This is a case of limited competition versus unlimited competition. Limited competition occurs when an industry is privatized but the government prevents new competitors from entering the industry through over-regulation. The result of that is that the existing companies can collude with each other to keep prices artificially high. The solution is to remove all barriers to entry so that new competitors can enter the market and reintroduce competition.

In order words, when deregulation fails, it is often because the deregulation is not carried far enough. When the government privatizes an industry, it often fails to leave open the door for new entrepreneurs.

I'm tired of hearing all these lazy excuses. Action is what makes a difference. Women are so full of excuses.
