These fifteen countries were once known as USSR ( Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) This union collapse in 1991, and they all went their separate ways and became sovereign nations.

In 1921, Ireland �� separated off from United Kingdom ��.

In 1830, Belgium �� and Netherlands �� went their separate ways.

In 1776 USA �� seceded from UK ��.

All these separations and secessions happened for various reasons ranging from, political, economic, religious, ethnic, sociocultural, ideological differences, amidst other factors too. No nation, state or country is divinely created, they’re all human creation along various lines. If you can’t tag along, untangle yourselves.

Scotland ������� recently had a referendum in a failed bid to secede from Uk ��. But are still pushing.

Uk �� just recently dissolved their marriage with EU (European Union)

Catalans are aggressively pursuing a Catalonia Republic separate from Spain ��.

So I ask, how many more blood � of black men, women and children do we have to spill to keep this Lugardian fraud called Niger-Area?

Some unscrupulous European men gathered in Berlin, Germany in 1884-85 and balkanised Africa for their own benefit and interest, and today, those of us who benefit from the system, are on a killing spree to maintain the status-quo, not because they have a blue print or road map to make Nigeria better, rather to make their pockets and bank accounts fatter.

There are various options on the table that can make the geographical entity called Nigeria and her demography better and greater, unarguably, disintegration is ONE of them.

Personally to me, I think we’ve crossed the rubicon, and dismantling this Lugardian fraud, will save lives, birth healthy competition, all facets will develop and grow according to their own pace. All facets will build a NATION in line with their values, beliefs, worldview, identities, civilisation etc.

I’m persuaded to believe it is no longer a matter of ‘IF’ but a matter of ‘WHEN’. I only hope when the time comes, we wouldn’t have to go down the Yugoslavian route of bloodshed to go our separate ways, rather the Icelandic route of peace and civility.

Nigeria's annual budget is still less than 15 trillion, pls what will that amount do for over 200m people? Infact, let's assume 15t is to be shared physically, that is around 75k per head per annum.

I am Igbo but I spent 80% of my life with Yorubas and I love them. Some of my best friends till today are Yoruba. We have very very close Yoruba family friends - the list is endless.

From primary school to University to NYSC to even here in the UK, Yoruba and Igbo get on and we are friends, couples, business partners etc.
We inter-marry, we do business together, we bond together to fight injustice -but when we come to nairaland we see hatred.

I am so confused, is Nairaland a true representation of Nigeria or am I naive
