PoliticsRe: 2023: Top Northern Politicians Pushing For Southern President by Senatorkolade: 2:15pm On Feb 21, 2021
Don't let the North hoodwink us, they know that the agitation for disintegration of this contraption called Nigeria has gained a momentum with the Igbos and Yorubas standing firm on Biafra Republic and Oduduwa Republic respectively, except the politicians who want their pot of soup (Nigeria) to remain one. They want to use the 2023 to divide the South on our resolute to end this backwardness called Nigeria. We, in the South West have told Tinubu and his co looters to forget 2023. We want Oduduwa Republic.
Look at their antics, they are inviting GEJ to contest the 2023 to make the South South back down on the END Nigeria struggle knowing well that GEJ can only run for a single term of 4 years having spent one term before, and the power will go back to the North for another 8 years. Please let all Southern politicians go and sit down, we want Nigeria to divide. Let the North go their way and the south go our ways. Na by force to live together?
SilverNorGold:
Good...

I will vigorously campaign for any of the following candidates:

1. Governor Dave Umahi.. (my favorite SE governor. He made my top 20 list of great Nigerians we should emulate..)

2. Goodluck Jonathan.

3. Amaechi.

4. Ogbonnaya Onu.. (patriotic, loyal and industrious)

5. Yul Edochie.. (My favorite Nollywood actor. He hates Buhari, that's my only problem with him. But eh, if I like you, I like you.. cheesy)

For equity's sake, power should return to the South, particularly the South East... If not, then South South..

Basically, any good candidate from the SE or SS will have my support. The North and the SW should not contest AT ALL... However, If the SW wants to contest, then the North, especially the NE and the NC, will also contest..

To avoid this, the North and the South West should go and rest and let the SE and the SS have their fun... cheesy

God bless Nigeria.

Nigeria is their pot of soup. Whether El-Rufai or Makinde or Tinubu or Natwalle or Obiano or Wike, they are always united in defending the pot of soup called Nigeria. None of them is interested is common man welfare.

This is shameful for the terrorist-loving Buhari-led APC govt.Saudi Arabis that is more puritanically Islamic is the one using its intel to successfully tracked & identify BH terrorists sponsors right in it's own country.

Now, how did these frontline syndicate wired these staggering amount of monies? Who are their sponsors back home.Perhaps the government will wish the Saudi government never disclose this discovery because they will simply would have grant them amnesty & closed the matter.Ĺ
This shows that Islam also frowns at terrorism. I don't know the type of Islam our Northern Muslims practice.
PoliticsRe: Atiku Abubakar Speaks On EndSARS Protests, Violence And Shootings by Senatorkolade: 12:01am On Oct 22, 2020
Youth are saying it is time for a generational change in Nigerian politics and one old Atiku is warming up for 2023. They no get shame no?
It is pathetic that somebody who is asking for a new Nigeria is the same person campaigning for Atiku. Do we have sense at all? You hate Buhari because he is Hausa Fulani since Hausa Fulani are blood-sucking beings.
Is Atiku a Yoruba-Fulani?
BE WISE, every Fulani will always protect the interest of Fulani tribe at all cost.
PoliticsRe: Ohonbamu: I Am Now Supporting Ize-Iyamu, He Will Defeat Obaseki by Senatorkolade: 11:29pm On Jul 23, 2020
Dear Tinubu haters, read his speech to you.

He says:

"Some people get easily angry whenever they see me being insulted. I think that is childish. I'm a politician and it is my right to be insulted. It is my right to be called names, it is my right to get bad wishes from whoever I outrun in the polity.

Politics, sometimes, is a bully game, don't get distracted, keep your eyes on the ball. It is a game of number but equally important, a game of common sense with sole aim of improving people's lives with right policies.

Mohammed Ali was a great boxer, he punched you once, he ran away, he made you angry so much that you lose your focus and balance, then he would hit you hard..Those who must beat him must never be angry or lose focus while fighting, keep your strategy to yourself....win some, lose some, that's politics but you must strive to win all but you can never win all.....
"As for insults and abuse, I have received uncountable insults since I joined politics. You can see where I am today politically.

I'm a product of insults, left right and centre, that's my food and medicine. I'm not complaining, keep it up..."

PoliticsRe: IGP To Oshiomhole: Don't Go Near APC Secretariat by Senatorkolade: 3:07pm On Mar 07, 2020
I laugh times when I read people mentioning Tinubu when it comes to the APC power play. Yes, Oshiomoles problem is indirectly targetted at Tinubu's 2023 ambition, but the 2023 power play is beyond Tinubu. It is all about the greedy appetite of the North to control power forever. What I want everybody to know is that Northern politicians may have their own individual personal interest in politics but they don't allow it to override the NORTHERN INTEREST but in the south, politician individual interest is above their overall regional interest. This is a singular reason why IGBO PRESIDENCY has not been a reality. Tinubu, Jonathan, Atiku, Buhari, Orji Uzor Kalu, Osinbajo, El-Rufai, Peter Obi, Oshiomole, Rotimi Amaechi, Fashola etc all belong to tbe same ethnic group of the power cliche while you and I belong to the other ethnic group. Atiku can give his daughter in marriage to Tnubu, no problem. Jonathan son can marry El-Rufai daughter, the same circle. But if ME from Lagos with Tinubu want to marry Tinubu's daughter, Tinubu would say who is this poor rag? The point I am making here is that don't support any Nigerian politicians they are all tbe same. You all can see how our lawmakers unanimously rejected the Innoson made in South East cars for foreign cars. Why did South East lawmakers support them?
PoliticsRe: Border Closure: Nigerians Shun Local Rice, Sellers Lament by Senatorkolade: 4:35pm On Oct 16, 2019
I wonder who are those making policies for your government. There is what is called shock stage, honeymoon stage and adaptation stage. You ban the importation of foreign rice to encourage the consumption of local rice and at the same time increased the price of the same local rice you want people to patronise. The shock stage is refered to earlier is the banning of foreign rice. People will react angrily to it and a good policy maker will introduce honeymoon stage where you start subsidising the production of the local rice to make more cheaper. Now that the foreign rice is around N27,000, you make local rice (Stony or no Stony) to be cheap like around N8000. People will be forced to be eating the abandoned local rice since the foreign rice is out of reach. You continue this honeymoon stage for some years when Nigerian taste would have been adapted to the local rice. That is adaptation stage and you gradually withdrawing the subsidy and allow the market dictate everything. During this stages, government should be working with agricultural researchers on the possible production technology that will give Nigerians the lowest price of a bag of rice. That is what responsible governments in the world do.

Frankrobbn1:
If I understand you clearly, your brother submitted an E-medical slip along with his application. However, during an active visa processing he was instructed to undergo another medical exam right? Let me ask, how do you know that his medical exam wasn't good? Did the hospital call him to inform him about it? I know of over 8 applicants who were called for medicals and was rejected starting from December 2018 till March 2019. I was thinking the Kenya visa officer's must have stopped this style of operation. With your brother's case, its appears that getting a medical request still doesn't guarantee issuance of a Visa.
From what I gathered, when an application is submitted, it goes straight to central processing center in Mississauga, where a home Visa Officer will do the initial review. The home officer may recommend a satisfactory status for your file or otherwise at this stage and return it back to the queue online for the lead Visa Officer at the Canadian High Commission in Kenya to later pick it up for final processing. This is where the issue is. Some VOs have a style of inviting applicant for medical once they sight satisfactory remark of the home Visa Officer before they open the file for their own final assessment. Now, during the lead Officers's assessment, he/she may have his/her own issue with the application dossier like the funds issue he raised. Mind you, he has already sent out medical invite and will not hesitate to refuse the application at this stage since he/she has the final say.
Go and check your GCMS notes from the first page to the last page and confirm this story

I am sorry to say but I can see a bit of arrogance in ur comment. I am happy for you that you have gotten your PR but like u mentioned no situation are the same and I still will not agree that SOP or SOA by themselves are the game changer, I believe it is more than that.

As I have previously mentioned, I was refused and I went for JR. I didn't add a single new documents, I didn't change my SOP and with that the refusal was reviewed and I was approved.

Senatorkolade mentioned it in some pages ago that the VOs can sometimes be sloppy and lazy.
Also, all fingers are not equal, we all have different abilities and capabilities, this is why I appreciate frankrobn, he doesn't talk down on people, instead he encourages. Some of us are not so smart as u assumed and will always need help, that is why there is market for agents. ,
Whenever I read some posts especially those made by those who have been approved, he smile. Yoruba adage says "eni Koko e ba ye lo mo lo". That he whose Cocoa husbandry is successful is an expert" whereas those that got theirs unsuccessful are not novices but victim of circumstances. A brother applied in April, he has a BSc in Animal Science and wants to go for a Dipolma in Food and Nutrition. I wrote the SOP for him and today, he is on his way to Canada but me n ko, I was refused.
If your application falls in the hands of a good VO, he/she will not hesitate to approve you even without an SOP but if you meet a sadist and racist, I am sorry, no amount of your sweet SOP will change his)her mind
JUST EQUIP YOUR APPLICATION WITH SERIOUS PRAYERS

His SOP was superb. He's into real estate and he's planning on delving into hospitality business.

They yet to send him Final decision mail until now but he got a pick up mail.
There is a particular VO in Kenya that derives joy in refusing application. Check his/her ID CODE on GCMS notes, u will identify him.
His style of CAIPS notes is
"PA has prior travel and good home ties which are positive factors but I will attach little weight to this positive factors. The PA study plan is vague and poorly documented and not a reasonable expense. Based on this, the PA will not return after his study in Canada. On this reason, I am refusing this Study Permit.

You will find this notes in his notes whereas the practice direction and the manual for Canadian Visa Officers emphasize that once an applicant has a substantial positive factors, the VO needs no further proof of the likelihood of the applicant returning back to his/her home country.
Many of the VO decisions against Nigerians cannot stand the legal scrutiny of judicial review. It is just that it is a bit expensive.

Please, the rate at which I am seeing biometric correspondence coming before medical request or medical changing to pass is getting me scared or is it a new pattern.

I applied on the 7th of June and I did upfront medicals and got a biometric collection letter on the 8th of June then on the 13th of June my medicals was changed to Passed. Review of Eligibility has not started yet, Is this normal or a good sign?

Biometrics validity mail before medical request or upfront medical updated to pass is likely to be a refusal.

I understand people get confused about the biometric correspondence mail (BCM) and link it with ppr. Ideally the bcm should be gotten immediately after your biometrics but due to the delay in processing applications it comes at a later date. It can come at any time and it is just a default mail you receive after biometrics.
Thanks

After I was done with high school in 2015 I got admitted to a private uni the following year. It happened that I was not given my desired course coupled with other reasons i had to change. Then last year I applied for a US student visa. The first one was weird considering that I was hardly asked any question and those that went before me(long line oh)got refused aside like 3 people which were of old age. Then the second interview this year January went well but I was given a wrong bank statement. It was quite frustrating but didn’t let it stop me from applying for a Canadian trv. Then d following month I proceeded to submit my application at Lagos vfs. Then first week of April I got my medical request which I did at IOM. After which I checked my account some days later and saw medical passed. Then I got my correspondence on the 23rd. I was thinking I’d get my approval d next day oh but it was still processing and my Uni was to resume in May, so I just decided to give them a week. After no reply i sent emails to Kenya and Lagos telling them I’ll soon resume and pleaded to them for an update. Then on d 7th of May I got an email saying they have finalised my application. I logged in straight and saw final decision has been updated to approved with my counterfoil details below. I was really happy. Then some hours later I got an email from vfs that my passport is ready for collection. I was surprised cause I thought it’ll take some days. I went there this morning with my mom and picked it up in a sealed brown envelope. Opened it and d first thing I saw was d page which my visa was issued on. I just put my trust in God from the beginning and prayed over it with my mom(God bless her) and God answered our Prayers.

I didn’t know about this thread on nairaland till like 2 weeks after I submitted. Seeing d documents some submitted and I was like what?? I just knew i had all d CIC documents on d website, the financial documents my mom listed out,my educational documents and d sop which my sister recommended. I wasn’t able to link my application online for about 5 weeks after trying severally. It really bothered me but I just tried to keep calm. I messaged CIC and Kenya. Got replies from them but it wasn’t d answer tho. Not so long after that my medical mail came in with my app number and UCI which I used to link my profile online. Not to mention in my sop I didn’t explain d study gap(Don’t try it oh)cause I didn’t know how I’d explain it well to the VO in a way that won’t end up complicating things(had it typed down already a night before submission)so I just decided to leave it out but made sure I listed out what I did after high school in my study permit questionnaire(Attached a letter from where I was taking my computer courses). After my Medicals was passed I just had more faith that it will end in praise and thankfully it did. Like I said before I just prayed over and over. With God all things r possible!

Will be Travelling to British Columbia this week.

To all trv hopefuls I hope God will see you through.
Congrats
