Family / Re: How To Cope When Your Spouse Doesn't Listen: Seeking Advice by sgtponzihater1(m): 1:53pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
The intuitive thing to do is to ask for help, so well done for that. However, it doesn't work out well in reality. Most people you are asking advice for about a Christian home would give you advice based on head knowledge, and based on sentiments. You'll have to go back to the One who crafted marriage and the union between man and woman to get a sincere and unbiased answer, as well as help in the place of your pain. What I believe will help is getting rooted in God, and rediscovering your place as king, head and priest over your home, and asking God for wisdom to express this. Lead your home with the aim of pleasing God, and not your wife, and making eternity at the end of the day. When Eve made man sin, going forward the Bible held the man accountable. You are accountable for your home and how things turn out and not your wife. She is there to help and support you but if she usurps your authority, then she is in error. Don't let your wife ruine your home in the same pattern as eve. Discover your headship and leadership. Not by arguing and fighting, but by first aligning 100% to the headship of God, and asking him for wisdom and boldness to assume headship of your home. So how do you practically deal with this? Make sure you repent and have a clean hand and heart towards God and your fellow men. If your wife has a weak point with which she holds you Ransome e.g She paid for your marriage, she caught you cheating, she knows you as a cheat at work etc, repent and recognise that God has forgiven and forgotten, so no man has the right to hold this against you. Be closer to God and read his word daily, make His word the favourite thing in the world. Let his world build you into the King, priest and prophet of your home that you are. Honour, respect, love and be kind to your wife. Read the bible verses about family relationship e.g 1st Peter 3 and Ephesians, and especially focus on your own role and not on the "submission" role of your wife. Many men read those verses to remind women about submission, rather than what the bible ask them to do. God will judge any wife that is not submissive or obedient to "her own husband", but imposing that justice and judgement does not lie in your hands. God will also judge any man that overburdens and impose excessive burden on his wife. Ask God for wisdom and the guidance of the holy spirit. Look into Him as your head, and true judge. Your wife should align by this stage. If she doesn't, then give her up to God to judge. Don't let her character get to you, and this can only be by the help of God. Sometimes you'll get angry, go into your room and release that anger and pain in prayers. The devil is happy when women appropriate authority over men and attempt to ruine homes, because he knows that by weakening the leadership structure in a home, he can weaken the family and then society, but by God's mercy, He will overcome Satan on our behalf. This write up is only scratching the surface and it takes a couple of days seminar to work through these. I have been there before, I am still on the path, but I have overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and because I surrendered my masculinity to Christ, I will gain it back a thousand fold to lead my family in the way of the Lord and his truth, so will you. God's blessing, peace, favour and strength to you and you family always PonziHater 3 Likes |
Religion / Re: Malice Among Ministers In The Church: What Should Be Done? by sgtponzihater1(m): 10:37am On Jul 09, 2023 |
LegallyBlunt: Malice is beyond not speaking to someone, it's actually bearing evil desire or thoughts against a person. It ranks up high with murder. Cain had malice against Abel, but was cunning and was able to disguise it, then went on to murder his brother. This shows that there are people who chat with you and smile at you who actually bear malicious thoughts against you, these are worst than those who do not speak with you. If you have tried to reconcile with a brother and the brother refuses to speak to you and you do all that is humanly possible to win them back, do you go on trying to speak with him? I don't think so. What you do is to wish them all the best in your heart, pray for them, but keep your distance so you don't get yourself burnt by their malicious thoughts. I am not sure of your Church setting, however two pastors not being in talking term can bring a cancer into the Church, as it does not portray what brotherly love should be, and sets a bad precedence to followers, but I cannot conclude that both are malicious, as there may be one who has good intentions and has tried to reconcile with the other, but the other has formed a brick wall or maybe both have fallen off the path, I don't know. An elder need to rebukes the offending party, then a group of elders, then it needs to be brought forward to the Church. If these fail the erring one needs to be excommunicated from the Church so as to protect others, from catching this cancer. And if this also fails, then he should be handed over to Satan, so that his Spirit will be preserved on the day of judgement I pray the peace of God on your Church, and pray He keeps His children in that church from the grasp of the devil, and that one day we all attain the unity of the faith, the same unity which Christ prayed dearly before His ascension. |
Education / Re: Mmesoma Ejikeme: JAMB Statement On Result Of Anambra Government Enquiry. by sgtponzihater1(m): 3:48pm On Jul 08, 2023 |
Any one who truly professes Christ must love Him beyond father and mother, and beyond brother and sister, and beyond tribal lines. He must be first, and last without any middle ground. Unfortunately many "Christians" have become tribalists, and make all their conclusions based on ethnic affiliations, forgetting that we will all one day be judged individually without consideration to our tribe. Many stumble in the dark, wish their brother dead and curse the country that feed them, because they have willfully ignored the path of truth, to embrace hatred, wickedness and evil. I pray the young lady repents, retrace her steps and puts laser sharp focus into her future, then her light will shine bright and she can turn this temporary shame to a story to success. Not much to offer. However, I say a prayer for you, that the Lord comforts you and that for the pain you feel with these rejections, you shall have equal and opposite joy for the future that will open up for you. This I pray in Christ's name and power. PonziHater 2 Likes |

All look good from my end today. I sincerely hope to start looking at my portfolio less frequently, as I will not make any change to them for the foreseeable future. No emotions when playing the stock market game. Long term investors, like myself, can pick their portfolio and go to sleep, not minding where the tide turns. The uninformed investors tweek their investment daily in a bid to beat the market; this is extremely hard to do, so sail with the tide. Day time trading is quite different however, you have to be on your screen daily, making critical decisions. I rarely recommend this, So respect to those trading daily and still winning. May we experience our rich lives. PonziHater 2 Likes |

Your portfolio, like mine, starts down at the beginning of the market? Don't fret, this is an opportunity for long term investors to own more stake in companies; its the investors goldmine. For every loss we make, we see it as an opportunity to own more chunk of the cake, and for every profit we give all the glory back to the one and only God who gives power to make wealth. In the market patience, humility, boldness to take educated risk are the real virtues, only by the spirit of the only true God do people really imbibe these virtues Godspeed to all voyagers. ernie4life: With Chaka, for example, their intermediary is drive wealth US, and they buy stocks with your name. If Chaka goes burst, they cannot take your fund "legally", as they are only a platform for you as an individual to purchase that stock or ETF. Moreover Chaka is owned I.e Citi Investment Capitial . There is trove, bamboo etc, but I like to stick with medium to longterm industry players. Most of the others are business men who's main objective is making profit from exhorbitant fees, which shouldn't be the main motivation. Another app based in the UK is Dodl which is actually owned by AJbells. Money box, invest engine etc are also available in the UK. Having an app that purchases several stocks/index fund/ETF is actually a game changer for the average investors. I have tinkered with starting one with much lower fees than what currently obtains, but with questions like yours, I imagine Nigerians may not be exactly ready. Also any management fees above 0.5% -1% annually is actually too expensive, but I see Nigerians unlike people in western world are very comfortable paying this, so I imagine low fees may not tilt people towards patronising low cost players at the moment. In the end every investor should do their due diligence and take responsibility for their profits and losses. Best regards 1 Like |
Family / Re: This Is A Photo Of Father & Daughter In Ilorin & Not Husband & Wife by sgtponzihater1(m): 1:39pm On Jul 02, 2023 |
As a father, I can now see why the devil is fighting against men and trying to feminize everything. A society led by women is a society heading towards indiscipline, sponteineity and chaos. Fathers are our pillars, our strength, our compass, our source of morality and principles. Without father's the world will be nearing the brink of chaos. When fathers are alive to their responsibilities, the devil has no foothold in a family, in a church or in a nation. Blessings to this dad, may his effort never go to waste and a prayer of forgiveness to those who had erroneously called him names, may the hardening of their heart not be to their destruction, may the God of truth be able to reveal himself to them, and teach them to set their heart on good things alone. All the best fathers PonziHater |

ernie4life: For most fintech companies you still have a CSCS number, if you buy an ETF or stocks then it's in your name. Also for MMF fund bought under those platforms, it should usually be in the investors name, the platform should only be an intermediary between the individual and the mutual fund company. It is the duty of the investors to ask for his investment certificate and have it handy. If those platform go burst, then you can contact the provider or the platform may transfer your details to another platform. If cowry wise invests your money with their name, then it's a Ponzi scheme and you've got to run. PonziHater |
Investment / Re: Mutual Funds by sgtponzihater1(m): 4:51pm On Jul 01, 2023 |
Tohmey: Seems safe, since if they crash you can claim your money from the primary providers. The only issues is you'll be paying more fees than you should. The primary providers take their fees, then cowry wise does the same. I am very particular about fees. Otherwise, you can probably go ahead. 1 Like |

Years ago i did this maths, and have stuck with the money market fund, with no single regrets, I have seen an average return of 10.5% which definitely for my long term plan, so why should I jinx it? Ways to fund is paying into their provided account, takes 3-5days Paying into an account that is generated for you: That goes into your wallet almost immediately.
