I don't need to prove he drove under the influence.
I stay in this city and i know that is what drivers get and tell you what. . . . .He musta been a prolific offender to get such sentence.
When a crime of this nature is committed. . . . .There are mitigating factors the judge tends to look at before delivering his sentence.
Is he a first offender? Is he having trouble with his marriage and reh reh reh? For this man to have spent 5 months in Prison. . . . .He musta driven under the influence.

Age cheats can never be considered criminals in Nigeria because it's a national phenomenon.
I know enough old men in various ministries who lied about their ages so they don't retire early. . . . . .Parents lie about the age of their kids so they can either get into school earlier than others or for whatever reasons.

Pls dont say that again on this NL  cheesy , the truth be told, no judge will ever say that, i know this people very well. Even the wife will never allow that. If a white lady have a baby for you, just believe that the baby is for her as she will never allow you to take the baby back home forever unless u escape with the baby
And i can also cite several cases where a criminal was sent back despite having a British wife and a kid here.
That the judge decided to waive the deportation order is out of compassion and his discretion. . . . .There's no law that says a criminal who has a British wife cannot be deported.

that answer is wrong, he's now a Briton and cant be sent anywhere or have you seen or read anything like that before? (i might be wrong but i haven't seen or read one before)
U don't automatically become a British citizen immediately you marry a Briton. . . . .Stop spreading chaff here.
It takes about 3 years before that process of becoming a British season can be complete.
During that transition period, if he commits any serious offence. . . . .He will get deported to Lagos.

This man married a Brit. . . . . .He has to wait 2 years after marrying her to get his ILR. . . . .
Then he must wait another 12 months before he can convert ILR to a British passport and that is if he does not have a criminal record.
If he does, his application to become a British citizen will be declined and if he commits any offence that lands him in Prison, he can be deported.

This man went to Prison for 5 months.
Obviously, his crime was more than driving without a license.
He has been caught several times for careless driving so he deserves to be deported.

An average of 12 children die on the streets of UK every day via road accident.

deportation to where? with his wife (Briton) and daughter (Briton) he's been in UK more than 12 years and married to a Briton with kid.
If he has not converted his IDL to a British passport then he can be deported.

Look at this man, the State can even take back their British passport these days if it's a serious crime.

You must be kidding on the highlighted.
Well the article did not state that he drove under the influence of anything,
Is traffic offence a criminal offence?
If you drive under the influence, you will be arrested on the spot and will go to court.
If you drive in the UK without driving documents, it's a civil case. You don't even have to be in Court and the maximum punishment you can get is some few points off your driving license(when u eventually get it) and some sorta fine.
This man drove under the influence.

I believe their are other things that was not stated in the article otherwise traffic offence can never deport a legal residence, it can only get you a fine and some points on your DL.
Only a criminal offence coulda triggered his deportation order.
I doubt any Magistrate Judge/Crown Court judge will give a deportation order to someone based on a civil case.
This issue is as clear as new glass. This man broke the law and i think he deserves to be deported.

Yes, it's true that it is the aje-kpakos who hit on a girl like that. Unfortunately too many aje-kpakos have reached London and the western world. Pity, that.
But the 2 separate grope incidents at the 2 weddings which I mentioned earlier were both done by what I thought were cultured Nigerian males, which I am non-too pleased about.
Sadly the one thing they all had in common (both the aje-kpakos and the "cultured" Nigerian men) is that they were all Nigerian born and raised.
Never had this done to me by UK born/raised Naijas - I think they just follow the British rule "Don't touch a women without her permission" a lot better than Nigerian born/bred males.
Sorry to say - but it's true.
You are talking bollocks. . . . . . .
Sexual assault cuts through race, age, tribe, sex, social class and what not.

I also think Nigerian born/bred males have a tendency to think that if you smile at a woman and she blanks you, glares at you - she is simply playing hard to get and all you need to do is pursue harder - whereas a UK born/bred Nigerian is more likely to see that for what it really is - sexual aggression, and therfore leave her alone.
Stop rolling with bush boys and uncultured species.

Furthermore, I have observed that Nigerian born/raised males are unable to tell the difference between platonic friendliness/joviality on the one hand and sexual interest/availability on the other. They mistakenly assume that if a women is friendly/jovial this is a sexual green light for them to go ahead and make a move on her - which it is not. This mistaken assumption can be found in all cultures/nationalities of men but more so in Nigerian born/bred men.
It is for this reason that I decided to stop being friends with Nigerian raised males. I now treat them with a polite, but very distant standoffishness.
I hope this helps in understanding where I am coming from.
I doubt Naija raised boys want to be your friend as well so the feeling is perfectly mutual.

Whatever happened to respecting you opponent!!!
Well sha. . . . .i ain't blaming anyone for this loss. . . i just chose to see the fact that Villa deployed the tactics that suite them!!
So anyone thinking Owen or Berba or anyone was gonna play like a genius should pls realise u don't have plonkers as opponents
If we won, would have been debating on why he started who and who?
Like i was telling tkb417 yesterday, there was nothing wrong with the formation or the personnel we played.
Had Rooney's effort sailed into the net instead of hitting the bar, we wouldn't be here discussing why we played this n that.
All those stuffs are hindsight analysis. . . . . . .

A team can have the best formation, best 11 and still lose a game to minnows.
Shit can happen. United gave it a go and the only thing wrong on Saturday were the passes. Blimey. . . . .the passes were atrocious.
Giggs, Carrick, Rooney, Valencia, Anderson, etc. . . . . . .We made it much easier for Villa with the terrible passing of the ball but the result wasn't catastrophic.

He was accused of careless driving a couple of times . . . he's a potential murderer.
It's so obvious that the press is trying to play down the offences to sell papers.

Driving under the influence is not the same thing as driving without a insurance . . . one's a criminal offence, one's civil.
With criminal offences, the law is quite clear

If a foreign national is over 17 years old, has been convicted of a criminal offence which carries with it a prison sentence and the court which sentenced the foreign national recommended that he be deported once he has served his sentence.

It's the law . . . when people start cutting corners it could be harmful to the legal system.
No one's forcing you to stay in the UK, but, as long as you've not settled your passport, don't commit a criminal offence . . . c'est fini.

The law applies to everyone from Obama to the doctors, lawyers, athletes, miscreants, everyone.
The law is there for a reason . . . it's there to protect the other residents.
You forget that the person he hits in one of the DUI cases could be a 7-year old Nigerian girl.

Sauron,
are you being selective?
what about the miss from 6 yards?Would Friedel have been in any position to save that as well?
Carrick was the culprit here too. . . . .
The pass was played just behind Berbatov and he had to adjust to hit the ball. . . .The ball should be arriving in front of Berba(not behind)!!!
A very difficult technique. . . . .He scored from a similar situation against Sunderland and Blackburn so he can be excused.

Right up there with the plonker extra-ordinaire.Nani.
We wasted 30 mill on a dud who wants to play midfield instead of upfront.
He has been our best striker this season up until the match against Blackburn when he copped a knee injury.
Berbatov is a class act. . . . . .Had he started against Villa, he woulda conjured something before they decided to start being defensive and closing down the spaces Berbatov loves to exploit.

Before u lecture the ABUs, call our fellow Manc TKB and lecture him as such!!
SAF and Rooney has been the most foolish people in his world cos of this loss!!
All my appeals to him to see Villa as an improved team has been hit with one form of i don't know about Football to the other!!
You wanna lecture me about tkb? We fight every weekend on BB Chat.
He has the temperament of Abacha. . . . .Left to tkb. . . . .SAF, Rooney, Giggs, Valencia, Rio, Vidic, Nani, Berbatov and Scholes woulda been executed.
I have never known any fan like him. He wants to win all the 38 league games in a season. Nothing concerns him with injuries or bad form.

United didn't deserve to lose on Saturday. It wasn't as if Villa pilloried us like Chelsea sodomised Arsenal, it was just a bad day in the office.
In the 2nd half, Villa defended with their lives. Ashley Young became a right back and i cannot blame them for deploying such tactics.
At the end of the day, it was up to United to open them up and get a goal.

Better days lie ahead. I expect SAF to play Owen, Berba and Roon tomorrow.
I think it's time we get those boys into a shooting practice scheme.
Can't wait to have Fletcher back in the midfield too. . . . . .His bursting runs was missed on Saturday.

Very abnormal. . . . . .
With the way ABUs cream themselves over Ronaldo. . . . . . .United should be 8th on the table.
Without VDS, Hargreaves, Rio and several other players who have been injured at one point or the other. . . .We should be 12th at best.

Arsenal still rant that the loss of Eduardo cost em the EPL title in 2007/8.
Liverpool fans believe 100% the loss of Alonso is the reason why they are 8th on the table.

United lost the best player in the world and are still doing better than when he was here. . . . . .United are the only member of the TOP FOUR who are still in all the competitions they entered for this season despite their injury woes. . . . .The game against Wolfsburg last week was the 16th different defence partnership Fergie had deployed this season.

United is a BIG TEAM and only SAF can work under this bizarre condition.
