SarkinYarki:I say this with all sense of shame;the average Nigerian is cursed with the spirit of primitiveness. Has anyone noticed that despite the great strides and the boundless opportunities offered by the internet, cum information superhighway that has made information easy and fast to access, even with the most basic of phones now, millions still live with their stone age habits? This missing organ stuff has been intermittently spreading in different states for donkey years. But just as you pointed out, even today when people can easily capture events with devices available to everyone, not a single evidence has been shown to the world of a missing male organ. Yet people have been lynched for what is infact,a fallacy that is so crude that even a kindergarten child in a developed country, would be ashamed to be seen or heard associating with. |
The people that peddled the news should be bold enough to mention the name of the hospital and the so called "wrong injection" she was given. At least now everyone is getting more circumspect knowing you cannot just put out somebody's name or organization and claim that person committed an error without you having cast iron proof. Tarnishing people's image and reputation has become a stock in trade of many people now because they have this mistaken belief they can run to social media and post anything without no one holding them accountable. It has got to stop. If you are sure of your facts, mention name, place, person, organisation or facility responsible and be ready to defend your accusations in court. |
Nigerians will never learn. That if it's too good to be true,it's likely a scam. See where the scam is here: They asking people to like their Facebook page.Of course at that ridiculous price followers will like the page like mad, maybe up to 1million by d D-day. Advert comes in due to number of likes and visits. On the day,of course they claim or give 5 of the phones to known associates and say those are the people that won to buy at the 7k and the offer is closed, people are to buy at the official price. Meanwhile they have used the generated traffic and likes on their page to make several thousands if not millions in then and future revenue. |
OruExpress:This one is sick. For you to even compare BBN and the Grammy awards or any other music or film award shows how sick you are. The ability to write or sing is a talent reverred since the beginning of time and creation. Do you know what good music does to the soul, the healing effect of music or it's ability to inspire creativity in all fields of endeavour? For some it's even seen as a gift from God himself. Next time if you don't know what to say, just keep quiet. |
amiibaby:But you initially put it across that the letter you wrote directly led to her sacking. If I hadn't called out how impossible it sounded, you wouldn't have added this addendum. Much as her attitude is wrong, desirable or not her being sacked,I still put it that there is no way your letter alone led to her sacking which you are not even sure of because you said you heard. You wanted to make yourself feel good or important but operative procedures don't work like that because if it did, your initial "summarized letter led to her sacking" theory would have won a place in the book of 'Unbelievable But True' happenings. |
miib:That is exactly the point I was making. That it could never have been because of her tearing that letter. If you also scroll up you would see where the Op I quoted admitted in reply to my doubts that there were a series of panel meetings or investigations she had to attend. But from her initial post she came around with the air of 'after tearing the letter, she wrote and prompto the woman was sacked'. If further inquiries was made and the woman was actually sacked, which I even doubt because she said she heard;you may find it was from a series of far more grievious offences over the years,or she was a few months into her retirement and was asked to just take a terminal leave with benefit. My grouse is,much as one detests the average civil servant attitude to work,I maintain that tearing of letter COULD NEVER,have been the reason for her sacking,IF AT ALL ANY SACKING DID TAKE PLACE. The civil service all over the world is an establishment with rules and regulations guilding engagement and stricker with disengagement. The same attitude the Op frowned about the civil servant is the same way I frown about the half truth if not outrightly lie she peddled. |
This one continues to show how disastrous his tenure would be. When Vios started reappearing on the road, some of us clearly saw the havoc they would cause. Same havoc Ambode saw and banned them from the roads soon as he assumed office. But the potentially worse governor Lagos may ever see kept sleeping, attending private events and overseeing street roads rehabilitation. What happened to his toll free days on Lekki toll plazas.Died its natural death because like all of his ideas thus far,it was a product of thoughtlessness. |
amiibaby:And you also believe she has been sacked because she tore your letter? If sacking someone is that easy, even in the private sector, then half of all employees would be changed on a yearly basis. They didn't call you to testify, they didn't call her, witnesses of the event and vroom your mighty letter got her sacked Even if she molested you, getting an employee sacked under the civil service is not done at the whims and caprices of one overlord sitting down somewhere,so don't start deluding yourself. |
It was a criminal law that ex-governors used to fleece their states dry. Imagine someone like Akpbabio,Fashola or Silva receiving salary as ministers, allowances as ministers, sign contracts as ministers with all the pecks of kickbacks and still receive pension running into millions monthly as ex governors. Those that are senators too receive such criminal pension. Much as we like to delude ourselves, Nigeria is too damaged to get better. There are criminals right from the very top, recircling their criminality down their cycle. |
VillagePipu:He maybe into real estate but for him to claim he made so much from it to start off an airline is pure hogwash. Tomorrow this man may technically settle the American authorities and be given a slap on the wrist after forfeiting some funds, but just like many in his shoes, his source of wealth is dubious till proven otherwise. |
Story. Most Nigerian billionaires are fraudulent. No one,I repeat no one can establish an airline, even start it off, from his pockets alone. Anyone that does that is a fraud. QED |
bolseas:Not just borehole. You pay for foundation, If u reach lintel and delay due to money constraints, you pay for "continuation" anytime you want to restart after lintel,to roofing. Roofing Plastering Soakaway you pay. The window guy asks you to settle the omo onile or he adds their tax to your bill, ditto the ceiling guy and tiler. Fencing you pay. Then borehole. Of course any building material of yours that gets transported by a truck or tipper, you settle along the routes. It's crazy |
Made up fake story. How did the guy know the route? Before even moving 100m the main driver would have started shouting and calling him a thief, people or other buses would block him. The driver too would have chased him with an okada. So there is no way he would driven the bus all the way from Onitsha to your destination. How did he settle agberos with their union dues? How did he settle police? Liars everywhere. |
This friend is not helping his friend at all. Why alert the suspects that the call logs of the victim is being looked into. How does he even think the police CID will just sit idly on a murder case. He also foolishly believes taxify have not reported the matter and are helping the police in all ways they can. Any little thing they run to social media. In civilised climes this friend would even be arrested for jeopardizing investigations into the matter. Rubbish social media post. |
Flier:You sometimes wonder why they defend thieves. Some people just don't realise the evil laundered and fraudulently acquired money does to the economy and society. It's the same stolen and laundered funds that make it possible for an individual to build an entire estate, puts the rentage at exorbitant cost and doesn't mind if no one stays in the entire estate or chain of duplexes for years; Same criminal act that makes it possible for someone like that to outbid you with that struggled to make your money and saved for years or borrowed funds, out of a landed property, with an outrageous quote;etc. Nobody has pronounced Onyeama guilty, even the US authorities stated in it's indictment, but if he is guilty on trial,it should be applauded by any honest, hardworking individual in Nigeria. Indeed,we should even be hoping the the US can help us do what the EFCC has spectacularly failed to do down the years, despite cases that even a kindergarten would know the individual concerned spells fraud from a mile off |
When it rains,it pours. Could it be the offence is even more grievous than the US authorities are even alleging? Asset forfeiture, worldwide arrest warrant all within the indictment being made public. When Onyeama voluntarily goes to the US to defend himself is when I would take him serious. Otherwise everyother thing he is saying is just empty bluffing effective in Nigeria, but dead on arrival in civilised climes. |
GlorifiedTunde:You don't even need to reply that wannabe failure of a blogger. Sometimes I wonder if actually the white man was wrong in saying white and black brains are not the same. I don't even feel pissed that much with the blogger,is the people that have posted with the believe something like that did actually take place. With social media bill,as bad as it sounds, many of these blogs will die a natural death by the time they face 2 or 3 lawsuits based on the false things they post. |
That his cheap denial won't take him anywhere. That an arrest warrant has been issued even shows there may even be more damning facts than the officially released indictment notice issued to the public. In Nigerian parlance,"this one own don done". I wish the American crime agencies would take over the investigation of all financial and bank fraud cases including investigation of overnight billionaires in Nigeria. I doubt 1% would be found clean. Onyeama is just unfortunate to be one of the very few to be caught in this everyday scams and schemes celebrated rich people in Nigeria indulge in |
zoba88:What brings God into this matter? |
beamNIGERIA:Leave him. He wants to bask in his "degrees" and was more concerned with the idea that someone was insinuating he doesn't have one, than capturing the main idea of my post, which I stated clearly wasn't in anyway to belittle his achievements. |
soberdrunk:Don't mind them. Sex videos are bad,QED. But this laughable talk of Africa having some phantom high moral values is just so comical it beggars belief Many of the things we condemn the whites for have been happening in Africa for eons, just that evidence or means of capturing them and spreading them were not available to us;unlike the whites that have been using recording devices of various sorts for donkey years. Hypocrisy is so much in the land. Go to churches and prayer houses, then get a glimpse into the private lives of so called pastors,Imams and worshippers then you would understand why the white man despite their growing non religious stance, would make heaven in far greater numbers than the first class hypocrites that dominate the African black space. Morality indeed. |
Blogger please work on your grammar first before you start posting on your blog. |
omenka:What should it be then? 'Student molests colleague'? |
majamajic:Claudio Ranieri won the premiership with Leicester with average, then unknown players. Simeone won the La Liga with Athletico with then barely known, also average players. Mourinho in his first spell with Chelsea won the league with then developing players.Players he later developed to world stars. All these coaches during those winning years dispelled the notion and makes Pochettino defence lame, that he couldn't have won the league with the crop of players he had.Maybe his first 2 seasons, but after that Tottenham became a formidable force in the sane years,Man Utd,Chelsea,Arsenal, Liverpool were in decline, yet he couldn't win a single trophy. It's the reason I don't give in to all the hype surrounding Pep.No doubt Pep is a great coach, one of the best in the world, but aside his early Barcelona years, look at his other records: After Barcelona he next coached Bayern that had won the treble just a year before.Winning the Bundesliga, even 3 times, was not that spectacular a feat for Bayern.3 times he failed with them at the Champions league. He came to Man City where the Italian coach, then Pellegrini had both won the premiership,so winning it again wasn't that spectacular. 3 times he has tried at the Champions league.Never reached the Semis. Despite all the outside noises in his support, there is no guarantee Ole Sokjaer would see out this season or be there at the next, especially if Mourinho does well with Tottenham and Lampard continues his good streak with Chelsea. I repeat Man Utd couldn't have been patient with Fergie in today's football world. Even average teams these days are quick to pull the trigger, say less a Man Utd that was already a worldwide name then. |
majamajic:This is myopic. In today's footballing world,Fergie would have been sacked after the 2 miserable seasons he had with Man United and today nobody would have been calling him the greatest coach Man United ever had,but the worst. The era at that time was not into hiring and firing at the whim. I am not a Mourinho fan due to the nature of football he has decided to be setting his teams to play all the years, but you cannot take away the fact he remains tactically one of the best coaches in the world. Excitement and charisma wise,he is the best the world may ever see. Trophywise,no one can better his record of champions league, league and cup glories achieved with different different teams in different countries of the world. Hate or Love him,you must respect the man's record and capabilities in the coaching world. |
crackhouse:Just like they brought Christianity to us,but we now carry it on our heads than even the whites that are now even going more atheist than religious. We now appear holier than thou than the people that wrote the book and interpreted it to us in the way that suits their narrative. |
Even here they still scam Nigeria with their shady contracts. But the Chinese goverment would not come out to publicly call it's Nationals criminals in a foreign country, despite the massive 1000 arrests. But you arrest 10 Nigerians for the same scam these Chinese are involved in and have been doing for decades and one ab Oki president will publicly call all Nigerians thieves, lazy and criminals. Meanwhile he cannot produce an ordinary school certificate he claimed to have sat for. |
I think there was one Yoruba guy that was contesting with him then, aside the former Kaduna state governor that acted as interim chairman, but Wike in his usual myopic manner foistered this failure on PDP;the same way he wanted to foist Tambuwal that couldn't have even one his state, for the presidential ticket. Secondus is steering PDP to extinction and d earlier he is removed, the better for the party and Nigeria. |
Larryfest:One was in uniform, the order in agbada and danshiki. The dress is the only difference. |
izzou:Trend keh. In today's Nigeria if the guy was a critical of this satanic goverment, almost all the so called human rights activists and former self acclaimed social crusaders would go into ghost mode or feign they didn't even see his plea for help. Some would even quickly block the friend from tagging them. The country has gone not just to the dogs, but the pigs as well. |
Very embarassing. Mama peace volume 2. They from that part of the country also occupy top government positions even with their barely literate education. |
