That all this small boys importing 2kg or co will not give them peace of mind, while those who import in high volumes don't even bother them one bit. One specifically banned his China staff from receiving goods from purchases from online stores. And I agree with him because I experience this on a daily basis. The way we communicate is very important. I have been royally effed up by three of my preferred shippers several times. Rather than resort to exchanging words, I communicated in a polite and respectful manner and the situation was resolved. This not to say the shippers are all innocent oh but I suggest we all take some basic courses in conflict resolution online its free.

I just opened a kiddies party store in lagos, after I saw your advert on nairaland I decided to buy from aliexpress.
I bought alot of kids and party stuffs from different suppliers and copied the address and tel. No on your website to them.
The suppliers haven't sent me the tracking numbers yet.
And I havent filled up what I bought on the website though I sent them in a mail to you guys.
I really don't know what to do next.
I tot the process is like that of aascargo.com, but its seems different.

I even used your service this morning to pay to a manufacturer and it was smooth as always. my friend Elena did it OK. The manufacturer even commended her when we chatted.

Kashif: CVM is an incredibly lousy organisation! I have never heard of any entrepreneur, dead or alive who has survived in business with the way Victor is going. He knows nothing about orders but will fill in correspondence. He is just a failed trader trying to make ends meet. His business module smacks of utmost shallow mindedness.

He does not pick calls; only returns 5% of the calls! Once, I have had to ask him if his phone was mobile and to my chargrin, he said 'yes'! His sense of business management is very pathetic. Somebody should teach him 80/20 rule! 80% of your customers are complaining of the same thing (20% of your failure) and you are dumb to ignore it? Indeed, they are doomed!

Elena was better but now, her lackluster attitude is almost at par with Victor's. She would leave chat room, not respond to emails, not return calls, not credit account, not reply text messages. It also appears her diction has taken a nose dive lately.

Ifeanyi is a chronic time waster that only Victor can control. They are all siblings from different mothers, assembled to frustrate people!

For your sanity, stay away from CVM, they are not worth a penny! A formidable competitor should be in the pipeline, and I would love to see them shoved aside!

Get the number of your seller for fast and easy transaction. Ask your seller for his number by sending message or mail to the seller or you get it via trade manager.

ivy77: My first transaction turn bitter. After I received my parcel from Ifeanyi, I discovered that the box which contain my items was forcefully torn an one expensive wrist watch was stolen. All effort to rich Ifeanyi proves abortive. By the time he picked my call he could not offer a convincing answer as to what happened.

My parcel was with him for almost two days. I told him the content of the box and beg him to send it to me in Kaduna through a reliable means. He never told me something had gone wrong until I received the box. Before sending the box he was always calling and trying to crack some jokes even though he was dealing with me for the first time. It was when i saw what happened that I got the trick. I still went ahead and pay him the N3000 he charged me for sending a 3.6kg to Kaduna.

If this is how this guy operates then i think chrissvicmall has a lot of huddles to cross.

Kashif: I have finally gotten my stuff but it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. CVM's customer service is sub zero, and they don't seem to be bothered. I can't believe that a young freight company chooses to ignore its customers. There are other things about them I am struggling to come to terms with, which I won't mention here.

If your customers are in a different time zone, that is the time zone you work with! You want your customers waking up at 2am to communicate with you? How many Chinese customers do you ship to? You better wake up. You can deliver my stuff within a day if you like, but your customer service is wack!

Respond to emails, call as you promised, send agreed emails, update your website information, etc. People don't like being ignored!

dvdami: I understand what you mean by some customers leaving their goods for too long in your office, hence d need to apply the so called demurrage.

I certainly didn't hear any such thing from u or Ifeanyi until today.

My advise: Let it be a written law that demurrage applies. Ignorance, they say, is no excuse in the law.

So always alert your custimers that demurrage applies even before their goods arrive. You can also put it on your website.

einsteino: do we strike you as illiterate? please do a proper research before commenting, banks have a profit margin of 2-3% per usd. hence when the official exchange rate is 160, they sell at 164. lastly aboki exchange rate is always better off than bank, that is why people have a preference for them.

i know of another shipping company whose exchange rate always matches with the current mkt rate, wouldnt mention their name cos i am not here to advertise.

all we are saying is that the exchange rate should be reasonable
