ijawkid: SMH.....Nigeria is not a selfless country like USA. Nigeria is a selfish country populated by selfish human beings who are haters of their own neighbours. |
stop thinking like a poor man.
stop sounding like a poor mind? |
pro01: What a joke. No genuine man of God would accept such a worldly, outrageous 'gift'. Such materialistic and luxurious cravings should be left for the rest of us that are of the world. These money/comfort/luxury-loving characters parading themselves as pastors are extremely bad advertisements for Christianity. If you want to enjoy life to the fullest, why the hell did you sign up for God's work?Well said brethen but how can he say no to such a "gift" or prosperity as someone said? His reward is on the earth so let him enjoy it whilst it last. |
don't mind them (BH). Theirs is a case of misplaced priorities. They will never visit where their services are seriously needed.
Well said poster. Afterall, a good Christian should be eager to go home (Heaven) and meet his creator so that he can be rewarded for all his hardwork on the earth. |
sheyguy: If the pastors themselves go get it, we get complains of pastors feeding fat on the sweat of their 'poor' congregation . . . Now lets see how the 'prosperity hating' brothers spin this one . . . probably, "the congregation have been Brainwashed".what congregation? how many people in this or other congregation voted to give their Pastor a jet? How can you call using church funds to buy a single person a jet "prosperity" when some of your own members do not have enough to feed upon. Is this how your own bible defines prosperity? |
Praise the lord ... Members of the flock have donated generously over the years and the church account is now swell enough to afford a jet for the church supremo ... #awesome
abi o! Where are the members of his congregation at the presentation? I bet its only the elect few who made this decision because they too will benefit from this "gift" from hell. |
samuelfemo: congratulation and happy birthday to pastor oritsejafor whom the blessing of God has recently increase in is life spiritually and materially, it is comfIrmed that he is blessed this day with a private jet for his birthday gift.more blessing and God bless u sir.Are you saying God gave him the jet? After the jet, what next? Dont waste your prayers on blessings for him. It looks like you need it more than him. Pray that he makes heaven. God looks at the heart not all his acquisitions and material possessions. |
redsun: Of course,he has settled him like the militants.Like he has settled the oil barons, the senators, the bokoharams, the paedophiles, that halliburtons, the OBJs,the IBBs and all the underwolds of this world. What resources? You have no resources left. Its all sitting in foreign bank accounts. |
LCASHMAN: Abeg my question is, 'where is he flying to?'You mean you don't know? I can't see a jet getting him into heaven. |
fellis: Possible. Maybe he has seen others with jets and wants to also own his own without getting critisized for spending money he could have given to destitutes on a jet.it is plausible. Obviously they like being in the news for the wrong reason. I guess the president is not busy enough thats why he finds time going to such mediocre events. This is the kind of event Boko Haram should aim to attend with all their "gifts" instead of attacking ordinary hardworking Nigerians. |
I don't understand this fascination with Jet and Ministers of God. Jesus did not own a single thing while he lived on planet earth . You don't need all these material things for your life to make a real impact on lives of other fellow beings or leave a lasting legacy. None of these material things bring any fulfilment of any kind. How does the jet bring glory to Christ? |
88% of NL chatters are from broken homes...so why the fakeness
Please ask them again especially in a country like Nigerian where very few know the meaning of the vows they make.TRILLION LIKES!! |
I wonder how you came about that number
I agree poster. Based on the gutter postings on NL, I would say 98% not 88% ![]() |
tpia1: This is a nigerian site, that's whyThank you poster. Can you believe the hypocrisy? Even all the gutter people on NL will start claiming they too are from a perfect family. |
megareal: @OP, goes to show you don't really know what you want. Your'e asking us to advise you on what choice to make based on a girl's background? Thought marital decisions should be based on character, love, compatability and other important factors, what then is this shyte about broken and separated parents? SMH... My candid advice? Leave the poor girl alone because no matter how good she is, you will always judge any little mistake she makes based on her background. Asking this question simply means your mind is opposed to the idea already, you are just asking for support to enforce your belief.GBAM!!!! BILLION LIKES!!! |
Ladapo: Read up factors that can influence a successful marriage on Facebook....http://www./149636266644/So everyone who follows this will have a succesful marriage? So why is divorce rate increasing (and not decreasing) at the rate at which users of facebookers is increasing. The Blind leading the blind. |
shadrach77: It matters because a girl from a broken home will have nobody to look up to and no inspiration and motivation to work towards sustaining her marriageI guess she has people like yourself to look up to who believe every woman from a broken home is the same and who is now a prophet who can predict the future. Stupid people giving silly advice to a STUPID MAN. |
Kobojunkie: You don't deserve the girl at all. If I knew the gal, I would advice her to go find herself a better man than you @Poster. I would advice that girl that she not marry or give any more of her life to a man that would even for one second see to INDICT her for the actions of her parents, something she was probably against from the start.Thank you Poster. My opinion EXACTLY. Who would want to marry such a STUPID MAN? Is Nigeria really void of real men ? Where do all these Worwor men crawl out from? |
dBard: Girls from broken homes are usually insecure, needy, clingy, emotional doormats or over territorial n aggressive. tho d well adjusted ones r a beauty t behold.I guess this is a disease that runs in your family ONLY because am sure every broken home in your family must have the same symptons for you to have such accurate diagnosis... Stupid people are PLENTY on NL!!! ![]() |
Stupid posting. Stupid question. Are you marrying the "broken home" or are you marrying her parents? You sound like you are not in love with her but in love with the idea of marriage. I pity her! Follow your STUPID heart and you will do the STUPID thing. |
...So. Why is this on NL? Pure Garbage news about two garbage people who will eventually end up in a Hot garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
sconsults: Them no even sabi kiss. kissing is against our culture but make them come for extra lessons on how to kiss and lick all parts of the human anatomyAre you a Dog? Licking EVERY (including the yash) part of the human anatomy? This is what is expected of a Dog!!! Please!!! |
tunnytox: I know this Church very well, it's on Hyde road in Manchester always packed with 'sheep' looking for miracles. You mean MAGIC! |
agitator: It is crooked guys like you that are turnign good Christians into atheist and questioning the word of God. How can you quote the bible wrongly to support your lopsided argument. |
megareal: There is nothing as bad as claiming to hear from God when you haven't. Its a one way ticket to total disgrace.True talk.... its the route to HEAVENLY DISGRACE. Even the devil will laugh at you. |
agitator: Evangelizing and winning souls is not easy. Please don't chase away the ones that have been won over to Christ with this your rubb!5h post.ANOTHER HYPOCRITE. Does God lie? Those who purport to represent Him truly should not lie too!!!! What is difficult about it? So because they won people to Christ gives them the right to be cheapening God's name and say the Lord said when He has not said? All these baby Christians who worship Ministers of God instead of GOD!!! Hell Gbosa. |
dangloove: @ poster,i think u shd study ur Bible very well before such bold utterance against a man u did not send.I think its very funny how we jump at so called opportunity to find out, expose and condemn a fake pastor,a sinner pastor,a false prophet etc leaving the main function given to us(TO REACH OUT TO THE WHOLE WORLD WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST).That man u re taking about has done so much for the kingdom(THROUGH HIS MINISTRY MANY HAVE COME TO RECIEVE THE GOSPEL).what have you done for the KINGDOM OF GOD.is ur ministry that of exposing fake ministers, wonderful, continue lets see how far it will take you sirPlease stop this nonsense. God DOES NOT LIE. NO MAN OF GOD (including those who have brought millions to the knowledge of Christ) should say God said when the Lord has not said. It is very simple otherwise they expose themselves to ridicule. The poster has a point. Bringing people to God is not a contest. It is the responsibility of every believer of God. May i ask you what have YOU done for God apart from defending false prophecies? |
OgidiBoy: Very weak!!I guess you are a teenager from your posting. You still have a long life ahead of you. Pray HARD that when your time comes to shed uncontrollable tears as a real MAN , it will be tears of joy like Obama and not of distress like King David in the Bible... |
Kobojunkie: There is no such thing as a UNIQUE marriage. Marriage is just what it is . . . marriage. What you have instead are two UNIQUE people(they were UNIQUE from the day of their birth and will remain so till they breath their last breath) who are in a Marriage(UN-UNIQUE situation) and need to come to an agreement on a case-by-case basis.Really ![]() On which planet do you live on where every marriage is the same. My post said every marriage is unique because as you said it is made of " two UNIQUE people(they were UNIQUE from the day of their birth and will remain so till they breath their last breath) You are contradicting yourself. If every human being is unique, how can those marriages made up of unique human beings be the same (un-unique) ? |
dnawah: Remember Cynthia's and the Unilag student(facebook)story.na lust dey worry u no be love.but it is only safe if is Jesus Christ:-DCorrection: God is not a mortal man for anyone to "fall in love with". You can love God though! |
Redmosquito: Minion: Ur Callousness! Many Nigerians believe it is foolish to love someone not seen. Please before we start , lets first clarify that there is a difference between "loving someone" and "falling in love with someone". Only STUPXD people will think these two things mean the same. 1. God is not a mortal man for anyone to fall in love with and have a romantic relationship with 2. Falling in love is mainly a Western concept of moving from a feeling of neutrality towards a person to one of love. Its a romantic concept. You cannot have a romantic feeling towards God can you? PLEASE LETS BE CLEAR. |
Each one will have a different reason. Some older men are more attentive and loving than the young riffraffs who are just clawing out of their parents shell. Some women love the security an older man will bring. Some older men are just perverts and will sleep with a baby. Some ladies are just greedy and cannot be bothered to start with a penniless graduate (gold diggers) Some ladies are driven by poverty and ignorance. Some are driven by circumstances . My uncle married his wife after he lost the first one and she was the only one educated in their village and he had no choice . He was 43 and she was 22. They are still together today in their 90s. Destiny. All in all. They all soon find out that not all that glitters is gold. Happiness is not a static position but a journey itself and there are no guarantees on the best way to reach it. |
