So the Akokos will have 2 big universities to their name be that. |
Who is she ?? |
Awon ko s'eku ko s'eye eda. |
Lmao see all of them complaing about Yorubas speaking their language. First and foremost- no one forces anybody to come live in Yorubaland. Second- It isn't their fault that you people prefer English or Pidgin to your indigenous languages. When you are in a new cultural region , you are supposed to blend in and move on with your neighbors, not stick out like a sore thumb. If I migrate to Kano today, I will endeavour to start learning some Hausa, not conplaining that Hausa people speak too much Hausa... it is their language, goddammit. |
Warri or sapele? Rip |
Menase:\\ For West Africa, you are wrong. Maybe for Southern/Eastern/Central Africa, you are be right. Even some groups in West Africa here. |
the same people selling used clothing from the west (Okirika) are the same people who live in Aba and environs. So, different people simply carve a different niche for themselves in the consumer clothing market. |
olaitoro:Oga in the Yoruba and Pidgin sound of Oga is not the same as the way it sounds in Ogalanya. Moreso, the Yoruba oga is a stand alone word of its one. Not an abbreviation of another term. |
myright:The article says Igedes call yam IJU, not UJI. hiaan! |

okkk Although I was expecting you to post stuff relating to us in Nigeria here and not soe foreign owned universities somewhere. |

I just don't understand why restructuring is so fucking hard for this country to achieve.. Nigeria's current foundation is seriously faulty! honestly, if we must continue as one nation we will all have to come together and discuss the terms of our relationship. Why can't the country be divided into 6 federating regions that will all act as semi-independent regions all within nigeria? If nothing is done to address the grievances of people in this so called nigeria, the country will still come to an end regardless, and in a very violent explosive way that will lead to the loss of many lives. |
Ersan:I am not obsessed with anything except industrial and service sector developments. Then Agriculture comes third for me. Although it should probably be second. those obsessed with oil know themselves. |
Ersan:lol, there is nothing in the north. And even if there was anything, you lots will still remain as poor as church rats. Like Niger (which actually has some oil) but remains poor as fck. What I have come to realize over the years is that resources do not generate wealth for the average man, good institutions do. |
lol, are they no longer searching for groundnut oil in the northern deserts of Borno? nonsense. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4338/36035449403_14399ae9f0_b.jpg All of Nigeria's oil, gas, condensate and tar sands are in the south, you guyz better get used to that fact. |
Nigeria seffff Every part of this country is just sooo Fetish! |
Afam4eva:These are expats that have been to a lot of countries on this globe. Sure, Lagos is third world... but worst in the world? A bit of a stretch imo. |
LOL warrisdiz?? Lmaoooo |
However, some members of the Lagos’ large expatriate community told our correspondent that having seen other countries far worse than Nigeria, such reports were not reflective of the city and Nigeria they had lived in.Exactly. There are far WORSE cities in this world to live in this world. The worst places in Lagos are on google earth streetview, anyone can go and view them, and they are very far from being the worst places n the world. |

Idolatry of the most refined order. That is what Catholicism is. |
Tooor. This is a real test for Igbos all over. If the Igbos in the North refuse to return, I think that can be taken to mean that Igbos in the North have rejected the idea of Biafra Igbo Republic, and have chosen to remain in the north living their lives there as Nigerian citizens. |
