Lol. So I just got this from my wife. The man really needs advise. Ehen got it from OAP Toolz's instagram page. Mature responses please! ![]() http://websta.me/n/toolzo/ Lalasticlala

Ucheosefoh:If there's an oba in abuja, he speaks for himself. But beyond that my last paragraph still applies; if his actions whether cultural or not, is not in sync or causes discomfort to the hosts, its behoves on him to change and modify his actions to suit his host; and not just tell them its his culture and they should get along. That's foolhardy. Prominent Igbo not making controversial statements is your opinion and can easily be put down. Prominent Igbo have called Lagos no man's land. Their eze have a 'palace'. In akure the eze wore his crown into the Deji of Akure's palace ( conflicting seriously with the ruling culture there). If those are not examples of controversial statements and intents, I don't know what is... |
Ucheosefoh:But then that's the issue here; you are using your own attitude towards such titles ( indifference) to judge others and their attitude towards such in their own land. That's wrong. Cultures are different and the importance given to the crown in yorubaland isn't same in igboland ( in fact from records the igbo culture isn't used to having kings hence the indifference). If your culture conflicts with another, especially on that other person's land, yours should be the one to pull back. This also applies to grazing fulanis who say its their culture to graze. If it causes conflict or discord in grazing areas outside Fulani land, the fulanis should be the ones to change their culture in those areas to suit the hosts. |
zuchyblink:...and fulanis can keep grazing to Enugu and anambra, whether you like it or not? |
cho25bc:Lol. Actually Cynthia IS the dog - the second dog. MayD is the first. This was just a parable interpretation gone wrong. |
Something must have happened to him for him to have behaved like that. Maybe an occurrence to him or a family member whose life was saved in a vehicle accident. |
poiZon:What's wrong with a fridge repairer aspiring to be governor? |
Its going left. The bus is supposed to have a door. The door is on the other side. That's if the bus is in a left hand drive country. |
lomprico:This isn't impossible. But what is the Igbo reaction? They need to play this smart. They needs real intelligent thinkers, knowing what to say to maneuver out of this. Not the usual grandstanding, threat or playing the victim of marginalisation. |
Excuzeme:Lol. |
brabus:Lol. You got to be kidding me. |
AJORE:From site experience? How many years pls? No offence intended. |
Tell me something new ![]() |
tbagjames:Lol. |
otokx:True. And if you can lambasted LVG who has won champions league and many league trophies. Why not be patient with oliseh. This days, nothing is sure in football. The basics is to know how to plan matches tactically, this is the part our coaches are deficient in. Else there won't be any never for foreign coaches. See. Inspire of the fact that Niger lost to us and Tunisia, I still like the fact that the coach could pull off a high defence line with us, keeping us offside several times. The fact that the players could also carry it out is kudos to the team. It was a bold move by the coach and we could easily see that it was exclusively the coach's instruction. I don't just get the feeling of players carrying out coaches instruction from our local coaches when the team plays. Most players just play to their strength and things crumble when under pressure- cause there isn't much tactical input/plan from the bench. The input is the least a foreign coach should give us. Even if he fails in all else. |
mahyowah:Did you watch the last chan? Your comment aptly described their play more than for this team. I've said its better we just hire a foreign coach if we have to sack oliseh. |
TheGoodJoe:Yeah. He should realise this is more than just a knowledge of the game. It also involves leadership skill inculcation; motivational skills inculcation; awareness of the mental and psychological condition of each player before, during and after each game. Which player to talk to when chips are down that you can be assured that's what he just needs to fire up. What to say to them. Etc So yeah, he should not be feeling like a mourinho just yet. Keshi himself didn't do a whole lot to impress, but I think his stronger skill is know how, when and which players to talk to during matches for motivation ( note, not for tactical awareness) and this may have just changed things around. I said earlier that the players are not used to handling pressure, and this is an ability needed by any player wanting to play at the highest level. I'm not loosing sleep cos this for us is an assessment of players to get into the eagles; and save for the no8, keeper and maaybeee chickatara; most of them don't deserve the move up. Oliseh should be lambasted, but not sacked. |
taurus21:Of course oliseh! I would blame him course he chose these players to start with. I'm sure there are other better players to replace some players here- but I won't sack him, unless I'm ready to hire a foreign coach. The only coach close to him in my ranking is siasia. Other coaches hen, even if we are leading, you can't be sure cos their play would be so unpredictable and confused. If I sack oliseh, I'd rather go foreign. |
forgiveness:He needs to train his skills. His positional awareness is poor. This isn't the Nigerian league where people won't or are not talented enough to keep you offside. He fell for that trap far too many times. His sense of anticipation should also be worked on. Infact all the players are poor in this area. |
taurus21:I was a little surprised at that. A little. I noticed that while playing, subbed player had like 3 chances where if he had taken better decision, probably would have been a goal. Most of them were where he decided to go alone and take a shot instead of passing to a better placed player. I also saw the other players complain to him like twice. ( the third was from the N0.9 but I saw he was in an offside position anyways, so it would be useless passing to him). So apart from unknown injuries, I wasn't totally happy with him even though he seemed like the most active on the pitch. He was like aggrey in the first half against Niger lots of input, little intelligent output. |
cana882:I saw that too, besides all the other time wasting tactics the guinea guys used. Thing is, we don't have leaders in that tea. Someone that reminds the referee of incidences by the opposing team. There were many tackles that for a good team, one Guinean would have gotten a red if well played. The first guy that got the yellow should have been targeted and made to commit more fouls so as to draw the second card from him. Also we don't know how to fall when tackled. Our falls are usually unconvincing and would take a great referee who isnt bought by body movements to get a fair whistle. That's why many Arab countries that get away with diving here usually end up underperforming if they go to Europe. If mourinho himself coached this game, they would gave been under more pressure, committed more mistakes and genraly would have player more poorly. Apart from the obvious technical and physical deficiencies, most of our players are mentally weak. |
I would still retain oliseh though. We could see that he actually had a plan ( even though executed very poorly by the players); he wanted to do a mourinho. Draw them in and counter. It was a wrong plan however. In the first match one could see a clear tactical play. I've observed that our players ( and any player anywhere) usually lose focus and tactical awareness more easily when under pressure. They weren't under much pressure in the first game so they followed the plan. But the more the pressure came in this match, the more they lost their composure on and off the ball. Granted oliseh made a wrong tactical plan. But at least I could see the plan. And I could also easily say that many of the players were not fit physically, technically and mentally to carry out the plan. |
This guys are better than us. No good first touch. Haphazard long balls. Slow sluggish play. Game over. |
Tunisia is leading by 4-0 |
HAH:On your TV menu. Go to balance and set to right or left. If you can do that on your decoder, fine. |
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how to beat a lower ranked team. ![]() |
talktimi:The NBC need the amended law to enforce industry practices. Understand the article. |
Ecoterrorism:From where? Are posting from hospital bed too? Nah. Can't be. Your still a peasant. The day you steal the kind of money those people have stolen, you'll be sending voicenotes to nairaland telling us you're dead. ![]() God forbid. We still want to see your posts. However irrelevant. |

Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is the most suitable....oh wait! She brought us into the mess Kemi Adeosun is trying to swim us out of. Oh well. ![]() I saw this ogundamisi tweet and thought it was idiotic. Should I tweet about it so someone can use it as a counter thread? People have not yet realised what is called scope. The scope of Kemi's responsibilities is much ruduced compared to the bumbling, less effective "coordinating minister of the economy". She deals with finance. This former senator and San (forgot his name) deals with budgets and planning ( with inputs from her ofcourse). Enelamah also has his arm of duties. We have not really heard or even seen these other guys, and not that we need to when we ( excluding ipobs) understand the economics of how we got here and how to get out! |
Ecoterrorism:Pls stay on point. The people you are mentioning here are in the public domain with their limbs and minds intact. |
checkmateman:At the risk of starting an unwanted debate, let me situate this well; you said in essence that any school looking like the ops pic must have copied from funaab if it isn't funaab. The response was that funaab is a third generation university and your responder went on to list the first and second generation universities to show that funaab could only have copied from them and not the other way round. You swerved from his response and zoned in on OAU why? If its the only place you visited, does that mean that funaab isn't third generation and hence, might have copied from the other listed schools? If you had tried to explain why any other university copied from funaab, that would have been an appropriate reply. Also you've been to OAU and you say because of the disorderliness, criminals MAY be hiding there. What is the correlation of that with the beauty of the pic posted? And what is the link between the seeming disorderliness ( of managennt process, of arrangement of trees, of scantiness or concentration of building structures, of the movement of students; etc choose any) with it being a criminal's hideout? Elucidate. |
