It is a sin of disobedience! Marriage is to produce 'GODLY SEED'. God's commandments are for our own good, so please ask yourself the following questions:
Will it be easy for your Children to be practising Christians when you marry a Muslim? (Remember how 'family' is 'traditionally run' in 'Africa'). Do you know what rights you have in Islam to practice Christianity? What 'powers' does a Muslim man have over his 'Wife'? Will he love you as CHRIST loves the church or Will he love you like ALLAH commands? Will his family be happy for you to continuing practising Christianity or will there be a MUSLIM wife (or four more)added to the family if you are deemed 'uncooperative' in the matter of religion later on in the marriage? Will you be happy to practise ISLAM if you had to choose between 'A HUSBAND' and 'A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD'?
I am sure you can come up with more questions yourself! If you still CURIOUS after all the questions, ASK GOD! |

Enough of denial from you, Seyibrown. A country that purchases ammo, used or used ever says to others, dont think I am not ready for you. Even thinking about ammo is as good as purchasing, which is as good as ready for war, which is as good as fighting a war if ever there is a chance for it. America did preemptive strike in the shock and awe of Iraq which later was the signal for the invasion of the muslim infidels according to Christian belief. Raed the word infidel in your Timothy part of the Bible.
You believe that a mere thought of something is as good as doing it. Thats in your new testament, why all of a sudden it changes when Jesus was already a clear cut Jihadist? Why buy swords? Why say I came with wars? Why say I come to bring "no peace"? Why say I come to divide the family? Why say slay them before me, since its in a parable and every parable is about Jesus? sweetnecta, See below the scripture which you partly quote in your second paragraph as quoted above: Matthew 10:32-40 (King James Version)
32Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
40He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Making my summary brief, the passage above is about ACCEPTING JESUS or REJECTING JESUS! The sword seperates those who accept Jesus from those who don't. Picture situations where a family member has been killed for accepting Jesus; just exactly what Jesus was saying there! Many people have died (in Christ) because their family members turned against them for accepting Jesus, and it is still happening today! The members of their own family became their enemies. Jews and Christians are hated, persecuted and killed because of Jesus! If you are for Jesus, you will stand for him regardless of what other people say, think or do to you because of him; if you love Jesus and want to be part of his kingdom, you follow him to the end! You may also want to read Revelation 19; 11 - 21 to see how the 'sword' will be used on the Earth! (Remember to read in context)I hope you are able to think deeply on that scripture and my brief note. On your first paragraph, Mutallab kitting himself with a bomb has not resulted in the US declaring war on YEMEN, NIGERIA or the UK. TWO SWORDS do not equate to a Jihad! Will be happy to discuss the OP parable when OP comes back with an HONEST SUMMARY! |

Really, then you seem to lack basic understanding of this thread, central to what Deep is saying,is why would God authorize grotesques actions against unborn Children, premise on this then a suicide bomber who claims to be fighting a war can legitimately claim that God told him to do what he is doing period. To say committing atrocities in the name of God whether in war or in peace makes any difference is very ingenious indeed. Country A going to War against Country B is different from a citizen of Country A blowing up citizens in the middle of Country B when there is no declaration of a war! Country A or B claiming that God sent them, is behind them, and gives them total victory over the enemy is different from 'certain citizens' of Country A claiming that God sent him to kill Citizens of Country B! If 'certain citizens' of Country A want real war and believe that God sent them to destroy Country B and will give them victory, let their Country (Country A) come out boldy and declare war, and let us see this god that 'sent them' HELP THEM WIN THE WAR !

One should laugh at how you couldn't raise any objection that Jesus did sanction violence when the Jews were at his throat, more so instead of explaining to us why Jesus was battle ready u try hard to divert attention from what i raised, guess what all this bears the hall mark of hypocrisy and desperation fueled by an in ordinate flair to hang unto any form of self denial, all this only makes me laugh since deep within you, the truth has been read. Point where I lied, if not you lack any form of virtue to be found in decent and credible individual. And for you dumb information, the word Jihad simply means struggle, this could be in any form be it in a battle to fight oppression or doing charitable things like cleaning the road of dangerous implements, but again Jesus demand for swords was premise on religious vigor as he made reference to the fact that when he sent his disciples on errands of religious nature they didn't they carry swords? now he advise them take swords on your mission, two swords would have been enough since he apparently wasn't expecting to many people to come and arrest him, he expected jews like himself not Romans to come to arrest him, it is to be noted that Peter looped off some one's ear with one of the sword. again would your desperation let you answer simple questions? Why would somebody be so desperate in the face of truths revealed to her,
Madam how many swords is enough for Jihad? since you are apparently a Jihad expert with desperate inclination to deny the truth when you see it, Jesus hardly had an army to start with that is why two swords is enough for his band of 12 men to engage in street fight as we know that just a couple of men came to arrest him. But madam desperation would you ever put things in their context to observe the truth? I guess not. Exactly, vexdacool! How does the bolded in your quote translate to starting a war? We know that the OP was reffering to 'large-scale killing of others in the name of religion', and that Islamic terrorists use the word in describing their actions.Waiting for uplawal! |

@Deepsight talk about desperation in religion, pls do not fall for his tactic he is simply trying to change the topic seeing that he has been clearly flogged, note the most sensible thing to do in this case is to simply reject that god actually gave those orders rather this two Genocidal elements are defending the indefensible. One can conclude that some one could have tossed this into the bible or tried to glamorize their children ship of God. vexdacool, Isn't war between two countries different from a suicide bombing? |

Pastor AIO: you see, I am a man that does as he is told. Upon reading your post above I immediately googled 'ripped pregnant women open' as you instructed. this is what I found. http://www.google.co.uk/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=ripped+pregnant+women+open&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&ei=SfTwTLW8NIuwhQfp7YGDDA
http://www.answering-christianity.com/karim/pregnant_women_ripped_open.htm
It centers around a quote from hosea where God punishes the israelites by sending the assyrians, who will rip open their pregnant women. There is no mention here of it being done so that sexual immorality can be practiced. Remember also that the king of Assyria is a servant (angel) of God.
The next link provided is very interesting too. http://www.jstor.org/pss/602234 What this text suggests is that due to the uniform way it is used throughout the bible ("dash the childrens heads against rocks and ripped open the pregnant mothers" that it might actually be a literary device used to suggest nameless atrocities. It goes on discuss that the assyrians who were quite proud of the various terrors that they afflicted on their victims and would describe them in details never actually mentioned cutting open pregnant women. The talk about many other equally ghastly deeds but not that.
And then there was the Jewish King Menahem who also attacked his own israelite subjects and ripped open their wombs.(2 Kings 15:16 ) However NOWHERE is it written that the ripping open of wombs was done as a sacrifice to gods to empower them to commit sexual immorality. Where in heaven's name did you pull that one out from? The only time a non jew is said to rip out a womb is when they are executing God's judgement on Jews.
I'll ignore the rest of your attempts to sound condescending, and holier-than-thou as it is clear where's it's source is. You are the one who knows better than to employ 'OC/NC gymnastics' when trying to clarify OC/NC acts but cannot connect the temporal to the spiritual or even dig up a bit of history on your own. I am may not holier than you but I do spend some searching for the truth. I won't do your homework for you; you've done it yourself and found answers that supports your view that human sacrifice does not multiply 'evil'. My argument on the OP was clear enough. Go and search more if you are not happy with my view and your current findings. |

Pastor AIO: I didn't ask explanation of gymnastics. I asked for references. Could you please supply us some references for what you said above. Where were babies been ripped out in order to allow sexual immorality? Pastor, It is not my fault that you do not know what the Bible says and that you cannot carry out further research based on facts avilable from the Bible. Why should I throw what I found out into your laps when you are too lazy to do the research and have already made up your mind what you want to believe?
How difficult is it to type 'ripped pregnant women open' on google, press the search button; search the Bible (online, its free these days) to find out what gods those who were (you are angry at their being) destroyed served, and then do an historical search (outside the Bible) on the origins of those gods and the rituals related to their worship.
It is solely your fault that you choose to be solely tuned to the temporal realm (which do not even fully explore). GO GET A GODLY SPIRITUAL LIFE, PASITOR OLODO RABATA ! GO BACK TO GENESIS! |

Just address post # 30 accordingly to allow an 'HONEST DEBATE' if that was your true motive for the OP, and there is no deceit in you and your motive (given the assertive title 'JESUS ALSO PREACHED JIHAD' as opposed to an inquisitory one 'DID JESUS ALSO PREACH JIHAD?').
