speedyboi: Which ever mod put this on frontpage is an idi/ot. The mod who first saw this thread and couldnt delete it is a bastard. When will you miserable guys end your quest in disgracing nigeria?
I dont care where you are now but if you were given birth to in a nigerian hospital, you attended primary, high school or college in a nigerian school, you've been treated in a nigerian hospital, you live in nigeria, you were born by a nigerian. If you are any of the above and you are not proud to be a nigerian, then you are such a callous unpatrotic idiotic bastard!!! Mtcheew, im out of a thread of lunatics... Smh
I am ashamed of you and your gutter language to all who use this forum ...you are a complete disgrace to civilisation .
PoliticsRe: Have You Ever Been Ashamed Of Being A Nigerian? by SELFWORTH:
2mch: Being Nigerian is a terrible liability. The worst of it all is when you try to point out the criminals, they don't even look well-fed upon all the billions they steal, they don't look better than poverty stricken Nigerians. lipsrsealed cry. The truth is the country is a total and abysmal failure. Absolutely nothing to be proud of or patriotic about. Those looking for a future in finance abroad, avoid any links with Nigeria. Just claim Gabon, Cameroon or Sierra leone. If you say naija for life, when hunger strikes you go die o. Truth is bitter.
Pure truth. There is enough even on NL forum to be ashamed . Swearing, bad manners, calling Gods creation bitcxx, whxxe, gutter language, insulting other people parents on forums, bad grammar, intolerance of others opinion, criminals posing as law abiding citizens etc....need I say more
I think many guys are getting it wrong; that is why some are saying the post is lies.

First of all, when write-ups like this are written, the author does that entire traits must be present in one person. But if all of these traits are entirely absent in one same guy in his relationship to his girl, then its safe to say he does not love the girl.

Then the second mistake or misconception is this: Many guys here, maybe because they are still in school or have never had a real steady relationship with a woman, are thinking from the angle of "just meet a girl, trying to toast her, convincing her to make her open up those fine long legs for you".

That is why you totally getting wrong the write up. The written traits, are presented to be watched-out-for by those (ladies) who are in relationship that has already garnered some semblance of stability. Most probably, the guy has already tasted the sweetness of his babe severally, and if not, maybe they are both of the opinion that will come after marriage. Either way, there won't be need for him to be doing those things because he wants to get in-between the girl's legs.

If he loves the girl, he does several of those things without even knowing. And if he does not, he probably can't be bothered to do them. Then the girl will know, weighing this against other factors and incentives, whether she wants to take the man to the altar.
Don't get this comment at all. Too many grammatical XXXXXX makes it unclear.
Janet Jackson is 46 yrs old and believe me, it really shows. The 36 yrs old billionaire who wants to marry the 46 yrs old American Entertainment Industry veteran needs to have his head examined. The problem is, nowadays men don't listen to their mothers. The believe they are very wise and know what they are doing.
Honestly, Age is nothing but a number. There is no guarantee that if she marries a younger man, she will be any happier. If she was marrying a Nigerian man, then there will be cause for alarm becos they are not known for looking after their women. They are experts in heartbreak and amateurs at sustaining love.

uuhhh? These are the kind of people you are expecting to wear uniform ? This is a Good example of the problem facing Nigeria. When you have people with gutter manners and language on an international forum what does that tell you? People with no values hiding behind shady names. Things have fallen apart and the centre cannot hold it, the next thing for Nigeria is anarchy wink

Egba girl: I swear, anything that any governor does is always misplaced priority! why? There are too many things wrong in our society and to be honest, it's hard to tell which one should come first because they are all intertwined. Biko, let them start from somewhere. let them start small and progress. Enough of the criticism. I honestly dont see anything wrong in bus drivers wearing uniform. no big deal at all as long as they enforce some neatness level like i previously said.
This is the stark reality facing Nigeria . Too many issues. Where do you start? Even just thinking about it will give anyone eternal migraine.
Car TalkRe: Danfo Drivers/conductors To Wear Uniforms And Badges In Lagos by SELFWORTH:
If you want the best for your country or city . First , bring back law and order . This is the foundation of any sane society . Be transparent and accountable to your taxpayers so they can respect what you are doing. Forcing the poorest citizens to abide by a law that you the rich and lawmakers don't respect is just hypocrisy . Another opportunity for Tinubu and co to get rich from uniform contract.

afam4eva: I can understand what the Lagos state government is trying to achieve with all the laws that they've been creating. They want to create a sane society. While there's nothing wrong with that, i don't think Lagosians are ready for that yet. They're supposed to start small and improve as time goes by because this people are hungry people and their actions most times is as a result of their living condition, so it makes more sense to better their living condition and other things will fall into place. If they continue like this, one day these people will match against the government and there will be casualties. You don't turn a poverty stricken city nto London overnight. We should strive to change the livelihood of the people before anything else.
excellent points. Good plan but in a lawless society like NIGERIA? Pls tell me how will they implement it?

jassie: Mr Man, i made it clear in my post that there's no legal excuse for kidnapping.
And mind you, for u to become an auditor general or to attain any high post in the civil service in Nigeria, you'd probably have a political influence of some sort. The truth is this, not much is working well in the country & some of those who strive to do the positive end up getting frustrated
.. So kidnapping one man and his family which includes children will solve the problem of Nigeria ? Small minds !
I don't know if wisdom is the right word to use! I would've prefer saying knowledge. And when I say knowledge, that simple mean knowledge of each other not every marriage out there. I have said this in few threads about relationship and am saying it again, No two marriages or relationships are the same! Even if you both/guys are a set of twins. What works for your twin sister or brother might not work in your own marriage/relationship. Study your partner and know what they like or dislike and when there's problem, let others including family be your very last option. Things that worked for your parent or friends might even cause you more problem if you implement them in yours!
absolutely true.
