handsome man - thank God on ur behalf |
Shared by a Lawyer friend. Ok, I'd like to share this story. It's humorous that anytime I need to go to a court that is really far from home, I wake up early enough to get there before the court sits but if the court is close I still manage to be almost late or a little late. ♂ So it was a "little late" to court day and I had really hope that my matter would be called early enough so I can head out. Alas! The cause list had 27 suits and mine was number 25!♂ I wasn't happy and thought I'd have to sit through this whole suits doing nothing! But this was one of the interesting days in court(it's a matrimonial court). A matter was called Chinese v Chinese (I can't give the real names), and a young lady looking good and beautiful stepped out as the Petitioner. In my mind, I said to myself if this woman came here because the husband is promiscuous, the man needs check up. There is nothing all the slay queens and side hen has that the wife doesn't possess, physically. Well, she has filed for divorce stating she has not seen her husband since last year November, but that wasn't the real reason for her filing for divorce, here it is: She has been married for 13 years and she has only had sexual intercourse with her husband 12 times There is a full story behind this. https://www.divorcecourt.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/dc_logo_final_mobile_v5.png cc: lalasticlala |

booz:100mm thick precast isn't small - just allow it set well for about a week before lifting them and Yes, the polythene / cement bag is to prevent them sticking to the surface...... Goodluck |

earthrealm:That wld be structural drawings NOT Architecture (remember we dealing with Beams, Slab & Irons majorly). If you've got it - send it - BUT it won't be ready today... |
earthrealm:the calculation can't be done without detailed or working drawings - just giving the area isn't enough - but what I can do with the area is apply a formular and tell you how much you would spend. eg, concrete = 200 x 20k = 4 million ditto for Rebar..... |
japhethGold:Morning - Remember your plan, hope its in progress? |
Teewhy2:uwc - I forgot to add that we needed less than 1 bag of cement to achieve this work - compare that to casting and reinforcing the normal chamber cover. would have cost us much if we are to achieve this quality and thickness of 100mm (50cm poly + 30cm poly + 20cm (cover) great value for money.... and all we needed were offcuts of polystyrene. thanks Teewhy |

STEP 6 - GET IT WELL DRESSED BY AN EXPERIENCED HAND..... ![]()
|
STEP 5 - I joined both polystyrene and ready to finish it. Note: The 5cm was placed beneath and the 3cm thick poly used to cover it. (See the finished work on next page)
|
STEP 4 - I added similar mortar between the polystyrene so they can equally bond together with the rebar in-between
|
STEP 3 - I added cement / plaster sand mortar to the manhole top so the polystyrene can bound with it (like plastering mix)
|
STEP 2 - I made a small indent for 12mm rebars to strengthen over the opening - so it can carry human weight shd there be need to stand or sit on it. The alignment of the rebar depended on the opening below it...
