Be sure that God has spoken to you about it, and hold on to God's promise! Ask God again to be sure you heard right! Many prophets mislead! It is better to hear from God and trust him. |
harakiri:We are definitely not talking about DAVIDianity or JONATHANianity! It's about CHRISTianity! Christ never endorsed homosexuality! That said, David and Jonathan were not homosexuals . . which bible have you been studying? |
OBJ is not a hero. OBJ is not the hero of democracy! Maybe FiiDiiFii hero, sha! |
PAGAN 9JA:It's just like loving your child but hating his kleptomania! You love him but that doesn't mean you love or approve of his thieving habit! Loving someone (as God commands) who is Homosexual does not mean you love Homosexuality. |
^^^ If he initiated the 'BREAK', he knew what he was doing all along. He wanted to be able to go to Naija and do the wedding without 100% guilt! He was dumping you cowardly! He had been cheating on you so it's best to just let people like that go. He's not worth it! If it helps, 'mourn him' and get over it quickly! It may even help if you delete all his contact details and not get in touch with him for the next couple of years! Your man is out there! |
The bible refers to homosexuality as an 'abominable act' before the lord, therefore, it is not Christianly or Christ-like to be homosexual. God commands us to LOVE OUR NEIGHBOUR not LOVE EVIL/ABOMINABLE ACTS! It is possible to love THE HOMOSEXUAL and hate THE HOMOSEXUAL ACT! We still owe homosexuals a duty of love, peradventure they will turn wholly to the Lord when they see his love through us! Christ did not revel in sin; Christians should not revel in sin! Homosexuality is SIN and the Bible spells it out clearly! Those struggling with this sin can ask God to help them overcome it, and they will if they do ask, and obey! |
@ all posts Naija people sabi discipline pikin! See as una deal with this pikin so tay she dey beg una say she no wan marry again! Tonguelashing pass pankere! The only 'infrastructure' well maintained in Nigeria is 'Customer Shafting Personnel'; everywhere you turn they are there. At the airports, banks, schools, governemnt offices . . . . everywhere! Sorry, Madam Mrs Senator, I saw that same pile of poo in 2006 and I haven't forgotten what it looks like . . . and even if you had managed to find some space to do the business, you may have had to clean up with your hands - no toilet paper and no water . . . . your aides would have come to your aid sha! |
KunleOshob, abeg share your findings with us! Have your views changed? |
phxc:^^^^^ The consequences of possible disobedience was explained to him by HIS MAKER! In your above scenario, the robber does not own the air the victim breathes! . . . . and Adam still exercised his freewill, didn't he? God commands that we love our neighbour, yet people still go about murdering, rap+ing and robbing others! They are exercising their freewill knowing fully well that there will be consequences - good or bad - for whatever they do. You will not throw a party for someone kills your child but you could for someone who saves your child's life! The reward for obedience (doing good) and disobedience (doing bad) are not the same, and we have the CHOICE to choose whether we OBEY AND LIVE (get rewarded) or DISOBEY AND DIE (get punished)! |
Definitely Joagbaje! ![]() |
Why didn't you 'interrogate' her before you guys had sex?? You chop the girl finish, you come turn to interrogator! Egbagirl and others have said it all. |
I feel so sad for you, OP! Forget this bloke! He is bad news! Let him have fun with his 'native' wife! I was talking to an ex some three months ago and he introduced me to his fiancee - they had been living together for just over a year! Some two weeks ago, he got married to someone else! Nigerian men do this all they time . . . . they usually have about 3 fiancees at a time and end up breaking hearts! Please, take heart and move on. May God give you comfort and strength. |
Life imprisonment if guilty! |
Sweetnecta, I think you missed road on the quote! . You may wish to read the thread so that you understand why the quote was posted by Krayola. You will then understand better the part you emboldened, in context! Peace be unto you, Egbon! K'olorun ji'wa 're o! |
KunleOshob's link also made a very interesting read, I must say! http://www.modernghana.com/news/247818/1/the-jews-lied-against-africa-to-ascend.html Thank God for God! Kudos to all contributors! |
Krayola:Thanks for referring me to this thread, Pastor AIO. It confirms what I thought about you since my first encounters of your contributions! I enjoyed reading through the whole thread! The above quote posted by Krayola, I love most! |
Goat meat tastes absolutely fantastic however you cook it! Asun is even so delish! The OP has obviously not tried Amala + Gbegiri + Ogufe in Ibadan! . . . . . next flight to Lag, please! |
busybody20:The above is what you need to do, if you need to get back home before you can get a passport for the baby. They will most likely ask you questions (nothing really serious )at the immigration desks on your way out of the country but I promise you, they do not want to keep you and your baby. They will be quite happy that you are leaving of your own accord! Just make sure you have the baby's details entered on your passport at the Nigerian Embassy. I think it can be done in one day on the old passports . . . . . . . don't know about the new ones! The forms you need should be available on the Nigerian High Commission website. I think they will ask for a signature from the baby's father as consent to have baby's details on your passsport but this doesn't apply if the dad's details is not on the birth certificate. |
Sweetnecta:^^^^ Sorry, Sweetnecta, I do not think we should derail musKeeto's thread! If you have any questions, please create your own thread! Let us allow the OP's topic to be discussed. You need to stop hijacking Xtian threads for the intent and purpose of Islamic promotion on the back of Xtianity bashing! Your texts quoted do not show that 'Jesus said disobedient/disrespectful children are worthy of death anyway! Please, take any questions you have for me that do not contribute any enlightenment to the OP's topic to one of our old threads and I'll gladly answer! |
From: http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/-Sweet-justice-wronged-yahoofinanceuk-246365240.html It's a fear at the back of the minds of millions — after you spend vast sums buying then personalising a house to turn it into your home, misfortune, rising rates or a single bad decision could see the bank take it back. But for one couple, the injustice of such a move saw them turn the tables and gain a court order to repossess property of the bank that tried to foreclose on them. So how did this "sweet justice" — to use the words of the lawyer representing the couple — come about? Well, in the same way it happens to thousands of normal homeowners — the bank made a mistake and then didn't pay for it as the costs rose. How it happened Back in 2009 Warren Nyerges — a retired policeman — and his wife Maureen Collier bought a house for $165,000 (£100,000) on the Golden Gates Estates development in Florida. But paid entirely in cash and so never took out a mortgage. Sadly for them, the fact they had no debt on the property didn't stop the Bank of America initiating repossession proceedings against them in February 2010. Of course, never having a mortgage in the first place meant their lawyer — Todd Allen — won, and proceedings were dropped. But this wasn't a cost-free exercise for the Nyerges, resulting in more than $2,500 (£1,500) of legal fees. These, they repeatedly requested the bank compensate them for. The fallout The couple went to the courts to get their compensation. The courts agreed, and told the bank to pay them their due. After another five months without their money, despite phone calls and letters, they simply took the next logical step and got a foreclosure order against the bank. "They've ignored our calls, ignored our letters, legally this is the next step to get my clients compensated," Allen told CBS News. The lawyer and two policemen, along with a moving van, then reported to the bank to collect desks, chairs computers and anything else of value — even the cash from the tellers' draws — to compensate the wronged couple. And if you want to see the tables turned — you can view TV news reports of the event here. Local reports tell us that under this pressure from the law and the media, it only took about an hour for the bank manager to produce a cheque for $5,772.88 (£3,515.11) to cover the bills the couple had built up. "We apologise to Mr Nyerges that there was a delay in receiving the funds," the bank's written statement to the Naples News reads. "The original request went to an outside attorney who is no longer in business." ^^^ Now, this doesn't happen 'very often'! |
Well . . . . . . . . . . . ., we now have the FOI to use to check if Mr Ikhazoboh was 'clean'! If Mr Ikhazoboh has nothing to hide, a show/and or online service should not be taken down because of him! He should simple come forward with proof that what was presented on the show was lies! |
^^^^^ LOL! Highly unlikely! |
Nigerians are not likely to ever suffer from 'paris Syndrome' then! ![]() |
musKeeto:Sorry, I didn't see the above bolded in your OP! If you meant whether 'courts' are biblical, I did answer yes in post #3. Perhaps, you only read my post # 2. -----------------added at 11.14 pm ----------------------- I had to touch on the 'do not judge' misconception which was your premise, otherwise, you simply were asking whether it was right to be a Judge or Lawyer since Jesus said not to judge. Or were you? The Bible nowhere says not be a Judge/Lawyer! Israel had judges! |
Sweetnecta:Egbon! Egbon! Egbon! Mo n je yin! Where did Jesus say disrespectful/disobedient Children are worthy of death? Please, quote the Chapter and verse - and stick to the matter! The rest I just have to ignore because they have been explained to you over and over again on NL! When you read the Bible with a mindset of disbelief and hatred, you will not understand it! |
Courts are 'biblical', if you mean recognised by the Bible - Jesus even used one in one of his parables! Courts (secular) do not take God's forgiveness in to account when sentencing. They follow the rule of Law laid down in their jusridiction. Lawyers/Judges will not go to hell for being Lawyers/Judges but for being ungodly! God has forewarned of the fate of the ungodly whether they be Lawyers/Judges or not! Religious courts who sentence people to death for sin are not of God - it is for God to give the ultimate punishment! God wants sinners to repent, not be put to be robbed of the chance to reconcile with God by fellow men! |
'Do not judge. Only God can judge'Did you find the above in the Bible? Please, provide the Chapter and verse! My understanding of the widely misunderstood and misinterpreted 'do not judge' is that no one has the right to say somebody else does not deserve God's forgiveness! It is not a godly thing to condemn someone to death (in deed or in thought) for a sin which God has the authority to forgive! The Bible tells us that the measure with which we mete out to others will be applied to us. If we condemn someone to death for adultery (which is erring against God), then we should expect to be condemned to death for telling a lie (which is erring against God), as all sin is equal before God. |
@ PastorAIO Could you please tell me what you mean when you make a distinction between 'Spiritual' and 'Official' ministries?Spiritual - of God - what God told you he wants you do Official - of Man/Church - as in ordained in a church I'll read 'where you are coming from' in a minute. Thanks! |
Is it supposed to be a yearly expenditure? What about the previous ones? Anyway, the one I applied for in 2005 (I think), I am still waiting for it! |
He was lucky to have gotten only 10 days o! |
Did she forget to chop it up in pieces enough to render it 'unsurgeonable'? That way he would not come back again! Ohun oju wa l'oju nri! |
