PoliticsRe: The Final Battle For The South-west by sbeezy8: 10:49pm On Apr 13, 2011
If anything i guarantee that their will be violence in the guber/pres election in the SW.

Nothing changed those states ACN won were already occupied by ACN govs

bankole, omisore, iyabo knew they were the lambs. prolly gon be ministers or ambassador anyway

Saraki cant be done away with yet cause without Saraki, Kwara state is going to Buhari.
PoliticsRe: The Final Battle For The South-west by sbeezy8: 10:37pm On Apr 13, 2011
^^^ i think that pdp will rig oyo or ogun states in the next one.

obj wont let pdp die that easily theyre not fooling anyone.

they are right in asking him, PDP ZONING IS NOT DEAD

I know one thing PDP's candidate in 2015 will not be a southerner other than GEJ, PDP is now majority north holding more seats than south.

GEJ was right in saying he will not answer aswell but actually its a party issue. why even go to GEJ, is it not the delegates who nominate the candidates? right now north has more delegates

either way i expect mass decamping from north or  south east.

nigeria might break up 2015 seems like it  wink
PoliticsRe: The Final Battle For The South-west by sbeezy8: 10:13pm On Apr 13, 2011
not true . with ACN seats gaining in the SW, the ACN train pulled in more votes. from buhari and GEJ. goodluck has support in the SW but def not more than buhari or ribadu. id say about the same

most SW voters are not really concerned with this election its clear SW voters dont take this election seriously if they did they would have mobolised as a voting block. but they didnt!

If GEJ wins there will be no sad faces in the SW cause all are split on candidates. i kno ribadu supports gej supporters and buhar supporters but none of them appear that passionate about either candidate.

GEJ will win 2011, i dont doubt that.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Flown To Abuja In Presidential Jet by sbeezy8: 6:46pm On Apr 13, 2011
i expected PDP northerners to decamp come 2015

with no or very little PDP SW north would be the majority but NC deciding factor.

Justcash:
GEJ will hand over to a candidate from the SE. By then, Tinubu must have gone through what Atiku went through under OBJ.  Fashola must have turned into a PDP governor. Then he will be a vice President after GEJ. He will be more influential than Tinubu. The Almajiri up North may have learnt the art of blowing themselves up in anger from Northern Politicians that will be feeling deprived. There will be a Movement for the Emancipation of Arewa (MEA) *Sounds like a record label* ! somebody say Issseeeeeeeeeeeee!  grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
It is One Nigeria or Nothing O!
Beaf:
Thats gonna be the likely tone of the conversation, just that I exagerated quite a bit.
For 2015? The fact that GEJ tossed out those born to rule folk and refused to sign their silly zoning arrangement says a lot. 2015 is an open field, but my spirit tells me the SE will clinch it.
hahah you guys are dreaming like hell  Justcash said GEJ will hand over to SE you said it is open field but your spirit is saying SE.

lol who votes - ?
PoliticsRe: Yoruba Voters Are Wiser Than Igbo Voters by sbeezy8: 4:56pm On Apr 13, 2011
DONT BRING YORUBAS NAME INTO ANYTHING

IF IGBO WANT TO ENDORSE GEJ/PDP SO BE IT. they can vote for who ever they like APGA PDP PPA or even the republican party of southafrica I dont give a damn,

dont bring yorubas name in northing.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Flown To Abuja In Presidential Jet by sbeezy8: 4:53pm On Apr 13, 2011
^^^ that convo makes no sense even i know that GEJ isnt the boss type of guy.

the best thing ACN could have done is stand on their own

beaf what you think about 2015 for president GEJ?

Yeah I know. Tinubu will keep ACN intact, presumably get GEJ to throw two more of his allies under the bus (David Mark and the Saraki family) and plan for 2015. Wash, rinse, repeat in 2015. . . but from a much stronger position then than now.

I don't care too much about the gov't appointments personally; I think their value is a bit overstated (but I guess I've already made this opinion known.)
people in PDP are easily expendible i think he learnt that nosense fron Obj, when you look at PDP had nothing to lose in the SW that much any besides votes.

but 4/6 states were not PDP anyway so the wins by ACN were not really that surprising honestly. Now is the SW turns to like really sit out and examine this and that. in 2015 the Middle belt will probably be in the same position I gurantee it.

2015 is going to be a tough one for GEJ cause in PDP you have   the nc, nw, ne and se aswell as the ss who are going to be saying obj had 8 yrs so gej should have 8 aswell calling for presidency.

hes going to do alot of throwing under the bus in the next yrs starting with PDP people in his camp mainly  north and southeasterns if he plans on running again.

tinubu hasnt been gov in 4 yrs no ones gonna lock him up for anything.

If it were to be Obasanjo would have done it when he was president for 8 years.

NASS is irrelevant. PDP northerners would decamp if Buhari wins.

Anyway, I'm interested to see what concessions Tinubu extracts from GEJ.

The man is so desperate to be president, is he not? grin grin grin
I dont think Tinubu was looking for that much. Even before the eletion process began GEJ did give ACN people spots.

aganga was nominated by acn as well as a few others.

to me I see Tinubu looking beyond 2011. He like many are expecting an unrest PDP in 2015. either way its only good for ACN. PDP didnt want Tinubu to join CPC that was the main point, no nessecarily ACN joing PDP if you know what i mean.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Flown To Abuja In Presidential Jet by sbeezy8: 4:13pm On Apr 13, 2011
ACN is still strong but why in the world would tinubu align with Buhari when the NASS are majority PDP?

makes no sense

If cpc had done better in nass election could be a diifferent story but.

GEJ is ok for now 2015 is a different story. cause PDP wont last after that election esp with which zone will get PDP ticket.

ACN played it fairly smart.

Kobojunkie:
If Tinubu becomes VP to Buhari, Buhari automatically looses more than half the support he currently has. But anyways, that is a non-option . . . you do not switch VP's like that.
smartest comment on here people act as if bakare will step down without a fight same with ribadu and the othre ACN top notch guys who are against it.

i dont think tinubu would risk it. he obviously listens to the circle around him.

ACN has nothing to lose by staying with ribadu. ACN might lose 2011 but 2015 we expect MASS DECMPING FROM PDP and it being an even weaker party PCP  not shiot

buhari is washed up

You two are unserious. I really suspect that most of these so-called yorubas on this forum are actually Northerners.
I am not an ACN member but if Tinubu becomes the VP, do you think he will be look out for the best interest of the SW or his pockethuh C'mon guys, I agree GEJ is clueless and all and I do not support him but I like a Buhari/ Bakare ticket than Buhari/Tinubu. I do not want any merger, we need parties with ideologies not parties that pacify. ACN is the most advanced of them all but being seen as an "industrialist" party so what will be the point of merginghuh If GEJ wins, fine we move on. If Buhari wins, BETTER for Nigeria. Most people are voting for Buhari because of his anti-corruption stance and because he has no "form of god-fatherism" or attachment to any cabal (be it sw cabals). Now, if Tinubu accepts this, then he has forfeited that aura.
pocket first sw 2nd haha no but really only way it'll work is if buhari runs on acn banner his cpc senator along with anpp decamp to acn and fola adeola is vp other than that nope not going to happen.

i doubt the story anyway

PoliticsRe: Igbo Leaders In North Back Jonathan by sbeezy8: 4:46pm On Apr 12, 2011
step1:
The problem with you is that you think "Yorubas hate igbos" or "are trying to bring down igbos" which by the way is far from the truth. A political unity is happening between yorubas and igbos daily. This unity is hard to achieve because of people like you and that is why it has to be taken step by step. It may take years but it would happen. Your Ohaneze have been disgracing igbos in Nigeria; you need to see how people including the igbos in lagos view this people. They are a total disgrace to the igbo population according to my igbo family members words.

The sooner you and others like you stop viewing the west as your enemy but your friends the better it is for both igbos and yorubas.
hell no i dont hate igbos but i sure dont love dem its like w/e

igbos are like hausa - im mean they are just there

theres nothing igbo can offere SW honestly cause we in d southwest not voting for chime okahim or amaechi over fash baba mimimko and tinubu

Stop the lies. We all know the Yoruba are the major roadblock to an Igbo presidency. The war is still fresh in your minds while the Northerners have moved on.
how are they a road block? i said yorubas are going to vote for thier own whats the big deal. the war has been over we dont care for it our point is yoruba is not stepping down for or stopping igbo from election and becoming president.

just dont count on any southern alliances you got ur bros in d north

if hausas want igbo to be president they should do it. wink
PoliticsRe: Igbo Leaders In North Back Jonathan by sbeezy8: 3:54pm On Apr 12, 2011

Godman_n:
whatever anyone says, Igbos will be back at the right time. It is a law of nature.

As for my brothers in the north running after Jonathan, I wish them well. Luckily, they will be the first to shout when their sins come after them.

I hate tibalism. Even if I am to be a tribalist, Jonathan is simply not Igbo. He is Ijaw. Igbos fought the war without Ijaw support. I take the Ikweres and the Ikas in River and Delta as Igbos but not Ijaws.

Yorubas have told me severally that Igbos will never rule Nigeria. Ijaws have said that several times. No Hausa has said that to me. So, I would rather vote an Hausa if I am to judge based on tribal sentiments than an Ijaw man

But outside tribalism, Buhari is the best for Nigeria. I see no reason why those Igbos in the North will troop to Jonathan but for ignorance. Of course we call them Ommatas. They have the money but lack intelligence. Politics means only stealing of public wealth to them.

Politics to me is the acts of organising my society. This Jonathan can simply not do better than Buhari.

When will my generation get this message. When will my Igbos get it.

Nigeria shall one day be free and emancipated.
complete nosense ive never heard of yorubas saying igbos will never rule nigeria. ive only heard igbos better do it without yorubas support but depend on hausas wink votes cause they have thier own candidates to push when the time is right.
