FamilyRe: Women, Did You Change Your Signature After Marriage? by seyibrown(f): 3:15pm On May 04, 2011
oada:
I didnt change mine, but i know of a woman who didnt change hers for many years , then she travelled to America for some business or so, and she was in a situation where she was required to get something after she had filled a form and signed her signature, she signed and was told that her signature has nothing to so with her name, i.e her signtaure was totally different from what she has written as her name, so she had to change it to reflect her name. so if you are married and your signature as a single lady is totally off what your new name is, then please change it, you never know when it would be a problem.  Mine somehow fits into my married name so i didnt bother changing it.
Your signature can consist of any characters you want. Your signature does not have to have elements of your name. Thumbprints have nothing to do with one's name and are accepted in place of signature in most cases. Your signature is your unique sign, not your name or part of your name. Nobody can force you to include your name in your signature, or change it. My signature for example does not read my name at all! It is coded, and only once in my life have I ever had to clearly write out what it consists of!
RomanceRe: Caught My Fiance Cheating: Kai, What Should I Do? by seyibrown(f): 1:49pm On May 03, 2011
@ poster?

What would he do if it was you he had caught?  grin  grin I don't think this was his first time and not sure he will stop doing it . . . but you know him better, don't you?  Let's say you want to give him a chance; I'd say postpone any wedding plans, let him show you that he can stay faithful to you for at least the next two years - if you are not in a hurry to rush into a 'open marriage' ('open only on the husband's side  grin)! If he doesn't impregnate or marry someone else within this time-frame, you should consider him reformed  . . . . . but it still does not guarantee that he won't 'backslide' when you are married!

Or you could just do what he would do if he had caught you in a man's house at 5am? Simples!  wink
Foreign AffairsRe: Gaddafi's youngest son and 3 grandchildren killed in NATO air strike by seyibrown(f): 1:33pm On May 03, 2011
@ topic

I felt sad that more lives had been lost. I also thought that Ghaddafi himself had murdered/ caused the death of other people's sons and grandchildren . . . . and all because he will not relinquish powerhuh If he loved his children and children so much, he would have let the Libyan people choose who should lead them. He 'watches' (orders??) as his forces kill 'his people' in his bid to hold on to power.  sad All he has to do is step down; Libya is not his personal property for goodness' sake!

Hopefully, he will think twice about Islama-bin-Laden's end (since he doesn't care about the lives of his people) and reconsider his position!

Mrs Fish, Salmon, nutter, slapper, littleman, peck, titman, goodfellow, sangogbewonsanle, Olorunbeloriite  grin . . . . . .  any name you want!  grin It's not illegal or immoral to keep one's maiden name! Many ignore the weightier matters in Marriage like faithfulness, honour, love, respect, and harp on about the ones that don't take one strand of hair off the head!  huh
Christianity EtcRe: Should You Break Up With Your Boyfriend After Giving Your Life To Christ? by seyibrown(f): 1:31am On May 03, 2011
If staying in the relationship will mean that you will be fornicating with him, then you need to break up with him, and not enter into any other relationships that will lead you into fornication. You will need a partner who understands and agrees to 'flee fornication'!
PoliticsRe: Full Text Of CBN Circular Limiting Cash Withdrawals & Deposits by seyibrown(f): 11:55pm On May 02, 2011
The infrastructures needed to make this type of policy work do not exist! It will only cause unnecessary pain for the populace! Perhaps, the CBN has plans to give us uninterrupted power supply, 70% nationwide internet/phone network coverage, Adequate consumer protection and education about their rights when the Banks mess up! The uneducated will suffer the most!

^^^ For clarification, when I say 'Allah', I refer to the one Muslims refer to as God!  . . . and when I talk aboout Jesus, I am not referring to the one you and other Muslims believe in; I am referring to the one that resurrected into heaven, the one that died for our sins, the one in whom we have life everlasting!  smiley

This guy called sanusi is MAD. the same made banks to withdraw all ATM machines that are not within banking premises and if you must use ATM u must get to the bank, so why do we have the machines in the first place cos its purpose has been defeated. Even if you withdraw N100k at the counter they will charge you N200. all what those embattled banks are after is just ripping off free cash from the public.
WHAThuh shocked Given security issues in Nigeria, good move but it does reduce customers' access to their money. Thank God say before corn dey, na something chicken dey chop o! wink

we don tire 4 una talk talk n lie lie n story story.even bible (your "holy" book) nor fit back una up.
can you tell me of just 1 christian who believed in your "resurrection of your so called lord and saviour" and died and came back to life?

does the bible not teach you about other prophets like Abraham and Isaac? infact in your faith if one is not descended from Isaac he would never be accepted as a prophet.so where are they?have they returned from the dead?

propaganda nor dey work for religion.bring facts not fiction.
You mean the 'books' (torah + injil) that you claim Allah wrote? The one Allah looked the other way while it was being corrupted? Will he abandon the 'latest' book (Quran) when it gets corrupted over the next centuries and 'write' another one? Perhaps, you haven't read the one he has written since?  wink

Anyways, after all these years, you still seem to be missing the fact that Jesus resurrected and went back to the father in heaven. Lazarus was raised from the dead and lived among his people. Those who resurrect will not remain here; they will be going before the father. Our resurrection is coming! Allah could not raise a lazarus from the dead, talk less of resurrecting Jesus or anyone - that's why you couldn't give me any examples from Allah!

No chance, Bro,  if you die not believeing in him who raised Christ from the dead!

Given the absence of an ombudsman to protect consumer's interests, it will be fraud galore for thieving bankers when Sanusi puts the fate of thousands of Illiterate Mama Sikiras in the hands of the all-powerful bankers!  angry Educated people have been victims of bankers' fraud; what chance have illterate business people got with rude and helpful bank staff, 'ever-down' and infiltrable computer systems and fraudsters? Small time bank balance of 10,000,000,000.00 go become 1,000,000,000.00 and Iya Sikira no go even get clue! CONSUMER PROTECTION AND EDUCATION FIRST! The penalties to be imposed for withdrawing one's own money is totally ridiculous! The 'not so rich' will suffer for it! The idea is welcome but the penalties aren't. Businesses who need to pay out cash totalling more than limit a day will suffer as well considering that not all consumers are banked and not all small business accept cards or bank transfers! Even some government offices take in more than the limit daily. Who ultimately bears the cost of the penalties? Poor consumers will be twice done over! .  . . . . .  and while they are at this their money laundering control 'thing' it, they should consider mandating that all payments to government offices be paid into the bank.  . . . . . nigerian citizens are getting shafted everday by corrupt 'government officials who do not have to account for the unreceipted fees forced on the citizenry! CASH PAYMENTS AT GOVERNMENT OFFICES SHOULD BE STOPPED! angry
BusinessRe: CBN Imposes Limits, Penalty On Cash Transactions, Again! by seyibrown(f): 1:45am On May 01, 2011
Great idea  . . . but what is this nonsense about the penalties? Another way for only the rich, powerful and corrupt to bypass this 'money laundering control'? You are not allowed to withdraw 300,000 cash but if you can afford the penalty, you can. The very reason for the control is defeated if those who can afford (rob, embezzle, take bribes) it can 'pay' their way!

i am not preaching. i am not a preacher. we are just exchanging ideas.

faith, rather good faith is from God alone Who laid out the foundation for all to follow in revealed Books, the latest book, the Quran being what to use as guidance to Him, today till end of time.

but then if i offended you, i apologize since my intention is not to turn anyone off. i will dislike anyone making me get turned off and tuned out from what is potentially and absolutely beneficial.

Christianity EtcRe: Easter Gift: “the Christian God: Blood And Human Sacrifice” by seyibrown(f): 12:50pm On Apr 27, 2011
^^^^ . . .  and then Allah did not raise him from the dead . . . . . . . is that because Allah does not raise anyone from the dead? Is there any hope of resurrection in Allah? Life after death is not Allah's modus operandi!  When you are dead in Allah, he can't do anything for you! Or has he done it for anyone before?

Through Christ we have victory over death and know that our father who raised him from the death hath the power to do so and more for us! Our father is not limited by the law of nature or the dictates/reason of men. He is the father who can father a son without a wife . . . and why not? He made all things and all things are possible in him ; nothing is too hard for God(Jeremiah 32:27- “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? ). He is able to come down to his own people in a form they understand, and bring them salvation!

EarsWide:
@Jenkins718

It is not a natural progression for things done in private be extended into the classroom or anywhere else.

I dont think homosexuality be taught as a way of life or promoted in anyway - but gay people should not be discriminated against. There are people who are born gay - why should they have less rights ?

Homosexuality is not contagious - you are either gay or not - you cannot be converted into an homosexual.
. . . but non-gay minors can be groomed (or molested) to become gay or bi! Where does the 'endless supply' of 'consenting' gay partners come from?

It's not difficult to get the govt to take this matter of promising lives being taken away by wicked individuals seriously! Those posted to the North should not turn up! The government does not care about what happens to those whose lives have been wasted!

I sign this petition o!  angry

Hello @ Poster,

The Simple MEDICINE is "Distance". Yes, distance yourself from him. that is first step

Secondly, do not go out with guys or men and if you must do let them be people that you can defend yourself easily from him let say your relatives.

Finally, as you said you loves him fine do put it in PRAYER, believe me if he really loves you three months might be so far for him to start looking for you.
^^ This poster's said it! Distance yourself from him! Go to your parents' or friend's for a week/a month or three! It's high time you sat down and SERIOUSLY ASSESSED whether this relationship is right for you! IMO, This bloke is not the type to date; please, don't even think about marrying him unless you plan to have your body 'pummel-proofed' before you sign the dotted lines.

FamilyRe: The Nonsense Called Divorce Settlement by seyibrown(f): 1:52am On Mar 26, 2011
I think the OP should put his Sisters (no insult intended) in the shoes of this so called 'liability wives' . He might reconsider his position on whether 'liability wives' should be forced out of marriages with cheating inconsiderate men without anything. A woman who stays at home and looks after the kids and the home is contributing A LOT to the marriage.

Let men who do not want to give half of their money to women keep their trousers zipped! . . . or 'marry' a 'non-woman' grin!
