crime that attracts a Prison sentence, the judge can authorise his deportation order. It's a matter of the judge's discretion. This Naija man was slammed with a deportation order cos he's a prolific offender. SIMPLE!!!! That is the law of the land. so you can be allowed to drive in UK with driving license? a car would be sold to you without showing them your driving license? Who says you need a driving license in the UK to buy a car? Which planet are you from? you can successfully live in UK for more than 12 years and just 5 months in prison with all these attitude, is that what you are trying to paint or is it that uk is just too f.ucked up that anything goes? If anything goes in the UK, the Naija man would have escaped a Prison sentence and a deportation order. It is very simple. Do the crime, do the TIME. The Naija man committed a crime and he deserves his punishment. Whether he's married to a Brit or not does not matter here if he has not converted his ILR into a British passport. There are people carrying their ILRs for more than 40 years and they cannot convert it into a British passport because of their criminal records and the compulsory test applicants now take to get it. |

honeric01: man, try to always make concrete points, he went to an international competition without the country knowing he's not eligible and you are excusing them for that? did he pick himself? and when he was applying, did he blindfold them all before they chose him? if something like this happened, how are you sure this is not a mistaken identity case? It is their country. . . . . .They can twist their laws as they so wish. Of course, the system is not fool proof but the real McCoy is that this man was tried in a court of Law and was found Guilty. Definitely, his mitigating factor that he once represented Britain in a competition woulda been brought up in Court and the judge can't be arsed about it. He committed a crime and that has put paid to his hopes of ever getting a British passport. lol, so who issued him his driving license? ghost or he stole it? What if he didn't possess a driving license before driving? What if he already had a license before he got disabled? |

How is it a crime if i say i am British when i am not to a Basketball coach? How does that affect national security? Do you know the huge number of Nigerian students who avoided paying international fees in various Universities in this country by lying they were born British? No formal checks are done for such schitzos. You are what you say you are. The screening required to represent Britain in any Sporting event is not intense. Representing Britain in a competition is NOT life threatening. Driving carelessly is life threatening and intensive background checks are done to fish out the bad eggs in cases like this. |
