Nasir123: See, Tinubu is a Yoruba man. A Muslim. Those of us supporting him are not doing so because he is a Muslim. We're doing so because he had made alot of sacrifice and contribution politically. Now if Tinubu (whose wife is a Christian) is now contesting,do you expect me to be doing the Muslim-Muslim thing you guys do just because he's picking a vise from the North? I wouldn't. Because we do not clamour for those things in the politics we do in our states. We do not roll that way!
The North has a problem. But that problem will not define how the rest of us should think. personally I don't have a problem with the Muslim Muslim ticket but you know why nigerians have a problem with it? It's not because of tinubu as a candidate or the Muslims in Yoruba land, it's more about how politicians have used islamic religion to advance certain sinister ideology either nepotism or jihad/ terrorism, and this evil movements were certainly not done by Yoruba Muslims or those in auchi in Edo state, but by the northern muslims, there is a difference between how the religion is practiced by northern Muslims an those in the south, I know If the reverse was the case a christian/Christian ticket the southern Muslims may not be that bothered by it, but you know most definitely the northern Muslims would never let it happen, you know that. |

What are you saying about Ondo,Ekiti and the rest!?
Very wicked and confused set of people claiming Godlike. Spt! it's very naive for you to compare both, at least when we complain we don't go about killing people to advance our belief, what we are asking for is fairness, not an advantage, I like the Yoruba people both Muslims and Christians because they do not allow religion bother them that much, but the major folks who play this religious card are the northern Muslims. |

seunmsg: The fact that he got most of the money back from the US government and was not even indicted says it all. look if he was truly innocent why not provide proof of fund, if there were justifiable proof of funds the US could never have laid finger on the money its obvious he took a plea deal, and was able to provide proof that some on the cash were legal funds while the rest were illegal, but there is absolutely no way he wasn't moving dirty money, if the govt had taken the money from him without legal cause that would be corruption on the part of the govt, forget this " he was not indicted stuff" because he obviously took a plea deal and snitched on other gang members. |

He is not known in Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo. No chance of him getting 25% in these SW states.
He wouldn't get 25% in Edo and Delta for sure. Oshiomole/Obaseki will secure Edo for APC/PDP. Okowa will secure Delta for PDP as he is on the ballot.
Obi cannot win any South South State. Udom will secure Akwa Ibom for PDP. Duoye Diri will do same in Bayelsa. Wike will probably join APC or at least remain in PDP. Cross Rivers will be split between 3 parties. mushroom analyst which Edo state will oshiomhole secure for apc, he couldn't even secure the state in the last governorship election for the apc, in benin everyone is definitely with Peter obi, you know nothing you think anyone cares about tinubu and atiku in benin. |

SARSCoV2: Learning from other countries who have broken similar challenges being presently faced by Nigeria.
What does Nigeria have to learn from Egypt that is far ahead of us in all ramifications. We do not share similar ideology, culture and system of government.
We could as well learn from America, Germany or the United kingdom if we desperate to start from the top, which will still be of no use.
Rwanda and Ghana are fastest growing economies who happen to just be coming out of the shackles and challenges being presently faced by Nigeria, and such destination would have been worthwhile as their are still evident developmental tracts which are visible and presently working for them.
If you must import ideas, you have to import from where best fits your scenario. Not importing ideas from Alaska to West Africa. Rwanda and ghana are not that industralisised compared to Egypt and the Egyptian population is also quite hugh too, understanding Egypt would be a better fit compare Nigeria's hugh population and it's industrialization drive that of Egypt and you would see similarities. |

If zoning was really practiced in the apc, then why did the south west produce the vice president and also the speaker of the house, i think it is a little bit unfair to other regions in the south, since the president is from the north, vice from south(west), the Senate president from the north, then the speaker of the house should have been from the other southern region, if tinubu becomes president I doubt if he can unite this nation, aside the corruption and age issue, he does not seem to have the emotional intelligence to handle Nigeria's diversity, given his recent outbursts prior to the primary, in Nigeria's democratic history there has never been a time when among the top four political offices(presidency, vice, Senate and speaker) when a particular tribe in the south has held both office, I think tinubu should have allowed other region in the south to have produced one of those, that was the least he should have done given the fact he is also running for president, which some may say does not tell well of our nation's equity. |
