My sister's app was updated this morning to reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements. Without medical request. Please what's the meaning of this? She got the biometrics correspondence letter this morning also.
About to make decision.
When did she apply?

Hello guys, I sincerly appriciate all your efforts and selfless service in putting every applicant through in our documentation for visa approval . May God almighty crown all our effort with success. AMEEN! Please guys I would like to ask some vital questions as regards my visa application.

1. I intend to do online submission so I have already filled my study permit form and also validated it but im confused on the aspect where they ask if I had already lived in any designated country for the past six years and if I was refused visa before. In 2014 I travelled to Qatar for work but returned back to Nigeria in 5 months after.....also in 2015 I was refused visa to attend a conference in Germany

2. My question is, I don't have any employment letter as prove of work in Qatar but, I still have my expired residence permit id card. So can I include it in my sop or I should not even mention it as part of travel experience in my application since I do not have the employment letter. Although, the residence permit for my qatar travelling is on my expired passport not the new one I have now

3. Can I state in my form that I was also refused Germany visa some years back. This also appears on my old passport. Should I include it or not since its on my old passport.

4. On my new passport I was refused a shengen tourist visa in Feburay 2019. So I only included this alone as my only refusal.. should I leave it like that or what.... Pleas, i need an urgent reply to this above questions from the guru in the house. Thanks and God bless you all.
Please declare all refusals.

Please pardon me if this post will offend so many people. The gurus we are referring to here got their expertise through personal online research and life experiences. They are as busy as you think you are. I find it disturbing when some people come here and start asking questions that have been attended to repeatedly
I am not saying people should not ask questions, but the questions should be clarifications on what you have read yourself from part 1 to Part 15.
This reminds me of a friend I introduced Nairaland student visa thread to, he opened the thread once and he came back to me telling me he is too busy to be reading those posts but this guy is not busy spending hours watching European football matches.
If you cannot do a simple research on Nairaland, how would you cope with the rigorous research work Canadian study entails?
Please start your research work from this Nairaland so that you won't go and fumble in Canada.

Wooow, this peeps are heartless tho, after 11 months they can still refuse someone TRV.. I feel ur pain tho.. I will suggest as usual to request for ur GCMS note, as it implies, the reason for ur refusal was the almighty Purpose of Visit meaning you didn't really convince them that you were a genuine student that wants to study in Canada and return to ur home country.. So request for ur GCMS note and see the real reason why u were refused.. I feel for you bro cos my application is 10 months too, waiting that long to get refused can be so heartbreaking, but dont give up bro re-apply again and u will get it.. But meanwhile wanna ask some questions, Did ur Eligibility review start before the refusal? Did u do upfront medicals for ur app? will appreciate ur response.. So please follow what i have sent earlier and get back to us when ur GCMS note is ready... Peace

This is indeed God!!

I tap into a good news like this!

Approval alert!!!

Paper route Feb 15
Biometric Feb 15
Upfront medicals
Biometric correspondence mail. April 18
Approved. April 24.
Classes begins: May 13th. MUN

I am so so grateful to God, don't even know where to start from. My approval is a miracle o. I never knew about this forum until 3 weeks after applying, whoops!! And when I started reading posts here I was so scared that I messed up my application, because I felt my documents I submitted wasn't complete, like affidavits of sponsor, certificates, and what made me scared the most was my sponsor..I used a third party sponsor, I don't even know the person, he just allowed me to use his SOA (but he was a kind man tho. I approached him that day and gave Me his SOA the next day) and my parent weren't financially buoyant at all.. I just used what I saw on Google and CIC website to apply o.
So when I started reading post here about the nairobi guys, home ties, third party sponsor...I was so damn scared , I lot hope already, I was just waiting for a refusal sef so I can reapply better and in peace, because the tension ehh no be here o.
A big thank you to @ Qudkom @ makano for your advice. @Dmerciful my personal VO ,i worried him as if he was the VO handling my application o..lol, he advised me to send another SOA (mine and my elder brother)via web form and mail to them even after getting biometric correspondence mail. thanks for your support and prayers only God can repay you.
Above all i thank God almighty for his favour and grace. I fasted and prayed earnestly, and God almighty manifested .
Thanks to everyone on this platform and to all the hopefuls, God will show his favour on your application. Amen.
You are next to testify.

If you went via the paper route and have gotten any update especially for the Visa Office handling the application, please identify if its Kenya or Ghana.

Someone got approved from Ghana VO, applied via Lagos VFS.

The reason for this is to have the knowledge if there has been a/any change in VO handling whether Paper or Online.
Is London no more attending to applications from Nigeria again?.

Yours is a new one
Could you please shed more light on the judiciary review.
Looks like an interesting one
Nice to be on this platform.
Congratulations once more
Once u are refused, you can challenge the VO decision in Canadian Fwderal Court called judicial review. The immigration lawyer will sue the IRCC and the VO for arbitrariness in reaching the decision of your refusal. Most of the decisions made by the VOs are always not in tandem with the immigration rules or law. The court after hearibg the brief from your lawyer and that of the IRCC will set aside the decision of the VO (allow the appeal) and order that the application be remitted to another VO to decide.
But the judicial review is somehow expensive. It cost between $3000 and $6000.

June 2018 to November 2018 was the craziest period in the history of Canadian visa applications. Canada received over seventy thousand applications which include visit, spousal and study permits. This is crazy and it was the highest in the whole world. Unfortunately, over 80 percent of these applications went to London visa office. This huge application overwhelmed the visa officers that an emergency immigration committee was formed and they brainstormed on how to attend to this backlog. You know Oyinbos with their funny ways of reasoning, they reasoned that many Nigerians wanted to run away because of the just concluded election. And as such, need to discharge those applications by mass refusals. In fact, a CEO of one of our popular banks was refused a tourist visit visa that time.

Hello Senator,

I think you should reread what I wrote. There was never a used phrase of words that might result to an argument in my assertions, rather I stated facts like you've done and further buttress the points made by @Austacus as valid.
I did not direct the post to you. I was trying to caution that after the fact has been said and you also buttressed it, if the person who is still doubting it is not satisfied, he/she can lie on the form and see the consequence as evidence.

This reflects a lot in gcms notes especially if there is travel histories to an applicant's name. I haven't bother researching it but i have come across it severally on gcms notes.

You can make some available to you for self verification
Why all these arguments about Canada sharing immigration info with other countries?
The fact there is that they definitely do.
SO IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ANY EVIDENCE, JUST IN YOUR APPLICATION ABOUT YIUR PREVIOUS REFUSAL MOST ESPECIALLY USA, NEW ZEALAND OR AUSTRALIA.
The evidence will surface instantly.

Environmental technology has to with the application of technology to environmental problems whilst, Agricultural economics & extension is an applied field of economics concerned with the application of economic theory in optimizing the production and distribution of Agricultural food etc... As a consequence, there are no rational correlation between both programs. It's normal for applicant's to change a career path. On other note, applicant must write convincingly to why he is not furthering in the discipline of his previous studies. He might want to quote the associated incentives of his career back home after the completion of the program in Canada, employment opportunities, career goals etc... as a reason for a change while putting up his letter.
Let the person used this as a guide. The below is how somebody related Agrivulture to Environmental Science and got approved. Please avoid plagiarism.

"I am applying for a position in the Masters of Environmental Science offered at........ With my qualification and my current experience as a...... I wish to broaden my professional knowledge of Agriculture and turn my focus towards a sustainable environment. Sustainable agriculture involves the use of a large number of chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides which have detrimental effects on the soil, water, air, and climate. We modify the ecosystem because we want sustainable food production. According to Middleton in 2013, the agriculture we want to sustain must be system sustainable. It must be multifunctional, regenerative, biodiverse and interconnected with the natural landscape (which is environment)". Benton, Vickey, and Wilson in 2013 also opined that when the environment exhibited a heterogeneous mixture of species, the overall biodiversity of the area increased. Another reason for my motivation to study environmental science as a farm entrepreneur is that "soil is not a factory. It is an organism. (Luoma 1989), our agricultural practices have various effects on soil health. We tilt the soil to immobilize the soil structure. We apply chemicals like herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers to kill soil microbes. Besides, the contribution of agriculture to the world's greenhouse effect is another concern to me as a farmer. Smith and Martino (2007) reported that agriculture is responsible for emitting 10℅ to 12% of the world's total greenhouse gas emission. So it is imperative for me as a farmer to study more in the area of environmental science towards a friendly and sustainable environment while achieving the sustainable food production we desire. By reading the course curriculum on the website, I have found that the subjects offered in Environmental Science will best suit my career goal..............

My brother, you are doing a good job on this forum, God will bless you.

Always look at the big picture. You have waited for about 40 weeks and you want to spoil it all with a nasty message to the VO/CIC? To what end? I am not saying do not communicate how you feel to them but sending a nasty or rude message is a NO NO. You can let them know how this wait has affected you psychologically and so forth but please be polite.

Please sleep well tonight, tomorrow and maybe take some days off Nairaland and do something outside to have fun before you send any message to CIC. How can you let this anger go? Thank God daily for having the opportunity to apply to Canada, it is a rare privilege only few will have in life.

Any pain you are feeling now, the moment you get that visa, you will forget it. Hold on bro, please hold on. I am very positive you are coming to Canada very soon, you will get your visa and you will share your testimony here but please don't let anger prevent you from reaching the promise land.

God bless.
I have the belief that this application will come out positive.
