Christianity EtcRe: The Man Called Pastor Chris Oyakhilome! by Seun(mod): 6:17pm On Dec 10, 2006
And all he does is get people emotional i don't hear the teaching
The church is a place for emotional refreshment. Nothing of value needs to be passed accross.
Good entertainment is always about the emotions, and nothing more.

If you need knowledge, visit a library and pick up a textbook on science or economics!

I have no problem with the man. As an entertainer, his act is really tight. He gives you value for your money. grin

BusinessRe: When Should Founders Leave A Business? by Seun(mod): 2:05pm On Dec 10, 2006
When the company no longer belongs to the founder but has become a political institution, the founder should leave. A business without soul is not worth wasting one's life on. One should start a new business with the money.

I'm dissapointed that nobody emailed me about this attempt at fraud for such a long time.

I did not send it, and I don't intend to send any ridiculous emails of that nature.

You should have sent a reply to admin@nairaland.com. Obviously the scammer doesn't want that.

Pitiful.

FamilyRe: Can Men Be Trusted? by Seun(mod): 8:44am On Dec 10, 2006
I'm sure that at least 50% of men can be trusted.
Women ignore those ones because they are "boring" (that is, not rich).

TV/MoviesRe: Wanted: Great Scripts And Stories For Movie Production by Seun(mod): 9:46pm On Dec 09, 2006
Solution to the piracy problem: get corporate sponsors to cover the cost of development so that consumers will only need to pay for the cost of duplication. That way, your movies might even be cheaper than the pirated copies.
RomanceRe: Playboys Are Better Men Than Others? by Seun(mod): 4:15pm On Dec 09, 2006
MyPeace: There is also this story, It happend to my Friend. She was desperately looking for a husband, and you know guys, when they know that you have approached your 30s, they will come with marriage as No 1.

It happened that this 'IDIOT' played my friend to the extent that she lost all her belongings to this guys (Material and Cash) at the end the guy ran away.

He was so wicked that he even asked her to rent out the house she was staying since they wont stay there again after their wedding (notwithstanding that the period he was doing all these thing, he lived with her) and she did. When the guy ran away, my frnd had no place to live, no work and no money to feed.

Because of the fustration, she traveled home, and took the guy's name to OKIJA SHRINE and instructed the priest to IMPREGENANT ALL THE MALE IN THE GUYS FAMILY. The Priest did this. Though She has not heard or seen the guy till date, so no one knows whether the Okija Shrine something worked on them or not.
The lady in question is truly a dull woman. First she was swindled by a lover, then she was swindled by an Okija priest who claimed he could remotely plant children inside men's bellies. What a gullible, stupid woman!

TV/MoviesRe: What's The Difference Between A Film And A Home Video? by Seun(mod): 8:50pm On Dec 07, 2006
So you think it's the celluloid that makes Amazing Grace a good movie?
How ridiculous. It's the theme and the script and the acting and cinematography.

Celluloid is just an expensive medium whose resolution is equivalent to HD video. The meat is in the content.
Shooting in film vs shooting in video makes little difference to the quality of the resulting VCD or DVD.

And you can shoot film quality on video (for cinema projection) by using an HD camcorder like the Cinealta.

TV/MoviesRe: 'The Next Movie Star' TV Show by Seun(mod): 8:47pm On Dec 07, 2006
It takes more than just winning a talent competition to become a movie star.
Genevieve Nnaji didn't win any talent competition, and neither did Omotola Jolade or Ramsey Nouah.

ThiefOfHearts: I saw "30 days", Genevieve's new movie, She and and the producer came to the Nigerian Reunion in ATL to show it. The movie was a total ripoff of "Set It Off", only difference was that this one was more poltical than about mere survival. There's a scene with thois guy who supposedly just came from America and he gave Gene ORAL while they were in bed. It had to be the most uncomfortable thing I ever watched. Ugh, they are trying TOO hard to be what they are not, or not what they were raised to be.
From www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-32182.128.html#msg746645. Hmmm!

Here's a brilliant idea - next time you should patronize a female doctor.
(I bet you didn't even tell the doctor in question that you were uncomfortable with his examination. Shame!)
