hakeem4:Don't mind the illiterate and the local Nigerian detectives that call themselves police that can't figure out that all what he said is bunkum. There is no way on earth any individual can use just one's BVN to collect money from one's account online without a pin. Physically it is also impossible unless the owner of the account under duress withdraws it himself. If it was that easy,by now the id iot would be a billionaire. Useless thug forming smart bank fraudster, useless police believing him. He even told them he could show them an example and they were all quaving in their pants instead of giving him an account for him to do it;afterall they already know d account he claims he can transfer the funds to if his fake stunt works. |
Igboarecriminal:Let us always try to say the truth no matter what. Yes,Nnamdi Kanu maybe partly a scammer and may have illusions of grandeur;but what Wike did in Obigbo was mass murder and should not be left to go unanswered. I for one don't like Kanu and see him as trying to gain from the IPOB struggle, but the likes of Wike are no different from the likes of Idi Amin and Kim of North Korea. His atrocity in Oyigbo should neither be swept under the carpet nor should he be left to go scotsfree. If Nnamdi Kanu, one way or the other,is the one that will see to Wike answering for his crimes cum massacre,he has support in that regards. |
Not everyone is born with the same spirit and no one like the future, can tell which kind of spirit one came with. That is why one must always control his/her anger because one stupid 1minute or even less of anger can change the entire destiny of one's for bad. See one careless act of lack of control has caused this man. To be charged with attempted murder is destiny changing. He is stylishly looking at up to 30yrs if not more. I bet if he is told now to have his car forfeited or bribe those officials with even ₦1million,he wud jump at the offer. Alas, his thoughtless and minute of anger has changed his entire life. |
This FFK self. Always talking and tweeting like a deranged, illiterate man. Where is Sunday Igboho in that video? How can one human being with expected exposure act and behave like a tout would? Is it on the road they would arrest Igogho,no matter how useless Buhari has made the security forces look? |
Rubbish A man that made an allegation that a northern governor was behind the crisis, and yet when asked and even arrested to mention the governor could not produce a name,is that a person to be taken serious. He has continued with his hearsays based on buruku joint gists. This type, next you hear he has joined APC and he starts denying all the allegations he made. |
Nairalandian:He is not behind any kidnapping. The first time he did it,he most probably did it as a thing of fun. When he now saw the dinwits in this government took him serious he now went into it;seeing that he had gotten a lot of publicity from it. It's now a publicity stunt for him to revitalise his largely forgotten sect. A long forgotten, fake Sheik. |
Okponu! 419 Sheik |
There is a Chinese curse that goes thus:"may you live in interesting times". I am convinced without a doubt that God has a purpose of punishing people(adults) that are living witnesses to the simultaneous rule of Trump in US and Buhari in Nigeria. Every generation is likely to be a witness to the rule of a terrible leader in the world;but to have been living withness to these 2 horrible ones;Buhari and Trump, must be a divine punishment for a bad sin. For the fact that despite him being a dictator,Kim of North Korea is a better ruler than Buhari summarises how cursed this period for Nigerians is. |
SojWORLDWIDE:What is the relevance of this useless portion to the story? The medium could not say how the robbers escaped with their loot because they couldn't have taken it down d bush since they claimed it was much;what happened to the other occupants of the bullion van and even what the official police response has been;but more interested in reporting on the heavy traffic. With that kind of robbery incident involving deaths and a stolen money,is the road even normally expected to still be open? Half baked journalist's story. These are the kind of people that go and set up useless glorified blogs and assume the title of publishers. |
95% of bloggers in Nigeria are useless. That is the reason most of them are still at the level they were when they started blogging. I can bet anything the real story behind this house demolition has nothing to do with the fake tale the blogger gave. |
This tramadol brohala is like someone banning the importation of Diazepam. For heaven's sake tramadol has a tremendous role in healthcare. Just ensure it's taken only by prescription. There is an opioid (group that tramadol belongs)crisis in America;but it hasn't made the goverment there to ban the manufacturing of these drugs. Left for some goverment officials in this government,we would soon go back to using only dogonyaro and herbs for treatment. |
I just don't know but anytime I see this guy he just looks like a clown to me.
His whole demeanour is like that of one unserious fellow.
This statement alone has started to prove that. |
Honestly sometimes I don't feel it's fair one getting evidence of corruption against officers and men of some of these agencies. Since some police officers and other bribe taking officers of other agencies like lastma, FRSC etc, have been exposed and sanctioned, has it reduced even a tiny bit the bribe taking? No. As long as the Nigerian society is structured in such a way that illegitimate wealth and sources of wealth are not scrutinized and punished, bribery and corruption would still remain in Nigeria as long as it exists as a country. A civil servant with a known official salary & pay packet builds a mansion or buys series of lands within a few years of working should in a sane society call for suspicion and investigation. But here he/she is glorified and exalted for having "made it". Making it through bribery or diversion of goverment or individuals revenue. Let's just accept corruption is now an official way of doing business in Nigeria like the Americans have come to accept tipping as legitimate form of revenue. Afterall if Buhari they all lied to us had integrity and wasn't corrupt can be as corrupt as the worst of Nigerian politicians and equally embraces and surrounds himself with the most corrupt set of politicians Nigeria has ever had,who is the ordinary officer to do any better? |
Monogamy:It's not just Imo to be honest. Almost all state governors go in there and acquire assets and humongous amounts from state coffers. What Okorocha did is no different from what Tinubu did in Lagos and Ibori did in Edo and Odili in Rivers. The amount he and his family stole is no larger than that stolen by Uzor Kalu, now senators,Northern governors. He is just "unlucky" to have been succeeded by 2 unfriendly governors. This is the very reason he was desperate to install his son-in-law as governor. |
It's and should no longer be news when BH terrorists kill the military or even civilians down north. What is now news in Nigeria is when the military under the present CinC,do actually and truthfully kills BH terrorists. It's so rare now to see actual evidence that the military has killed any significant number of BH fighters. A pity. |
No region seems to want to be left out in the chase to finally divide Nigeria. I guess this Niger Delta militants having sensed the direction this almagamation is going don't want the region to be left out when it comes down to the terms and conditions of the division. They also know from experience that violent groups almost always have better bargaining power. |
"It has never been this terrible in our national life". The quoted is the pure unadulterated truth about where we now find ourselves. How can a man be so horrible in leadership that twice he has destroyed the same country. |
Pierocash:The criminal governor knows what he is doing and an equally corrupt Okorocha is guessing what Uzodinma's plan is. The reason Uzodinma has not approached a court of competent jurisdiction to give order for seizure of the property is because he has no true intention of recovering that property to Imo state.Once a court order is given,it becomes a property of Imo state. But I am of the belief that Uzodinma wants to annex the property to himself, family, associates or cronies thus his using official flat to cease it, rather than going through a court process. |
There was a time, about 3-4years or so ago, when tomatoes were not only very expensive, but even so scarce;it was that year I knew tomatoes were also grown in the Southwest with their own breed. Though not as tasty as that from the North, but many people had to make do with that breed of Swestern tomatoes. When push comes to shove, there would always be an alternative because the entire South and the middle Belt are thick in the rainforest zones, and this is always the best kind of climate for food crops and even animals. It's just that the ready availability of these foodstuffs from the North has not made people in other zones to explore the vast potentials of their lands. |
2 thieves trying to rob each other.
This case is better settled by someone in the mode of late Lawrence Anini.
His type would better understand the mindset of these 2 criminals. |
Vanguard,a glorified blog. I rather not take this one serious. They just seat in their office and one poorly trained or even untrained journalist writes a story based on his/her thought. Negotiations are surely ongoing. What is probably dealing the release is the government wanting to make it seem as if they tried security wise to rescue the victims |
HRprof:The way he is sounding doesn't seem like somebody that is in any abroad. I even feel some sarcasm in his reply. |
Kinetic energy indeed.
Worst minister,worst president,worst government. |
RuudVanNisteroy:It's only a naive person that would be quick to commend this action by a person like Uzodinma. One thing I have noticed about fraudulent or corrupt or lying rulers;is that nothing good ever comes out from their acts, even if it initially seems so. Mark this today:it's either this same seized Okorocha estate is returned to him by this same supreme court governor, after a deal is struck between them or their quarrel settled;or Uzodinma acquires this same estate for himself using proxies like his own family,or its shared in a sort of arrangement between his appointees. Mark this today. |
This is now a confirmed business venture. The difference between these Northern businessmen, disguising as kidnappers and the former kidnappers in the SS and few other Southern states was that the latter were robbers that diverted to kidnapping when they saw it was more lucrative and far less life threatening;these Northern sets are a large group comprising of people in government, Muslim religious groups, financial backers & some top security agents aligned in financial transaction with bandits and terrorists. The sponsors, most likely in government or highly connected with the government, provide the logistic funding;when the ransom is paid, the bandits use their part to buy more weapons, then share the rest;the sponsors share the larger shunk that runs into hundreds of millions amongst the goverment officials, security agents and others that participated in the planning. Sponsors maybe making up to ₦200m per each hoarse kidnapping after deduction of expenses. How many legitimate businesses can return such investment in just 2-5 days operation with so little upfront capital and minimal sweat? |
The goverment has long given up on fighting terrorism. So to avoid getting increasingly scrutinized and condemned by the international community,it simply pays the bandits. No amount to this government is too much to pay to hide any bad image it's continued incompetence will portray. |
So a newspaper wrote this kind of story? No wonder Vanguard is now in the same league as NTA,a mediums now only watched and read respectively as examples of the mediocrity aspects Nigeria has sunk. |
No reasonable person would support attack of innocent people, even if non-indigenes by any group, including IPOB,but a governor calling the military on its own people without exhausting all avenues of dialogue and conflict resolution,is a new low by a governor. What is however more worrisome is Uzodinma, using phantom allegations of IPOB wanting to kill or maim and indeed attacking indigenous Orlu people, same IPOB is claiming to defend,to justify the military action. |
If they want to wear hijab, they should attend Muslim schools na! |
RRodwave:They will never learn. Just because of anger 1 person is dead, another life is ruined forever. Walk away once a quarrel has turned physical because at that point of anger,u can't control what u may do and u can't predict how healthy is d other person because one simple shove can lead to a fall, head hits the ground, internal bleeding and death. |
kaylo31:Amen.Thank you. The story just annoyed me. In Africa our lack of proper investigation of things has caused monumental damage in our societies. I bet anyone if that baby died suddenly,it could be either from infection gotten from people or home or likely he/she died when d baby choked on herself in her sleep due to poor sleeping position and improper watch by d parents;aka,Sudden infant death syndrome. Not all these hogwash of one person killing d child spiritually. |
delpee:Total bunkum! |

low level snake oil salesman. Come here and fight. Even small boys like bandits and Fulani herdsmens don't run.
