(I wont advise or urge a recourse to Greek etc because I fear many are getting deceived when they choose the most self-serving of the many synonyms given by Language dictionaries)

That quote was one of the terms of the Old Covenant which after the people of Israel heard, they replied thus:

Exodus 24:7

7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Meaning it became binding (including the repercussion of unfaithfulness) on all the Israelites and them alone.

The old covenant and its terms was fulfilled by Jesus Christ after which He ushered in the New Covenant as prophesied centuries before. Hence, you neither find the Apostles of Jesus either then or now, killing idol worshippers, rather it has been the other way round.

Op, I suggest you avoid the source of this new discovery! Take a look at Jesus' message to the gentile churches in Revelations 2 & 3 to understand that these are days when, as written in Jude, men shall turn the grace of God into lasciviousness!
Let me give you some samples:bear in mind that this was spoken by Jesus Himself long after Ascension

Revelations 3:1-5

1. And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.(majority were backslidden, meaning had lost the life they once received when they got saved)

2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
( The use of the phrase, 'as a thief' concerns not the saved but the unsaved and unprepared)

4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
(Visible Holiness by the cleansing of the Spirit remains a condition of walking with Him on earth and seeing Him at last)

Besides op, what will be the usefulness of the continual call to watchfulness and sobriety spoken by Christ and His apostles? Why did Jesus say to strive to enter in at the strait gate?

I perceive you like the man who taught you this but for your soul's sake and for an eternity at stake, consider these with an open mind. If a teaching is to be accepted, then it must not contradict/ dispense with other portions of scripture.

Matthew 25: 12,13

12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Was the coming of Christ here referring to the Cross then?! Was it not referring to His second coming?!

I wonder how you will see this and still make claims as the op! When a person is told I know you not the result is," depart from Me" to Heaven? NEVER.

You even went ahead to discount/dispense with all the four gospels and the teachings therein just because of the heresy?! Claiming they have nothing to do with grace?!
True there is no condemnation to those in Christ but remember its with a condition that they walk after the Spirit and not the flesh. Meaning if we claim to believe in Christ but our lives are filled with the works of the flesh, we deceive ourselves!
I submit that the op looks like a disguise for the Broad way!

The basic definition of evil is, "being or becoming or aiming to achieve something apart and/or separate from God, but with the goal of grasping a semblance of His attribute(s)".(James 4:13-16). The offshoots (murder, lying, fornication etc) thereof are just the results.

The evil had its origin from the devil. Isaiah 14 shows this. The temptation of Eve was also along the lines as recorded in Isaiah 14: gain a semblance of the Divine attribute apart from God.

Just like the book of Enoch, this is another pseudephigraphia (non-inspired, literary works that quote/ adopt popular names to endear the book to some people) The fact that it was written around 1500 AD about 4 centuries after Barnabas Paul's companion passed on , proves this.

@ op, I would not take him serious who indicates an interest in my faith simply because he was wowed by the grandeur of my church building and the wealth displayed by members; Why? such feelings fade but only heart conviction based on knowledge and appreciation of the truth stands the test of time. Just what I was saying (highlighted)! Perhaps if your position regarding these things is unknown, I would have answered. Besides, what's your purpose of questioning and scrutinizing? To gain more knowledge of that which you already concluded to be an absurdity? Why the stress? Since you have not 'swallowed' why not let those that have 'swallowed' make their own discovery? Is there any repercussion for 'swallowing'? And since your belief is that after death nothing more, it therefore makes no difference who 'swallowed' or who didnt! Don't you think?

To start with, what benefits have we enjoyed therefrom but to be critics of each other to the point of murder? Especially when the tempter did not tell Eve that God's knowledge of good and evil commences with knowledge of what's in the heart and not the sight of the eyes? God's purpose for man was an assessment of issues from His viewpoint in union with Him! Not an innate but flawed ability apart from Him.

(2). When Adam and Eve did not obey God's instructions, he sent them out of the garden because they weren't considered deem fit with the new knowledge they have. Why would the devil who has the knowledge prior to the sin be allowed in the garden that isn't deem fit for people who has the knowledge of good and evil?

The purpose for sending them out of the Garden is different from the alleged (highlighted). This was the reason:
Genesis 3:22b,23a
and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: 23 therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden,
God's desire to have man redeemed informed that severe but necessary action otherwise, redemption would not be possible.

(3). God cursed both the man, woman and the snake only as recorded in the good book. How come other animals suffer from these curses too like death, tilling of the soil, pain during childbirth etc?

Remember that Adam was to have dominion over all creation. But after the fall, sin and death came in and man became a servant of both (Romans 7:14, Romans 5:12) Adam lost this and brought death on all that were under his dominion:

Romans 5:12
12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 8:20,21
20 Against its will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. But with eager hope, 21 the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God’s children in glorious freedom from death and decay.

As per the highlighted, the Divine action was in line with God's order established at creation.

(4). When we get born again, is this knowledge acquired from the tree completely erased or we just get to know how to filter the good knowledge from the bad knowledge? If so, why did God want us to be ignorant of the good knowledge?

Adam was not morally perfect before God (before he fell) by good knowledge; he was perfect by his Union with God. Being born again is being reconciled with God.
Adam lost Life when he was severed from God. Life is restored at salvation. However, there is need to press on in prayer and consecration that there might be a full realisation in us of the crucifixion of the old man (the flesh: being the focus of the struggle in Romans 7 and the victory over which is shown in Romans cool

. The transformation that comes with being born again is by the power of the Holy Spirit and not a mental new year resolution that we strive to keep; yes the Spirit brings the Word to our remembrance but also give us power to do it.

(5). Jesus Christ is known as the second Adam who has no sin and paved way for us to have eternal life and to be free from the curses of Eden. If this knowledge we acquire from the garden still stays with us, Why should we be considered deem fit for heaven when originally that same knowledge sent us out of the garden?

Thanks for your interest but do you have any experience as regards the highlighted? The answers to your question is not far fetched but the Bible is a different Book. Without the revelation of God's Spirit, even Jesus will be called John the baptist! Scorners may scorn but this is the fact! { eg man became evil not because he got the knowledge but simply because he was severed from God, besides, the knowledge of good and evil did not make him like God Who knows the thoughts and intentions; rather man became a judge/blind critic of his fellow man. Jesus Christ reconciles us to God when we believe on Him etc Apart from the curse, man lost his dominion ,over all creation, to the devil... }, I can go on but kindly answer my first question.

Doesn't it matter if they collect blood money or gifts from sinners?

I did not see that on the paper . One thing I know about the Church concerned is that they stress the fact that If your soul is not saved, your giving is a waste of time/resources meaning, dont bother to give!

I find this interesting. this is why I love the bible.

This passage is referring to the event in Revelations 19:11-21, 20:1-6 The rapture will witness the resurrection of the dead in Christ , and the physical transformation of those alive in Christ and the meeting in the air. This is different from the gathering of the elect after the tribulation. At the time of the Second coming, Christ will descend on Mount Olives Zechariah 14:3-7 and after the battle, establish His Millenial reign Zechariah 14:8,9 just like Ezekiel prophesied Ezekiel 47:1-9
Remember that the great tribulation marks the continuation of God's programme with Israel according to Daniel's 70 week prophecy. Hence, apart from tribulation saints, the elect of the tribulation period is Israel, not the Church (whose dispensation ends with the commencement of the tribulation , after the rapture).

Let me point out that since some declarations of the prophets have yet to be fulfilled, Christ and His apostles spoke in such a way that the people after the rapture (Israel and others) will still find both the OT and NT relevant.
But for those who rejected the gospel before the rapture (either due to rebellion or love of pleasure), this is what will happen:
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12
10 and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

This refers not to Israel but the gentiles who had the privilege of the Church age.

As twisted as this sounds, I believe pastors who teach on the rapture theory, should at least tell it as the bible had written it.
I myself was taught the Rapture was before the tribulation-I never really understood the rapture message-and I still don't believe other believers fully understand it either.
It has been taught by the pastors-and like the tithing theory no-one in Church has questioned it. None of the scriptures line up with the rapture before the tribulation.
Revelation 3:10 "Which say's Jesus will keep us safe from the hour of testing. Again I can't find any evidence in this verse that the Lord is talking about the rapture.
Matthew 24:37 "As its was in the days of Noah so it will be also at the coming of the son of man, and in the day of Lot.
We have all read this story and the Lord kept them both safe from the hour of trials, while the rest of the world died either in the flood, or with meteorites that fell from the skies. No rapture.
This again shows me we will see these things happen, and those who endures to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 13:24:39 "Jesus had pointed it out that the harvest will be at the end of this age. First gather up the tares and throw them into the fire, and than gather up the wheat and put them into barns.
The tares are the people who refuses God-and the wheat is the elect.
Matthew 24:9 "And they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, for My name sake, many will betray one another and hate one another, many false prophets will raise up and deceive many, and because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will go cold. But he who endures to the end' shall be saved. And then the gospel will be preached to all the world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.
This scripture tells me, I believe the Rapture theory will turn the church against the church in the last days, Christians are not ready to go through the tribulation and many believers will turn against the pastors, and betray the lord, Jesus says those who endure to the the end shall be saved.
Christians have no understanding what's coming for the Christians. Already the world is turning upside down, and no-one is watching.
If we believed we will be delivered up in the rapture before the tribulation comes-Then I ask who is Jesus talking about, when he said they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you for His name sake? And if we were to be raptured before the tares, then why would the world hate their own, and kill them, for the sake of Jesus, if they didn't believe.
The world looks after their own without Jesus
The bible shows that the rapture is after the tribulation-not before.

The persecution of the saints you alluded to has taken and is still taking place today. we need to differentiate between the coming of Christ in the rapture (1 Thess 4:17,18) and the coming of Christ to establish the Millenium.(Revelations 19:11-21 and Revelations 20)

God always has the remnant that have not replaced Him with Baal worship! Pentecostalism has to do with the coming of the Spirit in a baptismal measure,genuine salvation etc and not the activities described in the op. The op describes what happens when people get turned away from the truth, seek for teachers that will tell them what their ear itches to hear, and the teachers in turn makes merchandise of them.

The bible is crap, man wrote the god damned bible so naturally there are millions of contradictions in there, heres another one.

The matthew genealogy traces from Abraham to Joseph while Luke traces it from Adam to Heli-Mary's father and Joseph's father-in-law. Women hardly feature as descendants in genealogy hence their husband's name is used. This becomes clearer since joseph was from Solomon (matt 1:7) while Mary was from Nathan (Luke 3:31) Solomon and Nathan were David's sons

It's indicating your confusion that the Mary I spoke of who is the mother of Jesus (pbuh) was the same as the Miriam, sister of Moses and Aaron.

Another challenge arises: Luke names Heli, descendant of David, as the father of Mary and father-in-law to Joseph. Joachim/Imran are not found in the Bible. The reference to Joachim/Imran is peculiar only to the Catholics who themselves got it from the non-canonical, literary works called the apocrypha; a website quoted them thus:

"We have no historical evidence, however, of any elements of their lives, including their names. Any stories about Mary’s father and mother come to us through legend and tradition.”(http://daily-bible-study-tips.com/Reader-Questions-Answered/Lineage-of-Mary.htm quoting from official catholic website)

If it be so, would we not be rather on safe ground staying with that written by Luke since it is backed up with a genealogy? Or do we have a genealogy that links Aaron to Imran/Joachin? You said there was a genealogy on this in the quran; can you publish it here?
