kingofchess:This is what an assumed educated person with a tertiary education wrote and believed! Your education is totally useless if at your age and level in life,u can wholeheartedly have this kind of belief. You are suspecting a lady that didn't touch the child of killing him,but you that carried him with your full hands and body, likely harbouring some dangerous germs, and the parents that failed to take him to hospital, when the child was most probably sick, you are not blaming. In sane societies, with sudden deaths of a child that was supposedly well before, you and the parents would be answering serious questions by now as likely suspects. Rubbish. |
Marvieduke:I remember what Buhari said during his first term when he was being scolded for not appointing an Ibo person into prominent goverment positions. After he had given a full, venom full history of how Ibos didn't vote for him,he now went on to say something in the mode of 'despite that,I still gave them 2 important senior ministerial positions'. Which are these positions one would ask:science/technology and foreign affairs. To Buhari those 2 positions more made up and is even him compensating the Ibos more than they deserve. NEITI I believe to him is a mighty position the Ibos should be thankful to him for. More like Igbokwe that was appointed as special adviser to a governor on 'gutter affairs'. |
Story. Does this kind of childish image laundering still exist? If the powers at Aso Rock,Malami et al, wanted the guy discharged, there is no fu cking thing Osinbajo could have done. If Osinbajo had any kind of power or influence, why didn't he see to reinstatement of Magu, why didn't he stop police from harassing and beating this latest peaceful SARS protesters and why didn't he see to the cancellation of the current APC registration even when it's obvious his godfather and mentor, Tinubu,is being schemed out? Osinbajo is as irrelevant as the 'P' in psychology. |
Dindirin. So what is the work of goverment and how are people expected to defend themselves when private ownership of guns is illegal? Or the cow expects people to use catapult to defend against terrorists with Ak-74,grenade launchers and machine guns? |
MansoryMX:The reason is not far fetched. Despite all his flaws, despite all his nepotism, despite the disaster of a president he is,people of that region that have the wherewithal to galvanize people or make something happen, seem to be benefitting from him. The agitation of the ND militants or other groups was never for the good of the region and it's people;but simply because they were not benefitting from the free money. |
bayelsaowei:For one reason or the other, people's Gazette seems to have taken it as it's core mission. There is an unexplained courage behind the publisher of that online medium. It's fearlessness, even with a physical office in Abuja,is making it look as if they have something to hold this goverment by,if they are shut down, arrested or harassed. |
felixjet:That valuation is something else. But the one that really got me laughing my head off is 'the ready customers". What if the on ground customers are family members, friends, landlord and his/her family members that would have been barbing for free? The guy is not serious. |
Contradicting himself as usual. He said the cause were people of influence and means, while in the same breath vowing to identify them. If they have not been identified already, how did he now come to the conclusion they were men of influence. Afterall it could be caused by touts, drug addicts, miscreants if the identification is still unknown. |
Buhari resign or get impeached. That is the only solution to the crisis that the nation now faces. Nigeria as at today and indeed for a few years now hasn't got a president. You can be incompetent in some things as a president, but to be incompetent in the 3 cardinal aspects of governance, security, economy and trying to unify a country,is grounds for impeachment several times over. I don't believe Buhari is dead, but he is so grossly incompetent if you give him 10 terms,he wouldn't do better. |
The Northern tax collectors and businessmen not bandits. The goverments are already paying them for kidnapping of its own citizens, rustling cattle, destroying farmlands. They just saw how lucrative the kidnapping business in the North is,so have now gone large scale into it. |
Bloody,lying blogger.
This is an old video.
No wonder many bloggers remain paupers with their lies. |
People's Gazette,at least for now,is not your beer parlor blog or SR that concoct some stories. They are out to champion a cause and win the online news medium,so are very sure of their stories before they publish. Their publisher seems to know what got PT to its height,so want to do it and go one step closer. @topic,right from Buhari himself,to Lai Muhammed, lying is synonymous with this government. |
BRATISLAVA:My post isn't for your type because you clearly don't know that snake doesn't kill or attack humans and plays a role in the reduction of diseases people like you would never in 4 lifetimes have the brain to understand. Zoom off, mpi! |
obi4eze:I maybe sounding like a broken microphone but I would still repeat it:when Buhari leaves office, the revelations about how corrupt his government was and the devilish things he did while in office, would shame the devil. Appointing fellow corrupt cronies into sensitive top positions is just a way to guard his flanks and centre. But the nature of politics and power is such that once you leave office, you are effectively powerless and can't dictate how the mind of your successor and those now subservient to the new president's wishes and power, may swing. |
Rugaria:Ambode told us his medical history and it got all muddled up in politics. |
I don't sincerely blame many doubting this story. 81 bandits is a huge number with just a single soldier killed. There is no way that number of people would be killed without pictorial evidence. Let's assume the pictures would be released today. If not it would just lend credence to the belief it's all propaganda. |
Dpharisee:You saw what he did there. Trying to be clever by one quarter, not half. He didn't address the fact the story stated it's a new agency with a head, even if from DPR. |
Angelfrost:Since he joined Napoli, even before injury he has been a disappoint. Lots of running up and down, lots of motion, but no result. It's alarming when a midfielder has more goals than a striker and this was a player bought with loads of money. He had better find his scoring boots, because that's what he was bought for,not being found defending and running up down both penalty boxes. Hope he doesn't end up like Iheanacho the way he is going or bring loaned back to Lille because that would dent his status and future prospects. |
R.I.P. to the gallant men that lost their lives. They lost their lives due to incompetence displayed over this past 5 years. Unless the man at Aso rock is impeached, unfortunately much more of this kind of news may continue. |
Uhm. A day, even half a day without stories of killings, kidnappings and general insecurity in Nigeria now looks like a very unusual occurrence. It's also law of karma for support based on nepotism, despite overwhelming, unrivalled incompetence. Majority of Nigerians, including overwhelming proportion of the North rallied against GEJ,a southerner, when majority felt his government was corrupt and was particularly poor on insecurity in the North. Now here comes,Buhari,an undisputed bigot, clannish champion, whose government is not only more corrupt, but under who Nigeria is now 10times more insecure, but the same north are not even still supporting him,but actually defending him! Karma can't be happy with such a people and region!! |

It's now a free for all. There is now a competition for which state takes the glory for the most insecure region in the country, particularly the North. All due to the unrivalled incompetence of one man,a curse, for the second time,to Nigeria. |
Eighteen passengers of the Niger State transport service have been kidnapped by bandits in Niger State. The attack which occurred in Yakila village in Rafi local government area of Niger State saw the bandits leaving a woman and her baby while making away with the other passengers. The passengers were said to be heading to Minna, the state capital from Kontagora, when the incident occurred. The Director General of the Niger State emergency management agency, confirmed the attack to The Punch. Inga, who was on his way from Kontagora for the revalidation of his APC membership in company of the chief of staff, said they meta woman with a child who was left by the bandits who told them the other 18 passengers in the bus have been taken away. https://punchng.com/bandits-kidnap-18-travellers-in-niger/?amp=1#click=https:///hARgB2uFgh |
I would refer this Aboki to go check the 3 words: incompetence, nepotism and senility in the dictionary. That lies the answer to Buhari's silence. |
Strange narrative. They just stood by as the Hausas killed a pregnant woman, killed another man, burnt their markets and they did nothing? It's either the Yorubas interviewed are not telling the truth or if they are their servitudevis beyond comprehension. All through the years of the almagamation of Nigeria, this level of inter ethnic hate and killings have never been this bad. The beginning of the solution to this problem,if Nigeria is accepted as a continued entity,is the resignation or impeachment of Buhari. Any other solution is mere pampering to the problem. Buhari is the beginning and end of the total breakdown of law and order right across Nigeria. |
This one has regained his voice from the wilderness.

Nation and TVC,2 foo lish mediums. All the while Buhari was running Nigeria like a cow would, they kept quiet, but soon as Tinubu started being affected by his incompetence and nepotism, they regained their ink and voice respectively. Mediums like this do not deserve to be heard or pitied, because once it favours their paymaster later, they would resort to supporting the government of the day blindly. |
Buhari has clearly shown Nigeria is not actually a country, but a forced almagamation of clearly separate people. Mixing radical,Islamic fundamentalist, largely illiterate northern parts with Christian, educated south was a disaster waiting to happen. |
Tolexander:One day it's not as far as it looks again. Before we all know it,2022 is here and Buhari starts being a lame duck president;by 2023 he is out of office and I bet you the atrocities that man is committing would come open one way or the other. The one thing keeping him in office and covering all the harm he has done is the fear of what the "almajiris" when lit with a matchstick and herded in a particular direction can do, especially when told it's because he(Buhari) is defending Islam is the reason he is being hounded by other people. |
Simple something. Provide security for both anti and pro toll gate opening protesters, don't allow them interract or if they do only at shouting distances, and it's a win win for government, protesters and sponsored anti protesters. But no. It's not however, unexpected.A government that allows crowds to gather for a so called NIN registration in the midst of a second wave of covid 19,is not expected to do any better. |
